Thought we'd try this place because it was close to our hotel. Alas, this turned out to be a mistake. It's obvious that they are understaffed and don't communicate well. We ordered some boneless chicken and fried dumplings. After what seemed like a really long time to wait (about 1/2 hour) finally got a text saying that our order was ready. Well, another 10 minutes passed and still no food. At this point, I asked for a refund, but they said that my order was ready. They finally produced it, except they said that they had run out of dumplings and substituted more chicken. Turned out the food was OK, but certainly not worth waiting for that long. read more

Could easily be a 4 or 5 star rating, but they're unbelievably slow. There were hardly any other customers, and it still took 20-25 minutes to get my small boneless tenders. The chicken itself was amazing. I was expecting small like normal boneless size wings, but instead it was large chicken tenderloin pieces. Each tender was 3-5 bites, so I was more than satisfied with the price after seeing the size of the order. The sauce was very good with a nice spice level. I can't recall what it was called, but it had two of the fire symbols, which I would say was accurate. It's a nice setup and location, and would probably be a license to print money if they could fix whatever the hold up is in the kitchen. The amount of TVs is kind of odd, and I wouldn't really expect a Korean chicken place to have a ring of flat screen TVs around the entire restaurant, but they do. I was really excited to try this place as I work just a few doors down the street and have been looking for a place to eat at regularly. I read all of the poor reviews regarding the service and long wait time so I placed a to-go order to try and avoid this. The food only took about 10-15 minutes so that was great! When I stopped in there were only 2-3 people dining in and the host behind the bar was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food itself was relatively underwhelming. I ordered the boneless "hot spicy" and a side of fries. The chicken was crispy, but the picture on the website shows the chicken smothered in sauce however as you can see it looks like they just poured a spoonful of sauce on top. You can't see it but the chicken underneath had 0 sauce on it. Bummer. The fries were a huge portion which I am glad considering they were $6, they were just ok though. I went in to this location just after 1 pm on their second day in business, when they should have eagerly been welcoming customers. Instead, I was told they were breaking until 3:30. Please?! You are eliminating much of the business lunch hour customers, and that would also include convention attendees who may have breaks other than the noon hour. You indicated that your hours are 11 to 10 or something like that, with no indication of a midday break. Add to that the reviews you get for terribly slow service. I will not be back. What you need to realize when looking at reviews for this place is that most if not all of the reviews give few stars because concerns with service and long wait time. After eating here I echo the same concerns about the service and the wait times. It all seems very disorganized. Servers getting orders wrong and not refilling water. However, this appears to be an issue that is rooted in staffing. There are two employees helping the entirety of the restaurant. They play the roles of bartenders, busboys, hostesses, and servers. They are not set up to succeed. As far as food goes, the fried chicken I had was flavorful and delicious. I had the Gangnam style wings which were sweet, spicy, garlicky, and peppery. They were great. Fries were cold and unsalted which was unfortunate. The tteokbokki was fantastic and is probably the best one in Cincinnati. The next item I'm eyeing is the kimchi fried rice. All in all- yummy food. I think this place has potential but it has to overcome some serious staffing and managerial issue before it can succeed read more

I've had bbq in other states and in korea. Ingredients are definitely different and not in a good way. Yes it's crispy but thats where it ends. Either franchise isn't maintaining their quality or this location is cutting corners but it's definitely not korean chicken. If we knew it was fusion korean chicken we would've gone somewhere else. And our food took too long and we were only attended too when we asked. Ambiance is good but that's where it ends unless you want fusion chicken. This was so disappointing in every way. I had tried Decibel Korean fries chicken in Walnut Hills and loved it so I was psyched when this opened near my office. First time they said it was a 50-minute wait so we just left. Today we were able to walk in. It's not clear if it's seat yourself or they seat you. There was a welcome stand but no one there. It is a sit down restaurant. The real problem was they took 25 minutes to bring us what was in the end lukewarm, overpriced chicken nuggets. The sauces were thick and syrupy. This is like Pizza Hut wings but you have to sit, wait and tip. It's still early but they're going to have to change a LOT to make another visit worthwhile. read more

Came for early dinner for two on a Sunday evening and sat at the bar. Ordered the half and half bone in wings, original and secret sauce, as well as kimchi fried rice. All of which came out within a reasonable time and piping hot. OG was phenomenal and the secret sauce had a bit of a cinnamon/brown sugar kind of thing going on which was a very interesting, in a good way! Both of these and the kimchi FR were extremely tasty and I think every server had kindly checked on us within minutes. I have no cons to relay, food, service, and atmosphere were terrific. We were sat immediately but was not given water until 10 mins after getting seated. We also had to ask for refills and when they were refilled, it was warm water. Ick. Went there on a Friday evening. It wasn't too busy. The staff was friendly, but I wasn't super impressed with the overall experience. First, the food was pretty good. I got spicy wings, my girlfriend got boneless wings, and we also got dumplings as a side. Timing in getting our food was bad. They brought the dumplings and my gf's boneless wings out after about 10 mins, which was reasonable. However, it took them another 20 mins or so to get my wings out. In addition, the dumplings came with a small side of soy sauce. The amount of sauce was barely enough for a couple of dips. I asked them for an additional side of the sauce. The server pours more soy sauce into the same container, but again, barely pours any into the container. I guess they are really trying to save on that soy sauce. Finally, we have chicken wings, in sauce, which are inherently going to be messy. All we had for napkins was the single napkins that came with the silverware. Should be a given if you are serving chicken wings to provide more napkins Overall, I'd say food was good, but they definitely need to work on some service issues. read more
