You can try all different varieties of meat. Once the plate is getting burned, please let them change it for you. Their price have gone up which is still reasonable considering the current inflation.

A 4-person set dinner, great good! We love the seafood pancake and all dishes. The BBQ is charcoal-roasted, very tasty!

I pressed the wrong star, it should be a 5 stars. I love their charcoal BBQ with a private room. It's a great k-bbq experience. The set dinner has more food than the 4 of us could finish. I love the rice sweet soup at the end.

DON'T GO THIS PLACE!!! Our family visited this place for dinner and ordered the all-you-can-eat option, but it was a terrible experience. The meat had a spoiled smell, and the soybean paste stew tasted like plain salted water. When we told the server that the meat seemed spoiled, they got extremely rude and acted like we were the problem. On top of that, they automatically added a 25% tip and then demanded additional cash for the tip at the register. Completely unacceptable. This is the kind of restaurant that really shouldn't be in business. Do NOT go here.

We went here Saturday night as a guest of my sister & her fiancee w/my wife & brother in law. This place was probably a China Buffet as the layout of the restaurant inside is identical. We were all craving Korean Barbecue. In this respect this is what they provide couple w/a self serve Banchan in the room next door. It wasn't cheap. They had 2 options both were AYCE, one was $29.95/person & the other was also AYCE @ $38.95/person. She ordered the more expensive of the 2 options. The tables all come equipped with hot plates where you cook your own meat. There are vertical tubes that pull down directly over the cooking plate to remove any fumes from the area. We ordered a number of different meats that were brought to our table to be cooked by us w/metal tongs & scissors to cut the meat We ordered 2 each of the following dishes * Pork Belly (pure fat not much meat) * marinated chicken thigh * Beef Bulgogi (this was my favorite item) * Beef Short Ribs (not too bad) * Shrimp (mehhh). Don't bring shrimp to a meat fest lol) They had a little 3 tray dish & each spot for dipping the meat. I really liked the sesame & salt BBQ Garden a prime example of a Buffet, by that I mean QUANTITY VS QUALITY. At $38.95/person you kind of expect a higher quality, but unfortunately it was more about quantity over quality. FYI - They put an automatic 18% on the bill for gratuity. Would I go back again? Probably not for the price point verses the quality of the food. In my opinion there are far better Korean barbecue like New Seoul Korean Barbecue in Des Plaines

Today I went with family and friends to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonderful place to have AYCE KBBQ. We did their regular/basic AYCE which is $30 per head. The basic menu had lots of dishes including bulgogi, gizzards, cheesy corn, brisket, pork belly and loads other proteins! The service was good as usual with a call button on the table. I really like how they have side dishes and carbs out for us to grab ourselves since I like to grab my own banchan. They do have ice cream and fruit as well which is delicious after a big meat meal! The ambiance is great for small and large parties for KBBQ.

Was very excited to eat here. Service was unusual , our server comes over three times in the beginning to ask us what we would like and we start to tell her and she walks away. We ordered the deluxe menu. It was OK. The quality of meat was really poor. It looks like an incredible selection but the grade of meat was terrible. They have a huge selection of ban Chan . I was really excited to try it, but to me pretty much everything tasted the same. I had a very hard time with communication. I don't understand when you talk to someone in the service industry and they walk away.

I looooved this place! It almost gives diner vibes but the prices are great and the food is delicious. I went with a couple friends and got the regular ayce deal, which was somewhere around $30 per person. I love that the appetizers are self serve, and I filled up my plate with kimchi, radishes, kimbap, and tons of other delicious foods. Of the different meats we had, I liked the beef bulgogi and samgyupsal the best. Overall, great experience, great food, nice price. I certainly wouldn't be mad if I ended up back here again.

My dad was craving Korean BBQ, so we decided to try BBQ Garden for the first time. Though we knew the location, we hadn't been to this restaurant before. The space is quite large, and it feels like it was once a Chinese buffet, now converted into a Korean BBQ spot. Each table has its own grill and exhaust, and there's a self-serve appetizer buffet with unlimited options. They offer a variety of meats in two price tiers--standard at $30, which we chose, and deluxe at $40. For the price, the meat quality was pretty good, and I'd definitely come back. The service was excellent; they frequently replaced our grill, which was a huge plus. Just a note--the menu mentions an 18% service charge, but it's well-earned given the attentive service.

