I occasionally induldge and swing by here in the mornings since it is right around the corner from my office. I am OBSESSED with the olive pimento cream cheese. It has a good amount of pimento as well as a nice olive-y brine-y kind of undertone. I friggin love it! They are fast, well priced, and the bagels are HUGE. I've been dying to try their Taylor Ham Bfast sanwhiches (oh, how I miss you sometimes Baltimore). But I'm having a hard time not ordering the Whole Wheat with Olive Pimento....it was life-changing. Best $5 (with large fountain drink) I've had. Also, don't complain about the service at the walk up counter. They strive to get people in and out as quickly as possible. Loved BB's for breakfast and lunch. Was Always a go to for good meal. Not today! Went for breakfast 10am not crowded the Benny had bacon almost unseen and what was there was tasteless. The home fries were over cooked more burnt and charred. The server delivered our coffee then the food and she never came back. Saw her walk by ask for check. A coffee refill would have been nice. Also notice a table finished and was not cleaned nor sanitized before seating a new customer. Gross! We got check left cash on table. Not crowded as mentioned! No excuse. Yes, the staff can be brash and the lunch menu is very lacking so if you pass on both of those and go there for breakfast and Bagels than it is very good! Anybody who knows a proper bagel has to eat here. I haven't eaten in the cafe itself, but I eat bagels from here about once a month. Yes the parking lot sucks and it's hard to find a spot in the morning, but it is so worth it. Something about an everything bagel just makes me smile. read more

I would have given a higher score but as I went to leave I noticed the big guy in the back though he was wearing gloves he was blowing his nose and wiping it without changing gloves as he went back to prepping plates. ALWAYS busy and ALWAYS good food! Parking is a little tight but there's a constant flow in and out. Coffee is really good. Bagels are huge and soft. I've heard many raves about Taylor ham so we decided to give it a try, LOVED it! We get the hash with eggs, Taylor ham and eggs, sausage and eggs, all with potatoes. Excellent bagels, great variety and the real deal for NY/NJ people looking for authentic bagels. Mediocre,hurried service at bagel counter but not any different from a bagel store with a line out the door. I've not eaten on diner portion of store , so no comment there. Only real negative is horrendous parking lot , really quite dangerous pulling in/out to main road and not nearly enough spots for busy Saturday & Sunday. I will put up with brusque counter folks and nutty parking for the only real bagel in this area , I suppose the owners know that too. read more

We get bagels from here pretty regularly, and we are always pleased! There's a takeout counter to the left once you enter the restaurant. This is convenient and the line moves fast. Don't be surprised if the line is going out the door during the morning! The restaurant is convenient to 400 and being right off McFarland they get a lot of commuter business. I recommend trying the jalapeño cheddar cream cheese paired with a sesame bagel. That's my go to. I get the cream cheese on the side and ask for the bagel unsliced. I then slice and toast at home. BBs is a great way to start a Saturday or Sunday morning. Eating in at the bar is fun. It's a nice bar that you would never suspect by looking at the exterior of the restaurant. I highly recommend the Corned Beef Hash. This is not out-of-the-can Corned Beef that you will be served at many other breakfast establishments. It's substantial, pull apart Corned Beef with smashed red potatoes. It comes with eggs and a bagel. At around $8-$9 this is a great dish. Parking can be competitive during prime breakfast hours. There's a good amount of room to accommodate, but BBs gets busy and don't be surprised at a 15 minute wait if you're looking to dine-in. read more

It's always packed to the brim when we get there but they still manage to seat us within five to ten minutes of being there and give us impeccable service. This place has the best bagels and cream cheese I've ever had!!!! I didn't know you could have them in so many varieties, and other than pumpernickel (which has a flavor to it that I'm not a fan of), they are all sooooo good. The employees are pretty funny and brusque, so if you can appreciate a little sarcasm when you're dealing with them, you'll have a good time. The atmosphere is very laid-back and fun since you don't see a lot of diners down here (the Waffle House doesn't count!). They close at 2pm, so if you want to sit down to eat, don't get there any later than 1pm, and be aware that during peak breakfast and lunch times, parking is a bit limited. This was my favorite breakfast spot until that morning. I was standing there waiting on my bagel and saw that waitress take a plate of food out of the window and she noticed a long piece of hair in those sunny side up eggs and she politely removed the hair from the eggs and proceeded to deliver that plate of food to the customer!
