While the chicken was flavorful, the rice was inedible--hard, grainy, and clearly undercooked. I requested a replacement, but it was even worse. The food also took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. The only issue is there is no ranch I half to a cup of ranch from toppers for my daughters spicy wings. I ordered the Rosè Tteokbokki with cheese and it was completely inedible. The cheese tasted burnt and had a strong gas-like flavor that ruined the entire meal. I called the restaurant to let them know, and the person who answered told me it was put under the broiler--but didn't even apologize. He just stayed silent after I explained how bad it was. After a couple weeks of this restaurant's opening, their service has been superb. Despite the negative reviews of this restaurant, they've improved a lot within a short amount of time. Personally, I love the food & it's worth the wait. This isn't a fast food chain like raising canes or dave's hot chicken which is why I think majority of customers are complaining about the 30-45 minute wait. If you're willing to buy & wait 30 minutes for wingstop that has smaller wings & portions, you can wait for the same amount of time for even better quality chicken & other Korean delicacies at this restaurant. You have to have a lot of patience for excellent, delicious, authentic Korean food. The chicken is always crispy & very filling. Not to mention, their chicken portions are HUGE. The tteokbokki is my favorite. Definitely worth the money you spend. The whole atmosphere is very friendly & calming. They have sports playing on one TV & K-pop music videos playing on another which compliments their ambiance perfectly. Great place to gather with your family or go for a solo date. As a loyal customer, I'll definitely be coming back more often! If your experience at this restaurant was negative in the past, I really do recommend coming back again & giving it another shot! read more

Great food and service. The ambience is good. The only thing was the music being blasted from the kitchen was annoying. Then you have the music in the restaurant which was fine. The people cooking in the kitchen should not have their music so loud that customers can hear it in the dining area. I'm familiar with their Pasadena location (which doesn't have great reviews) and was excited to hear they were opening up here. The good: service was nice, friendly, helpful. We came in after 8pm and the place was still really busy. Generous portions on my 8 piece boneless wings. The not so good: kind of pricy: $40 for an 8 piece, steamed rice, and chicken fried rice. Also not good: I stingy portion of chicken fried rice. Like, child-sized. And where was the chicken? It wasn't in the rice. Also, the "secret sauce" was so cloyingly sweet it make me feel ill. I should've stuck with my original sauce choice, but I asked the friendly employee for a recommendation and went with it. My fault, but I could not eat that awful sauce. And - the chicken tasted undercooked. Not raw, but definitely undercooked. My stomach was roiling after once piece. I felt like I wasted my money on this meal. We took it home, and will try blotting off the sauce and recooking it in the air fryer, so maybe it'll be edible after that. Bottom line: I love korean fried chicken. I wanted to love this place. The fried rice was delicious, but there wasn't hardly enough for a meal. So I won't be back. BTW, for everyone saying "finally, a korean fried chicken place in the area!" there's another one that is bomb - it's on Victoria Ave. in Ventura, next to Harbor Freight. Their wings are better. They told us the wait would be around 50 minutes to an hour, but our food was ready in just 30 minutes, which was impressive given the crowd. The chicken was full of flavor, no complaints at all. It's new so I understand that they're still getting their flow of things but nevertheless such kind people I met. Specifically Venz, Zhayna, and Malachi! All three served exceptional customer services and added to the ambiance by simply always willing to help. The interior is chill and comforting with the TVs! Venz constantly came and asked if I needed anything and even came around to crack some jokes! Zhayna was always there for assistance and truly cared if I needed anything and was zooming to other tables at the same time.
