I ordered the beef rib, 1/2 pound brisket, large mac & cheese and large mashed potatoes. The brisket was a little dry. The beef rib was $60 and while it was super tender and had a lot of meat, I probably will not get it again any time soon. Mashed potatoes were very good. My kids liked the mac & cheese, I didn't care for it. Cost me $126 and was able to feed 2 adults and 2 small children. My friend and I finally tried BBQ Station and I'm sure glad we did. We were greeted by all the friendly staff. Niko explained to us some improvements made due to the fact he pays attention to his patron's reviews. He explained how they use good quality meats. We got the station tray, which is the same price for lunch and dinner, at a reasonable price. Beside it all tasting so good, it was plenty to eat for us. If you're a bigger eater you can add to it. The restaurant was very clean and decorated to make it welcoming when you step in. Good food, pleasant atmosphere and staff, I'd say give it a try. You'll like it too. read more

I thought I'd come in today and buy some BBQ for my wife and daughter as a surprise dinner for them, well I was the one who got a suprise because the prices are pretty steep. I ordered a 1/2 pound of pulled pork. 1 Small side of Mac and cheese. 1 small side of green beans and 1 large mashed potatoes (they were as good as my homemade mashed potatoes) came with one roll which was just ok. Total $58.45. The staff were very friendly. The line to get food was a little slow and unorganized which is understandable since its only the 2nd day opening. I know the prices are on the menu board right in front of you, but I thought $14 dollars for mashed potatoes was a bit outrageous, but decided that I'd eat here this one time and may not teturn. I understand that running a business especially a restaurant in this economy is gonna be tough. One more thing, the way they have their BBQ sauce Station set up is very slow if someone is in front of you the counter is very small and theres only room for one person and the lids and containers are very hard the remove from their holder, they should have those sauces behind the counter and ask you which ones you'd like to save you some time before your food gets cold. read more

Well, I tried it! But, would I go back, Is the question? Probably NOT! We went at 6pm and they were already sold out of brisket, house sausage and buns. The pull pork was dry, chewy and had lots of fat. You pay by pound so having fat added to your bill was no fun. And they slap it down on a piece of construction paper with a cafeteria tray and call it a meal. The sides we ordered were potato salad ( it was ok) and queso cheese and chips ( that was good). we wanted to order the beef rib but when they pulled it out of the warmer, we saw that half of it had fat on it and a big huge bone. Again, it's bought by the pound so, it would cost us $60 for one big fat /fatty rib. No thank you. The atmosphere was bright and kinda like a "cafeteria style". The stools didn't spin so you felt kind of trapped in your skinny stool. It was very "in and out burger" restaurant comfy. With a very high price. The service was OK everybody was new but there's no waitresses. It's like a cafeteria line so you go up in the counter and order. First your sides and then you order the salads and then you order the meat. I think the salad should've been before the sides and then the meat Because while you're waiting for your salad, your hot sides are getting cold. It was a little crazy on day two and there was a lot of confusion behind the counter too, but they were kind. Would I go back? Hummm! Ordered beef ribs @ $22.00 + sides, I know ribs aren't cheap so was giving it a go. All they had was a dry looking small rib but still wanted to try. The rib bone was bigger than the meat portion and told it would be over $42. for just the rib before side. Told them forget it, that was ridiculous. Parents brought me here for a bday lunch. Ordered the beef brisket taco plate. Tacos were delicious, however it came with a side of chips. They can definitely do better with the chips. I did not like them. They are yellow round corn chips just like the ones you get when ordering nachos from a snack bar. Went with friends for late lunch. Didn't have to worry about finding a place to sit, we were the only ones in the restaurant. That should have been our first warning. Ordered ribs but my friend got the last 4. Middle of the afternoon and they were out of ribs. Really! Settled for the brisket, my husband got the pulled pork. We each had two sides and a drink. Oh, and the complementary roll. $88 for our meal, our friends had an extra side so theirs was $90. Our food was only luke warm and not too flavorable. Good thing for the BBQ sauce station. Definitely not worth the expensive cost. The staff spent more time visiting the soda machine and filling up their personal cups. Not once did anyone stop at our table to check if we needed anything. While we were there only one other family sat inside to eat. Won't be going back, especially at those prices. I'll stick with Canyon City BBQ for great food and service at a much reasonable cost. Read other reviews about this place and it confirms my skepticism about Yelp reviews. BBQ Station has very good BBQ but most of the reviews I read expected low-level BBQ like Lucile's or Dickey's. The Station does very well with its brisket. It's the real deal, close to that of Franklin's in Austin, TX (the gold standard). The pork ribs were decent but it felt like an afterthought as ribs are more a southern thing. However the pulled pork was pretty good. Some reviews criticized the high prices but good brisket is not cheap and the smoking time ain't free. It's self-serve like a cafeteria so don't expect "service." One needs to know something about real 'que before criticizing an establishment that's trying to be authentic. This place has my support. I hope it can survive in Glendora. read more

