I originally called to just purchase several parts for a Fire Magic grill. However, the company's policy is to first make an appointment to determine what needs to be done. I was hesitant, at first, to do this vs. just buying the needed parts. I was so wrong. The cleaning process was over the top! New splash pans and igniter unit also installed. Individual doing the cleaning was thorough and handled the very messy job without leaving a mess. For around $400 I have an almost like new grill with new parts and in working order....and VERY clean. Good customer service and results always gets 5 stars from me!! read more

On 1-4-2021 BBQ Repair Pros charged me $402.99 to clean my Lynx BBQ plus some parts. Then on 1-5-2021 I noticed that the BBQ lights were not working. I called BBQ Repair Pros and was told that moisture probably caused the lights to not work and was told to just wait a couple of days for the BBQ to dry out and that the lights would work. I waited , however the lights still did not work....this happened ONLY AFTER BBQ Repair Pros cleaned my BBQ !! I called BBQ Repair Pros again and on 2-5-2021 they sent out the same New Technician to resolve this issue....who told me that additional parts needed to be replaced to make the lights work at an Additional Cost. Then on 2-17-2021 I used the BBQ for the first time and the lights worked however , the BBQ lid does not close on the right front side letting heat out. Today I opened the BBQ and found that The New Technician had only installed 1 of the 2 Springs to keep the Lid down. This really surprised me as The New Technician told me that he had replaced BOTH SPRINGS and I had even told this Tech person that I have 2 new Springs that were just bought from Lynx !! Obviously I will not recommend this BBQ service. read more

So I had BBQ repair pros come out to repair and clean my BBQ. Everything was great and I would have given them five stars overall. But I am dropping one star because the first appointment that I had with BJ, the owner, he no showed on me. We had a 4:00pm appointment last week and I didn't hear from him until I called at 4:45 and he said he was stuck in San Diego. It would have been nice to get a courtesy call so I don't have to sit around and wait. It was a bad first impression. But once Kevin, my technician, came out today everything was smooth sailing. Took about 3 hours to deep clean the BBQ and do a repair to my burners. Turned out great. Can't wait to get some steaks on the grill! read more

BBQ repair pros came over 4 weeks ago to do a deep clean and to fix a gas leak. They did a good cleaning job, patched the leak and everything was fine. A few days later, I started noticing a lingering smell of gas again. I was disappointed and called them again. Now this is where the 5 stars are getting justified - they came over the next day, checked their patch - and located a second leak. They spent 2 hours taking the grill apart and fixing it, were apologetic that it wasn't located during the first visit (who expects two leaks in different locations?) and finally charged me: Nothing! I find that pretty nice and impressive, I can only recommend using them. read more

I called BBQ Repair Pros to see what could be done for our much in disrepair 15 yr. old Viking Grill. The thought of spending up to 7K for a new one, well that's a lot of money. BJ came out looked over everything with me and told me what did need repaired, what we could get by with as is, and what didn't need anything at all. BJ also took the time to explain what everything was, what it did, which burners went to what etc... after 15 years I learned I had a built in smoker tray and a warmer! I received what I thought was an excellent bid considering the amount of work and parts needed to get our BBQ in grilling shape. An appointment was made for the following week to start and complete the job. When I got home later in the evening and took a look at our BBQ I couldn't believe my eyes, it looked brand new. I now have igniters that work, all my burners work, the plates beneath the cooking grates were replaced, they were in VERY POOR condition, and I have porcelain cooking grates that my food won't stick to any more. We ended up having to shut down our BBQ for the summer due to a gas leak that developed between one of the valves and burners for our BBQ. I have a Weber Summit grill that is about 5 years old. The grill was filthy and reflected years of grilling and sitting idle for 6 months due to winter and the rainy season. When I tried to start her up, the propane connector on the grill failed. I called BBQ Repair Pros and they came out the same day. I thought their pricing was high. However, their service man spent 5 hours in the hot sun as he tore the grill apart, meticulously cleaned every inch of the grill, and made the repair. The grill looked almost brand new.
