Aaaalmost as good as my mama's.... Bitchin biscuits is a tiny little blender with a cute, small patio offering outdoor seating. Grab a menu when you get in line so you can review it and be ready to go by the time you get to the counter because there's almost always a line. They have a nice array an arrangement of goodies made with biscuits gravy and all the accoutrements. The biscuits are light and fluffy and gravy is nearly as good as my mom/what I make it home so if you're not in the mood to cook for your car on vacation, knock yourself out. It's a pretty good value for your dollar and the quality is top notch. read more

Parking: Street, public, paid I am disappointed by my experience. The reviews were promising. I have had a lot of biscuits and gravy, including McDonald's breakfast item on the east coast. The gravy was not hearty. It was creamy and lightly salted with sausage chunks but it just wasn't hitting. It was more like a chowder with chunks. Other reviews said portions are huge. THEY WERE SMALL... People are deceived by the biscuit size. It was maybe a small ladle of gravy and two large biscuits. I ordered the pirated cove, $7.25 for two biscuits and three eggs. disappointing!!! It came out quickly but it wasn't even hot. I had to get extra gravy on the side which was $2. all in all, i would not come back. Don't disappoint yourself if you like biscuits and gravy read more

Quick service. You go in through the door on the right to order & pickup is outside at the window to the left. I ordered a vanilla iced latte and the biscuit with the honey butter and the strawberry jelly. The jelly was house made & so good. Very vibrant red/pink color The honey butter was good too. Tasted like real honey, not store bought. The total w tip was about $11. The biscuit was fluffy & delicious with a harder outer layer. Really huge. I even shared a few bites w my husband. read more

A+ for the biscuit. But honestly next time I'm just going to get butter and jam. A good biscuit doesn't need much else for me. Being a self professed food slob, the low tide was still hard to manage, and the biscuit kept crumbling apart when I tried to add the eggs. They have decent coffee too. I really like the funky and unique digs on price street, so wander around this block sometime when you're in Pismo. Service was prompt, vibe was chill, outdoor seating only and street parking. read more

Every time we are in town this has been one of our must stop restaurants. It's a very small spot. Only go inside to order or buy their t-shirts other items. All seating is outside in a small patio space. We were going to try and finally eat their. Then it became very windy. We decided to take back to the house like we usually do. Had this place before a few times and loved it. I was really looking forward to a breakfast sandwich before work. When paying for the meal it came out to $15. I couldn't even pick up the sandwich because it completely fell apart by just looking at it. I could have gotten a comparable or better breakfast sandwich from McDonald's (which I hate) for a fraction of the cost. Very disappointed. All the prices are out of date online and should be updated. read more

My husband is always in search of , the ever hard to find, delicious plate of biscuits and gravy. His criteria usually includes the right amount of sausage gravy to biscuit ratio. The biscuit has to be nice and fluffy as well. Beachin' Biscuits definitely met his satisfaction. What an amazing plate of biscuits and gravy! Well done! We had takeout from here and it was amazing! I had The Portuguese burrito and it was massive. It had the right amount sausage to cure everything the beer truck hit me with the night before and the people we talked to on the phone were great! I recommend giving it a shot and if you want to eat in its right in the center of beautiful Pismo Beach. Can't get any better! read more

Ate breakfast a few weeks ago and the food was cold to lukewarm. Gravy doesn't taste great when it's not hot. We figured maybe they were very busy and food didn't get called out in time and maybe it sat for a bit. We decided to give another try and get biscuits to go. I am 5 minutes away so hot biscuits were expected but instead the biscuits were cold and already getting hard. A few mists of water and low temp in the microwave made them soft and hot. This shouldn't need to be done when buying fresh hot biscuits. I was raised on biscuits and gravy and the gravy is crappy, no flavor and cold. As a local this should be a wanted place to go but instead it's disappointing. read more

We had an early morning start and decided to wander over for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were delicious. According to my husband, it's the best he has had outside of the South. There was no line and our food was done within 5 minutes of waiting. I wish I had realized how big they were since two people can definitely share one order (Pismo Pier or just one biscuit with gravy), but there was plenty for our family of four. i fffreaking love biscuits and gravy and this place is so good. i usually just get a pirates' cove with one biscuit - cause one biscuit here is equal to three everywhere else. i'm not sure if they stopped serving chai but if they didn't ... please do yourself a favor and get an iced vanilla chai. it tastes like a liquid sugar cookie. sooo decadent and good. the perfect way to top off an equally decadent breakfast. the employees are also so sweet. i bring my dog a couple times and they always give him a little treat. the best! read more

My family and I made a visit here on our way home, we came when they opened and I was a bit iffy on coming here because I heard the wait is a very long time. Fortunately, there was no line and our food took less than 10 minutes to receive! They have a lot of items on their menu to choose from if you're not a fan of biscuits. Personally, I am not really a fan of biscuits but I was told to just give it a try! So I did. I ordered the Pismo Pier and my goodness, the biscuit is HUGE! The meal was very hefty for me and I couldn't finish it. The biscuit itself was good and so was the gravy. Would I get it again? Probably not, but it was nice to give it a try. My brother got the Pismo Pier with Chorizo and I enjoyed his more than mine! But they did skimp out a lot on the chorizo which I was upset about since it was an additional charge. It was nice to give this place a try! I would definitely come early because as soon as we were leaving it was getting very busy. read more

