I've personally trained my previous dogs, and while they were good dogs, they did not clone close to the level of the professional training. Not inexpensive but a great value and worthwhile investment for a family pet you can trust and rely on. The facility is top notch and all the dogs there looked happy and well cared for. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a more professional and quality dog boarding and training facility on the Wasatch Front.

Jake was the trainer that spent the most time with Jagger and there are only positive things to say about him. He sent many videos of Jagger and his trainings. My kids loved watching them while Jagger was away, and the videos are also great to look at while continuing his training at home. In the videos we could see all the praise and care Jake gave to Jagger and that was so reassuring to know that he was in good care. For an extremely reasonable monthly fee (which is even cheaper if you pay annually), you get to take as many classes as you want. Three-four different classes are offered a week in varying locations. Andrew was so great with my dog, and was calm and helpful. My dog improved dramatically overnight (she is mainly just overly excited to see other dogs). Types of classes currently include Canine Good Citizen test prep, open practice, trick training, and pack walks. So far the class size has been small, which is great.

We were told she had one "not serious" abrasion, but upon picking her up and seeing her, we took her to the vet due to severe swelling at the site. the abrasion is abcessed and required veterinary attention to lacerate and drain, get antibiotics, and pain meds. She also has multiple other abrasions that we weren't informed about. She lost nearly 10 lbs during her stay at rush lake. We contacted them to see how she was mid trip, and it took over 5 days (4 business days) to get a response.

On 06/10, I took my 11-year-old Great Pyrenees to another vet (beware of Utah Veterinary Hospital) because he was limping and had a swollen foot. I thought it might be something like a foxtail, but they barely looked at his foot and told me it was hip dysplasia and that his foot might just be swollen from laying on it. That I shouldn't worry about it. They told me to come back in about 10 days for X-rays and bloodwork and I scheduled a follow-up for 06/22. My dog just kept getting worse and by 06/17, he could barely walk. I called my other vet to see if they could get me in earlier and they said his pain was "to be expected". I decided to get a second opinion, and Country View was able to get me in within a couple hours. The difference was obvious right away. They actually took a good look at his foot and immediately said he likely had a fracture or an infected wound. They did X-rays with anesthesia, ran bloodwork, and found and treated an abscess in his foot. They cleaned and drained it, and sent us home with antibiotics and probiotics. They also took the time to show me the X-rays and explain what was going on with his hip dysplasia and what our treatment options are, which I really appreciated. On top of all that, it ended up costing less than what I had been quoted at the other vet for just X-rays under anesthesia and bloodwork. I'm really grateful for how quickly they acted and how thorough they were. It made a huge difference for my dog and just a day later he already seems so much better. I definitely recommend Country View Veterinary Hospital.

Zero follow up as to what next steps should be. Never heard anything after that. Kitty still has diarrhea but much worse. I was told if ever there was an elevated situation, to bring her in during business hours. Since they aren't an animal hospital and do not offer after-hour care. I did that today, it with the most absurd display of empathy (more of a patronizing tone), the office staff just said how utterly sorry they are that they close soon and cannot see her. Could have billed a higher rate and provided medicine. You didn't and your staff and overall experience, even the doctor here was underwhelming, no sense of urgency or valuing their patients' concerns. Even the first time we had an appointment it was so very nonchalant. I get it and understand, but after my experience here both times. I'll never come here again and I'll never recommend them. Zero follow up. No care plan, nothing. They sure enjoyed that $200 (not expensive) though. I can only imagine when more serious medical issues with pets arise, and their reaction is likely terrible. The level of care here is poor. If anything, invest in acting lessons to make people believe "you're so so sorry", because that is the reason more than anything for this terrible review. In addition to the lack of follow up and care we received on the first visit. Not just for this poorly timed medical situation for our expensive pure bread BSH. They also didn't record the breed correctly on our medical records. Truly, this office doesn't care about their work and an embarrassment to other veterinarians. I shared my story with a few other veterinarians and they were shocked. Being frustrated and expressing that is not "emotional abuse" Hannah, the Office Manager tried to blame me for their shortcomings and poor management. Your office did a poor job in the entirety of our interactions. We will never come back or recommend your business. Avoid this place. There are better options available in Utah County!
