The açaí was a bit runny tho, and we got it as soon as they made it. We also got two smoothies, the Strand and Hang Ten. The were also kind of runny. The blended base just tasted fresher and more flavorful without being overly sweet. There wasn't much granola in my bowl so that bummed me out a little but the bowl was still amazing and was packed with tons of fruit on top! I would definitely eat here again. Maybe ask for extra granola next time. The Whitberry blended base sounded like a lot but as I was eating it, it just tasted like a fresh smoothie with everything going well together and no single fruit overpowering another. I've been to Paradise Bowls a handful of times, but mostly when I'm at the beach. Pretty small place so there's really no way to eat the bowl inside considering how crowded it gets sometimes. I recommend taking the bowl to the beach. This last time, I got the Peach Bum, which is a blend with açaí, strawberries, peaches, banana, & coconut milk. It's topped with banana, strawberries, coconut, granola & honey. It's pretty good! The blend is not as flavorful as some other açaí blends that I've tried, but it was pretty good! The door was still open, and all the staff were standing up front in the kitchen--so I walked in. But instead of helping, they just said, "Sorry, we're already closed." If your hours say 6:00pm, then customers should be able to order until 6:00pm--not be turned away 10 minutes early while everyone's still clearly there. I get that staff want to go home, but cutting corners like this is frustrating for loyal customers who make the effort to get there on time. My wife and I were in the middle of a 6 mile walk from Manhattan Beach to Hermosa Beach and back and wanted something like ice cream as it was really hot out. We saw these two young ladies enjoying what looked like ice cream and asked where they got it and if it was good, and they told us where to go, which was about a block away. Paradise bowl is a small store with only one bench and a high table but it's standing only. I love eating a healthy breakfast and this is what I would love to eat on the daily. It feels healthy and tasty at the same time. I ordered a small Guava sunrise which is blended açaí, peaches, mango, banana and guava juice. On top of that, they put banana, strawberries, granola, and honey. Portion size was already really good and I completely enjoyed my bowl of yumminess. The thing is it might be a little expensive for people to eat coming out around almost $10.00, but I felt that the fresh fruits were worth it.
