I really love their elixirs and teas, along with the variety of natural snacks like nuts and other small food items. Everything feels thoughtfully curated and aligned with a wellness-focused lifestyle. But what really stands out to me are the bar soaps. They are genuinely some of the best I've used effective, high quality, and they have different options for specific needs like eczema support, vitamin C, and more. I've noticed a real difference using them, which says a lot. I also really enjoy their incense and tea selection, which adds to the overall calming, grounded vibe of the space. Even their smoking herb blends are a unique offering that you don't see everywhere, and it's cool to have that variety in one place. I've become a loyal customer over time, and I also really appreciate that they have a loyalty program which is definitely worth signing up for if you visit often. The owners are very sweet and are usually present, which makes the shop feel even more welcoming and community oriented. Overall, it's a consistent, thoughtfully run small business and a real gem in Leimert Park that I'm glad to support.

Luckily, while I was at All-Star Weekend, I came across Nappily Natural at a vendor booth and purchased some soursop leaves. I picked up a flyer and noticed they had a store location in LA, so I decided to check it out the very next day. When I visited the store, I was really impressed with the variety of products they offer. They had a great selection of natural herbs, wellness items, and holistic products. I also love that it's Black-owned, which makes supporting the business even more meaningful. The customer service was okay, not overly friendly, but not rude either. They answered my questions and seemed knowledgeable about the products, which I appreciated. The price points were reasonable, and overall it was a solid experience. I'll definitely be returning!

From the "fresh from scratch" ingredients to the final garnishing touches in the end, each course comes out perfectly, creating a full sensorial experience with every meal. He has catered small private events for us over the years and each time always bringing something new and different to the table...literally. His fresh breads, delicious soups, varying gourmet salads...his seafood cioppino is incredible and his tri-tip melts in your mouth. Grilling is an art for him and his baked mac and cheese is the best we've ever had. His Salted Butterscotch Pudding is to die for. He is also passionate and highly experienced with fine wine, craft beer and high end spirits with mad mixology skills. A food and beverage pairing is also a fun and creative activity he can host in addition to cooking lessons and catering. Add to that his funny and gregarious personality with his professional and yet "No big deal, it'll be AWESOME" attitude, you will be in for a treat. Highly recommend Chef Marc Dix for your next culinary event or party. Even during these Covid times, he would be able to provide contactless and virtual experiences. He is BY FAR, one of the best in the business and we are fortunate to have him here locally in the South Bay! Bon Appetit!

Chef Dix not only prepared a fabulous menu for us to prepare, but he carefully showed us "tricks of the trade" on how to chop, dice, slice, and julienne with ease and like a pro. He taught us how to properly hold the cutting knife and how to let the knife do all the work. He taught us to use fresh herbs and spices to bring life to ordinary dishes. I love to cook and thought I knew a lot about cooking, but I walked away with new techniques and a few more recipes that tickle the taste buds. Thank you Marla for hosting and including me. Thank Chef Dix for amazing tips, yummy recipes and a fun-filled evening.