It was my first time at BBQ Garden. This restaurant is great if you want to get seated and eat fast. There's a ton of seating, I can't imagine there ever being a waiting time. There is a self serve sections for the side dishes, soups, and ice cream. It's like a buffet where you grab a plate and grab whatever you'd like. There was a great selection of side dishes. We ordered a good amount of different meats. The only meat we liked was the brisket. The quality of the other meats weren't too good, but was edible. Corn cheese was yummy! You receive it in a hot plate, so it stayed hot. Customer service was great. There was a lot of employees around, we never felt like we had to wait for a long time. They work so fast and get you everything right away. There's a lot of competition in the area for AYCE kbbq. I would only come back if I am really hungry and wanted food asap. This place isn't terrible, but not in my tops for AYCE Korean bbq.

Can't wait to go back again . Love a local Korean bbq that surprises you and this place just did that . I went here for a party of 12 people and they were able to accommodate they did call so try calling ahead for large parties . The side dish dish buffet was everything it has all the sides you ll need to accompany the delicious bbq . The waiters and staff were so kind always making sure we had everything we need and replenish all the drinks including soju. Can't wait to go again !

Ayce Korean Bbq, worth while! This place is big a lot of seating. It's self serve of the unlimited sides. It's clean and service was okay. They offer a lot of unique protein options like beef intestines and chicken gizzards, which I liked a lot. We had the standard option that was good. For dessert they have fruit and a soft serve machine. The ice cream from the soft serve machine was not really good. Come on an empty stomach.

Ask the Community - BBQ Garden

Do they offer a non-buffet option? IF so, will they allow a table with mostly buffet eaters to have one or two people not eating the buffet?

There are non-buffet options for lunch. (Don't know about dinner.) All members of the party have to be AYCE buffet or non-buffet.

    Does this place accept reservations?

Yes but usually u can just walk in. They can accommodate large groups too.

Does BBQ Garden offer AYCE? Asking for a friend :)

Hi there! I went there recently and noticed that ayce is now a menu option! $24.99/person for their standard/dinner option.

The redecorating and ambience was modern and sleek, with fully operational and clean water features. Grills were gas-operated, one grills there own meat items here. I really liked the natural-stone mini-subway style tiles on the walls. Like a lot of Korean places I have seen, the seats had minimal padding. I think this would be a great place for a date if you're in the area, a prize in an unassuming strip mall anchored by an auto parts store. Food was great, they happily and generously provided more banchan and also gave us complimentary bowls of soy paste soup that was practically jumping out of the bowl. As civilised as I tried to be, using my chopsticks and the cooking tongs correctly, I still felt like I completely stuffed my face like at a trough '^_^ it was all so good. Maybe to accommodate the neighborhood, the banchan was not nearly as spicy as we expected, so that might be great for someone trying Korean for the first time. Some might balk at the prices of some items, such as $24.99 for 1/2lb of raw meat, but we had a very enjoyable time and hope to come again.

I found Tang Korean and the soups were delicious and exactly what we were looking for! Two of us had the sellongtang soup --oxbone and tendon -- and the other had the beef rib soup. Soups were served in clay pots so they stayed hot. All were delicious!! There were noodles in the soup and they were very generous with the tendon meat, which was impressive. The soups came with kimchi and rice. I loved my soup because it's not oily. Instead, the broth is silky and the tendon melts in your mouth. The white broth is the result of 22 hours of simmering until all the nutrients come out of the bone and flavor the soup. (That alone --I mean I could make it myself but all that time and effort, I'd rather come to this restaurant!) Also, the collagen is so good for your skin and hair --and the soup is truly so delicious! Keith is the owner and he made sure to check on us and see how we were enjoying the food. I mentioned that I noticed the waitress eating her lunch and it looked like Korean sweet and sour pork. I asked if that was on the menu. He said it's actually chicken and no they don't serve it on the menu. But then he went back to the kitchen and brought some out for us to enjoy anyways. That was nice. It was delicious too! A 5/5 experience. I definitely recommend this place!

We ordered the following - prices were a bit high overall: - kimchi fried rice: the cheese made this nice and savory and this was the best bang for your buck because of the portion - galbi: pretty tasty but small pieces - chicken feet stew: this came out cold so we had to send it back- they had forgotten to bring out the portable burner that comes with the dish. Otherwise this was very spicy (which I liked) and a big portion - bossam: my favorite dish. Lots of sides that came with the pork belly, which was great because none of the other dishes came with banchan or kimchi. Rice is usually an extra cost, but the server gave it to us complementary during this visit. I'm glad I tried a lot of dishes and had tasty Korean bar food! I'd recommend giving it a try.

It also comes out with kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi), regular kimchi, a dipping sauce for the meat, and salt to season the soup to your liking.