So, I waited for this restaurant for about 1.5 years and it is not as good as I expected, plus they have a humongous smoker in the back. The service was great they were laughing. The ambiance is ok, it just looks like a Texas Steakhouse. The food on the other hand though isn't as good as you would think. The smoked Salmon fillets were great, very tender. The Brisket is definitely not the best thing on the menu, it's definitely one of the tougher meats at this restaurant, it doesn't have much fat. The pork and beef ribs are great but they're so fatty, the max you could eat is probably 3 ribs. The sides are ok the bread rolls are humongous, the mashed potatoes are very creamy and has a slight smoky flavor, the veggies are ok not grilled enough though. read more

This is our second visit and we just love this place! The food is straight outta Texas! The sides are delicious and fresh (try the mashed potatoes, mac, and the to-die-for queso). The meat is so good! Meaty not fatty! Juicy and delicious! Ask to see the smokers if you have time! So very impressive as is the owner's knowledge and excitement to share his passion! In my 60 years I've had so so bbq, good and great bbq. BBQ station is none of these. The food very little taste as it is not slow cooked for hours with rub or sauce, so there is literally no signature flavor. just salt and pepper. Hell, I can do that at home! Cafeteria style means no wait service. This is the only bbq joint I have ever seen where both the pulled pork and brisket are DRY??!! 3 pork ribs are $30 plus dollars. A fisftfull of dry Brisket is $18.00. Beware, They're gonna recommend portion sizes for you while you're walking down the chow line without telling you how much the cost of the items are. They do not serve bbq chicken! only Turkey. My wife reports that the Salmon was also flavorless. She only ate 2 bites. All in all we spent $107.00 for a meal without drinks that I wouldn't and didn't fed my dogs. Ambiance was a combination of wanna be and overly brightly lit neon bar and a diner, very odd. It was tender, great flavor, cooked perfectly! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and sweet! It's clean and worth going to! I do agree with one other review. I wish they would adjust pricing. It's too hard to know what you're paying until you pay. Everything is separate per pound or size. I have also been to barbecue places in Texas and they give you a price for so many meat choices and sides. I was surprised that it was so expensive ($200) but they do use excellent meat and quality ingredients!!!! The sides are delicious!! We will go back but knowing it will cost extra. Let me start by saying I'm so bummed that this place is a bust. I was so looking forward to having a good dinner place in town. But this place for me is a one and done I'll start with the cost. Holly Crap it is so expensive. The sides are $16 for a medium which they consider a large. It will feed 2-3 people. A Cesar salad $16 again they say it's a large but only a bit bigger than a side dinner salad. The meats range from $35-$40 a lb. So just with 3 sides and meat for a family of four will cost you $175 with no drinks. I normally wouldn't really care about the cost but Brisket was very dry and pork ribs had a lot of small bones or cartilage in it. Both of them lacked in flavor. For this much money go to Northwoods you will be so much happier and will really enjoy your food. Plus you will be waited on. If this place wants to succeed here they better start rethinking their prices. It is a total ripoff read more

I've been waiting for a year this month for this restaurant to open. I've been a chef in the restaurant in the industry for over 25 years and I'm well-versed with different styles of food. I live in Glendora and which we really don't have too many quality restaurants here so I was really looking forward to this place opening up. It was around 5:30 when I went in to place my order. First thing I saw was the corn of the cob that was completely dried out, for six dollars an ear that I can get from the $.99 store for $.50 each and do it right on the grill at home. The brisket was dry. The baked beans were supposed to have had brisket blended with. It didn't have a whole lot, also I was charged eight dollars for a small size instead of seven, which is also ridiculous. With a side of vegetables at 8 ounce cup of beans and a half a pound of brisket. I paid $40.86. I do realize that the price of meat is through the roof but I also feel with the way the economy is I feel that this restaurant is going to have a difficult time. Keeping his doors open. The sides areridiculous high in price. I would think that with this restaurant just opening, they could've rotated out the dishes with fresh product to ensure the quality would be high since they just open their doors.
