Choose your Acai Bowl size and option and all the toppings are at your choices after that. They also have an extra-small choice which I've never had the option of in any other Acai place. One of my favorite places to visit. Their gurana bowl is my favorite. It's topped with blueberries, banana, coconut, granola and I add peanut butter. It's delicious. The staff are always friendly and helpful as their menu choices are abundant. It's mainly a take out place as there's only a couple of tables and not much of an atmosphere. Covid-19 Concern: This place only takes online orders and the people inside of the cafe will pretty much ignore you if you didn't order online. I wish I knew about this b/c I was pretty stupid standing outside of the cafe trying to order a tropical fruit bowl on their website on my phone. Açaí bowl and smoothie: Honestly, I have had better açaí bowl before. This place is just alright. The fruit they use were frozen and the toppings are very generic. It was $9 bucks for a small açaí bowl. We also tried their smoothie, which was A LOT OF BLENDED ICE. Since it was pretty cold that day, we just waited for the ice to melt a bit before drinking it and you can see the water/ice separating from the dense blended fruit on the bottom. So honestly, I guess it was a cup of overpriced ice after all. I saw a lot of people going in and out at this place, the parking is convenient and easy, so it is a place for a quick fix but if you really want to have a good quality bowl of açaí, I suggest to go somewhere else. It isn't fancy and overpriced like some of the trendy acai bowls in SoCal! It's just a yummy taste of frozen fruity goodness! Get the mini size! You'll save yourself like a dollar and it's honestly big enough to fill you up (unless you're super hangry or famished)! Even though it's by the beach, they have a full parking lot! If the front lot is full, there's a ton of parking in the back. During Covid, they are doing phone and online orders only so make sure you plan ahead! Also I've tried to order 2x at different times during Covid and they have been randomly closed for renovation, so I'd call ahead to double check they are open! But I have gone a few different times now and it has been consistently bad that I would not go for awhile and then come back hoping it was just an off day. But no still bad. I paid over $16 for a regular bowl with bananas, strawberries, peanut butter, and coconut shavings. The base itself is a weird consistency, it is similar to a smoothie and is somewhat soup like. Again, cheap ingredients. Skimping out on the amount of my "one free topping" by giving me half a banana? Even the granola tastes cheap. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone!! Should mention the last time I came was about 2-3 years ago and have routinely driven out of town to get açaí at Ubatuba since, they have some incredible açaí for a great price. I come here at least once a week, and I never get a hello or acknowledgment that I'm even present. I have to start the conversation and they look at you like "why are you even here." Yesterday I ordered one and I found pieces of hay/ wood in there and it literally scratched my throat going down. I called them to check what could have happened and was hoping for an apology or a refund and he told me that it was the granola. I know how their granola tastes like but I didn't want to argue. There's been drastic improvement in the service here so that's a plus! & my bowls have been consistent in the thickness, not too watery & definitely more like the smoothie bowl you imagine it to be! Also, the amount you get is more consistent. I used to get a load of toppings with only a little bit of the açaí, like mid-way of where the logo is.
