    Sausage with pickled onion
    Robert R.

Ok, I'm torn. I really like Rockabilly Brewery and in the past we've sampled the food and it was pretty good. We stopped by today and a good thing was that BBQ Fiends is running out of a lot that they offer, good for them. I had the sausage and it's served with pickled onions and pickles. It was very tasty and I'd have it again. My wife ordered a couple of brisket tacos. A quarter of the serving was fat, ok so you're going to get that sometimes. Brisket with queso fresco and flower tortillas just didn't do it. The tortillas had a raw texture and there just wasn't any recognizable taste to the brisket. I'm afraid to say that living here in TX that brisket had no taste! We both tried just the meat without the tortilla...nothing. Service was great, everyone here is always welcoming and the fact you can sit outside with a beer and see the tree tops, wort

Absolutely fantastic. We cleaned the plates. I got 1/4lb of brisket. They asked about preferences. It was so good. So good. This is not just BBQ. These people ate fiends. What's better than that? They brew too and it is top shelf. I'd show you a picture but I ate it already. Pondering more. Would that be too much? Oh, and the staff really like working here and they are working. Great vibe. I have never had brisket this good. Not even close. How can that be? Oh, and the music was good!

    Brisket taco and elote

GO! Before the Texas Monthly blows this place up beyond access!!! Chori-sausage; KILLER, brisket; moist, juicy, delicious, turkey; Smokey, salty, moist and delicious. Everything was wildly good. But the elote hands down stole the show, creamy, Smokey, savory, and surprising served with a slice of lime and a dusting of cotija and cilantro PHENOMENAL! The food came out quickly and the service was polite and on point. The vibes of the location are quaint and quiet. The rockabilly brewery offers a shady space with activities and space for all ages both furry and human.

This place is easy to miss, but it's a must try if you're in the area! We have had their food several times and each time it has been fantastic! Their homemade sides are what sets it apart from other bbq joints in the area. It's currently a food truck on a brewery property, but I'm hoping to see them in a brick & mortar store one day. The workers are friendly and the food comes out quickly. On our most recent visit my husband got a sandwich to go and the workers were kind enough to package everything separately so that the bread wouldn't get soggy. Such a small detail but really made all the difference in service! Definitely will be bringing any friends or family visiting to this spot!

BBQ Fiends in Hutto is my go to place! The brisket is fantastic but the sausage and sides put them over the top.

New delicious food truck alert!…read more The woman working the truck was extremely helpful and friendly. She got out and came to the front to talk to us about what the items on the menu are and asked what we like to eat and gave us suggestions on where to start when we asked what she recommended we order for our first time at their truck. We ended up ordering Masala dosas(crepe-like with masala filling, not spicy, large serving size), Pav bhaji (if you like spicy I definitely recommend this one, it's like a vegetable curry that comes with toasted buns), and the Mango Lassi(a traditional Indian yogurt smoothie). This was the perfect order size for 2 people to share a dinner or one very hungry person. They have decorated their area in the food truck park with plenty of seating with clean picnic tables and lots of hanging lights and plants. It's a very cozy setting and there are places in the shade to enjoy your food right away. I'm really happy to have a Northern Indian cuisine in Hutto and especially another food truck in the "food truck park" that has mostly been empty all year. I hope they stay and we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu soon!

I had a mini caprese salad and the veggie sandwich, added red onion, pesto, shredded lettuce and banana peppers . The portions on the sandwhich were perfect , not too little or too much of anything, bread was toasted just right- one of the best veggie sandhwiches i've had in a while forsure. The mini caprese salad was good but tomatoes were cut a little too large for my liking and possibly needed a little more glaze and basil. We ordered some spicy bomba sauce on the side to just see what it was- it tasted like a buffalo sauce to me. didn't end up using it as the sandwhich was good as ordered. Definitely recommend giving them a try & I can't wait to come back! FYI: seems the roads in the area were just changed as Google maps has us turning left (north bound) onto main st from 79 however it is now south bound only traffic so pay attention to signs- I did report the change to google but who knows how fast they will update.

Just a heads up: there are steps and no visible ramp, so accessibility could be an issue unless there's a back entrance at the same level I did not see. Learned that this used to be a food truck prior to the brick and mortar location. The menu has plenty of panini options (including vegetarian and lighter wraps). We tried the Hello Sunshine (substituted ham for double turkey) and the Chipotle Beef. Food came out hot and fresh. Loved the bread on both. For the Hello Sunshine, it was a good sandwich and I enjoyed it but it didn't stand out in any particular way for me. However, the Chipotle Beef was where it was at. Loved this one, the jalapenos added a nice kick and the chipotle mayo with cheddar really brought it together. Service was warm and friendly. The pricing felt fair for the quality and freshness. They also have pastas which looked pretty good, will try them one day for sure once we have tried the rest of the sandwiches. I'm specifically looking at you chimichurri beef and chicken pesto! 4.5 rounded up.

I ordered the drunken noodles, papaya salad, shrimp spring rolls and beef larb. There were other customers who ordered ahead which is something I should have done. I was really hungry and it took about 25 minutes for the food to be prepared on a Saturday afternoon. They stayed pretty busy with customers who ordered ahead or ordered at the window so that was a good sign. I appreciate the shade they provide over the tables outside so you can enjoy your food. Keep you out of the Texas sun or rain. Food was fresh and hot. The spring rolls were ok. I am spoiled by other places who roll spring rolls tight. The drunken noodles were savory. Noodles were cooked on point and had the expected texture. The papaya salad was fresh and appetizing. I got a spice level of 3, but probably could have kicked it up one more notch to make it spicier. The beef larb was mouthwatering and tender. My little ones fought over the sticky rice. Overall, the food definitely was worth waiting for and hit the spot.
