I'm from the area and never seen it since it's tucked away in a small area with no visibility from the boulevard. The workers were welcoming and talked us through the menu. The vibes were nice as r&b played in the background. Water Ice is one our favorite treats so coming here was extra sweet. We decided to share a large and get Banana mixed with Pina Colada. A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN RITA'S!!! My husband and I just visited this water ice shop for the first time and I am blown away at how smooth, fresh, and delicious the flavors are. I got their mango, peach, and watermelon scoops and WOW - everything was immaculate, especially their mango flavor!! My husband was also very impressed by their non dairy creami ice flavors which consisted of vanilla, salted caramel, and chocolate. We look forward to visiting more often since Rita's is usually a let down and overpriced. My friend, China, raved about Beach Towne Water Ice, so we all got together and met up on a Saturday evening to finally check it out. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by the wonderful staff. Ms. Val was especially amazing. She helped us figure out which flavors to try and let us sample practically every one lol. Every single flavor was just as delicious as the last! At one point, she even created a mix of different flavors for us to sample, which was such a fun touch. I ended up getting a 10oz cup with Orange Creamsicle, Margarita, and Passion Fruit and it was the perfect combination. The texture was like a creamy, smooth snow cone, but even better. A definite 10/10! I also love that they offer pup cups, which is such a thoughtful addition for anyone bringing their dog along. Beach Towne Water Ice is definitely a must-have treat this summer. Beachtown Water Ice - My Sweet Spot All Summer Long No matter how many flavors they offer, I always find myself going back to my ride-or-dies: watermelon and margarita. Something about those two together just hits every single time--refreshing, smooth, and full of flavor. I've tried other flavors too--bubblegum had a fun throwback taste (though the texture was a bit different), and cotton candy was super sweet and dreamy. But now I just found out they have chocolate and salted caramel?! Yeah... I'll be back. Probably tomorrow. The service is phenomenal every visit. The owner was there this time--a super friendly gentleman who made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. Honestly, everyone who works there treats you like family... and sometimes even the customers do too. There's a new water ice place in town, and you know I'm here for it!! It's off Rosemont and Virginia Beach Blvd in the shopping center behind Burger King. When I walked in there was a line. It was moving, but I definitely would say don't come if you're in a rush. The owner was nice. She was the only one working so I think that's why things were moving a little slow. But I didn't mind! She thanked everyone for their patience. There's a good amount of flavors to choose from and a few options of other items. The small is $8.50 and you get 3 scoops of any flavors you choose. The large was $10.50 and I think you get 6 scoops. I thought I wanted the large but small was just enough to fill me up. There are a couple tables inside. They also have different merchandise for purchase like shirts and hats. It's a cute little shop. I got creamsicle, cherry, and vanilla cream which is dairy free. It was really soft and creamy and delicious. There was good flavor in each one. My daughter got blue raspberry and sour apple. She seemed to think it would be like a snow cone with all the syrup at the bottom of the cup. But it most certainly is not. She did enjoy it though. I've been back many times since my initial visit and I just love it more and more each time. This last time, they made me their pumpkin spice special and it was so heavenly and delicious. The staff is always so friendly and the shop is always so cute and clean. I love that you can try samples too, if you're just unsure about a flavor or two. This is a unique eating experience for eating something that is not a shave ice. This water ice is very smooth and melts in your mouth. The difference between this and shaved ice is that water ice always has flavor till the last bite while shaved ice loses flavors while it melts and ends up just being a colored ice.
