Hibiscus itself is a flower that grows in warm tropical regions of the world and the tea itself is quite popular for its high vitamin C content, cancer fighting abilities along with giving your a dewy glowing skin like Keanu Reeves just asked you out glow.... I think in the past month I've gone through 3 boxes of their hibiscus tea. They are great to drink all day long while you are working and catching up on the latest episodes of Game of Thrones... I get mine at Walmart for about $2.15 a box and you get 24 tea bags in a box. You can also cold steep in the fridge overnight in a glass pitcher for a refreshing summer drink. Good stuff....

I was greeted on the phone by a friendly lady named Delia, told her of my dilemma and she promptly knew exactly which spice I needed and sent me an "emergency supply" over night without even charging me! Later that month she, her grandson and father (who founded the company - 90+ yrs old) came to eat at my restaurant "just to taste what the difference their spices made in my food". Before leaving, she invited me to take a tour of their spice company, which I did later that month (a private tour by her son, Jesse). During the tour, I was informed that they could and would make any special blend of spices if I need them for any proprietary dish; that time will soon come, I responded. What keeps me from frequenting more and rating is their service. I expect to feel welcome at the least and not a burden. It's a full circle deal for me or nothing. The servers so far have been inattentive, stone cold facial expressions where it makes me feel like I'm imposing. It's a small cramped place that can put some pressure on the hostesses but every time regardless of the demand has been discouraging enough not to come back for some time.