Quick service this morning. We enjoyed the Pismo Pier. Yummy, fluffy biscuits covered with delicious sausage gravy topped with scrambled eggs and shredded cheese. Biscuit lovers rejoice. For those who don't love biscuits they offer a delicious avocado toast, French toast, oatmeal and fruit etc. A drawback for me is that the do not offer fountain drinks but they do offer tasty coffee drinks. Looking forward to their move in August to a bigger location. Maybe dine in seating as currently it is only outdoors or to go. We are repeat customers and the food is always consistent. read more

Perfect start to our morning after we watched the sunrise at the beach. This place is definitely a gem and the smell of coffee and fresh biscuits is irresistible! I went inside ordered the Breakfast Sandwich , which had egg, cheese & added bacon and of course a fresh cup of coffee. The service was quick and there's plenty of outdoor seating and you can bring your dogs. If you are in the area definitely stop by because these biscuits are so soft, fluffy and buttery , you definitely will not regret it! read more

Beachin Biscuits in Pismo Beach was founded in 2018, born from the owner's passion for cooking for others and a desire to share homemade, nostalgic dishes. The restaurant's concept centers on high-quality, consistent comfort food, rooted in the recipes the owner grew up with. Building on this foundation, the business expanded with a second location, Butter + Milk Biscuit Bar, in Visalia, California. They also introduced a food truck to serve the Central Coast and are preparing to open a new location in Atascadero. On our first visit, we got iced coffees, and they were great. For food, they offer pastries, Belgian waffles, avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast burritos. I haven't personally tried the food yet, but everything I've seen coming out looks really good. On this most recent visit, we tried their affogatos, and they did not disappoint. We both went with vanilla, and it was exactly what you'd expect. The espresso was made fresh, and the balance between the hot espresso and cold ice cream was perfect. Seating inside is limited to a few bar stools, but if you walk just outside and around the corner, there's a breezeway seating area with comfortable chairs and a nice coastal breeze. Chilaquiles were delish with a perfect spicy kick just as Chilaquiles should be. ( Not a fan when you order chilaquiles and no spice is added to them, that's always a let down), but these were perfect! We also tried the ricotta blueberrie pancakes, so good. Salmon bagel with hard boil eggs and greens was tasty and fresh. My kids loved their pancake kids plates. We would love to stop here again the next time we are in Pismo. Thanks for a great breakfast!

The poached egg was a little over poached (not runny at all), but still good. We order our hash browns extra crispy and they came out perfect. My wife had the Golden Flame Chicken Sandwich and is was good, but not spicy at all. She was hoping for more spicy, so she added Cholula hot sauce to the chicken. Still looking forward to trying other options on the menu. Next time. Cheers!

I think it was good we skipped the cream cheese frosting since it was super sweet. The roll itself already had sugar and cinnamon and was good. Also, got a hot chocolate. We didn't mind the wait (8 am to 9 am) since we plan to stay all day and night to see the fireworks.

Cobb salad was spot on , chicken was warm and freshly grilled and tasty. I eat a lot of cobb salads and hate chilly pre cooked chicken that doesn't taste fresh. Woolys was awesome, we ended up coming back for breakfast burritos when we left town and they were really good also. Can't beat the views and the food is legit, well done !!

They definitely don't short cut on servings sizes enough to share and they keep the restaurant moving because of all the tourist will definitely eat there.

I also got a paloma drink which came in a big pint glass, didn't expect that! Cocktails usually come in a smaller glass so you're definitely getting bang for your buck here. The cioppino might be the best I've had in recent memory, if not the best. The seafood was fresh (probably sourced from the ocean in central coast). The flavors were on point. Everything was amazing! There were 2 gigantic scallops in there, I don't think I've had scallops that massive! The clam chowder was also delicious. My husband enjoyed the fresh shrimp on his salad. Overall, we were very happy with the meal and would totally be back! Another plus, service was super friendly and attentive. 10/10!

Note that the parking lot, depending on which day you go, can fill up very quickly. The location is right off of the 101 and easy to find. We checked in and was seated within 10 minutes at a booth that overlooked the beautiful views of the Pismo Beach coast line. Our server, a younger black woman, who told us her nickname was 'TiTi', if I'm not mistaken, was wonderful. Her personality and hospitality was infectious and exceeded 5 stars. She brought us fresh hot corn and flour tortillas with a small cup of brown sugar butter and three different salsas to try. Everything was delicious. We ordered the surf and turf special which was a jumbo shrimp on top of a filet mignon that rested on mash potatoes and a creamy/savory white sauce. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. Everything was exceptionally good. My only takeaway would be that I found the food, especially the lobster Mac and cheese to be pretty salty. Definitely excited for my next visit.

Catch of the day was sea bass with a few veggies and rice. Definitely not special. The flourless chocolate cake was dry. Overall a very underwhelming dinner. So sad. Probably not going back.

We spent a gorgeous Monday afternoon here grazing on appetizers and enjoying the sun. The food was light and refreshing specifically the bruschetta and the calamari. The staff made us feel right at home, which is why our "one drink" turned into a four-hour stay. It's cozy, upscale but down-to-earth, and easily one of my new favorite spots in Pismo.
