Choose your Acai Bowl size and option and all the toppings are at your choices after that. They also have an extra-small choice which I've never had the option of in any other Acai place. One of my favorite places to visit. Their gurana bowl is my favorite. It's topped with blueberries, banana, coconut, granola and I add peanut butter. It's delicious. The staff are always friendly and helpful as their menu choices are abundant. It's mainly a take out place as there's only a couple of tables and not much of an atmosphere. You select one of three sizes with the regular being the perfect portion for two or one hearty meal for one. I went with the Peanut Butter acai bowl ($12) since these make for an incredible combination. Bowls include granola, bananas, and either honey or agave (the latter is my preferred vegan option), and I added on strawberries for an additional kick in fruit content. The acai blend was fantastic and the toppings made the bowl effortlessly delicious. I was able to finish it all by myself and believe me, it was hard not to have it all in one sitting. I wish I knew about this b/c I was pretty stupid standing outside of the cafe trying to order a tropical fruit bowl on their website on my phone. Açaí bowl and smoothie: Honestly, I have had better açaí bowl before. This place is just alright. The fruit they use were frozen and the toppings are very generic. It was $9 bucks for a small açaí bowl. We also tried their smoothie, which was A LOT OF BLENDED ICE. Since it was pretty cold that day, we just waited for the ice to melt a bit before drinking it and you can see the water/ice separating from the dense blended fruit on the bottom. So honestly, I guess it was a cup of overpriced ice after all. I saw a lot of people going in and out at this place, the parking is convenient and easy, so it is a place for a quick fix but if you really want to have a good quality bowl of açaí, I suggest to go somewhere else. Hands down best acai bowls in the South Bay! It's the best because you get to really build your own bowl with the base and toppings you want! They have a ton of unique blends that I've never seen anywhere else like Apple cinnamon (which is dank). Next on my list is the Caribbean (coconut and pineapple base). It isn't fancy and overpriced like some of the trendy acai bowls in SoCal! It's just a yummy taste of frozen fruity goodness! Get the mini size! You'll save yourself like a dollar and it's honestly big enough to fill you up (unless you're super hangry or famished)! Even though it's by the beach, they have a full parking lot! If the front lot is full, there's a ton of parking in the back. During Covid, they are doing phone and online orders only so make sure you plan ahead! But I have gone a few different times now and it has been consistently bad that I would not go for awhile and then come back hoping it was just an off day. But no still bad. Low quality ingredients (such as JIF peanut butter, if not, something strikingly similar) and high cost. $2 for any topping, that includes something inexpensive such as coconut shavings!!! Should mention the last time I came was about 2-3 years ago and have routinely driven out of town to get açaí at Ubatuba since, they have some incredible açaí for a great price. Let's just state the clear differences between them and other places. 1) They don't use ice as a filler. 2) They always have fresh and ripe fruit to top the bowls. 3) The açaí mixture taste amazing, plain and simple. 4) I freaking love the granola they use. Yesterday I ordered one and I found pieces of hay/ wood in there and it literally scratched my throat going down. I was shocked when it came out, but somehow I was able to eat it all. I also tried the apple cinnamon which was also really good. If you like cinnamon you should definitely try this out.
