I did a door dash delivery from Beachside Seafood and the restaurant smelled so good I got dinner there the next night. I was a chef for 15 years and got out of the game when Covid hit, but I still judge restaurants harshly as someone who knows the business. I'm also a life-long beach bum and have annoyingly high standards regarding seafood. This place far surpassed my expectations. The open kitchen allowed me to see how clean and organized the back end is. The staff is incredibly friendly. And the food...The food was even better than it smelled. I got the #9 with spicy garlic butter and a hush puppy appetizer (with remoulade) and everything was flawless. When it comes to low-country boils, this is by far the best place in town. And while it was a solid $40 meal, it's crab and lobster--it's always expensive, but there was so much food that $40 was a steal! Perfect scores from me on all fronts! We ordered almost $200 worth of food to see the variety of what Beachside Seafood has to offer. The seafood were dry and the snow crab legs were salty and bad quality. The twin lobster rolls were the worst as it is mostly stuffing and has very few bits of lobster meat. All the lobster rolls we've had elsewhere were 100% lobster, but you are lucky to get 10% meat here. We ordered the gumbo as well but they forgot to give us the order and I've been calling back many times in the past week to get a refund and the manager Diamond keeps telling me that she would refund the gumbo and call me back but never did. It's only a small amount so it's not about money, but it's about principle. Bad food and bad business. read more

We had a horrible experience. As soon as we sat down the waitress walked up asking what we wanted to drink. She said let me take off the godd*** mask so I can talk... in front of my 3 year old & 13 year old. I was blown away. She seemed to be on drugs of some sort. She brought our drinks and the CO2 was out on the machine I tried to explain it to her and she didn't understand at all. She kept bringing us different sodas. We could hear her and the cook talking about us.... I am a bartender I know when co2 goes out lol it wasn't a big deal. We ordered and the oysters were really good and the hush puppies. Ya'll... if you want great seafood, this is it! It's tricky to find, with a closed Pizza Hut obstructing your view, but the dinner combinations are great. I was kind of amazed at how great this place was. I'm one of those people who wonders about restaurants in a "strip mall" but I'm quickly learning better. The atmosphere was nice enough, but the young lady at the register started our visit off right. We'd never been there before and had honestly too many questions, but she went above and beyond to answer and was so friendly the whole time. Her patience led to us making excellent choices and we had an excellent dinner. My friend got the shrimp and grits, which were in the top 10 of the S&Gs I've had. I got the shrimp boil and added an amazingly good value $10 lobster tail. Our plan was to get two entrees and share. I was shocked at how good everything was and how much of it there was for the price. The garlicy buttery goodness they put on top of stuff was awesome. Even the corn and potatoes in the boil were great. Both entrees had tons of shrimp, and then, lobster! Beachside Seafood- N. Indialantic- 1.5 Stars This restaurant was very very very close to making the Big Boy's Top Five Worst list. I went here thinking it was an extension of the Seafood restaurant across the river. Apparently, the new owner bought out the previous owner after one month and decided to besmirch the reputation of that other fine establishment. I ordered the lobster and shrimp combo. They also had deviled eggs sitting in a display case next to the register. I ordered 2. Sometimes as I am eating things I wonder to myself, "did the cook taste this before putting it out?" Apparently, the answer is no. I consider myself an aficionado on deviled eggs. If someone serves em I get em. These were the blandest most unflavorful thing I have ever tasted. Zero zilch nada nothing. It was just a lump of yellow paste. The funny thing is this was BETTER than the main course. The main offering consisted of a bare minimum amount of over cooked shrimp and baby lobster tails that were served in an aberrant garlic sauce that tasted made with shortening instead of butter. There was no redeemable features about this meal. Big Boy says skip it and drive over the causeway. read more

Very casual, order at the counter, establishment. It was clean but nothing special for atmosphere. Nice outdoor seating area we'll try if weather is good. I had the shrimp combo, my hub had shrimp and scallops combo. Both of us were impressed with the flavor of our seafood and of the sausage, corn, and red potatoes. This place was a nice surprise. The raw oysters we fresh and popped with a nice sea brine. My lobster and shrimp boil was excellent. My wife got the fried shrimp and I have to say they were the best fried shrimp I have ever had. It had a thin beer batter coating that was almost translucent. My daughter got the fish and chips. Hostess said she'd be with us in a second, a second turned into 10 minutes. The hostess ignored us as she walked by multiple times, and we ended up having to ask again to be seated. The food was pretty good, too bad it all came out at different times. One member of our party never got his food and ended up leaving without eating. Third visit and brought the friends...all loved it. Fish dip and Grouper sandwiches got 5 stars but the real star of the seafood show was definitely the seafood boils. Choose your favorite seafood, toss in some corn, potatoes, sausage and spices and you have a meal you could share...but why not simply enjoy it yourself with the reasonable prices! . Ok. Met some family friends and after reading the reviews I was excited. Started with the lobster bisque. Flavorful but not that hot. Warm actually. Could have used a little more lobster too. The oysters were obviously shucked ahead of time as the were a little dry on top. But nonetheless ok tasting. Had the mussels and I will say they were good and a huge portion. Another i our group had the poached grouper. Flavorful but a small portion. Lost in all the rice. Too much garlic on everything. Understand they are "low country garlic baskets etc" but garlic is a seasoning not an entree. Snow crab clusters were large and the special of Shrimp Cesar salad was well received by our party. Our hosts note that the prices had gone up and the shrimp size had shrunk. Not sure if they are going off pieces or weight for serving size. The interior is small and a large party took all but three tables. on a Friday night not too cool to do or allow. Place got slammed and I saw him shucking fresh oysters. We wended up squeezing around a smaller table to free up some of the space we were taking up. Staff was friendly and they were moving with speed and purpose. Not sure I would do this again. Will have to try a different night to see if that makes a difference. read more

I've never been a big fan of boiled seafood but this changed my mind. Perfectly seasons in butter garlic sauce-- so delicious!! Got a couple of platters to share and we all enjoyed a filling meal! The kids loved getting to eat crab legs, shrimp, lobster etc (so rare because it's usually so expensive!) If you're in the mood for good seafood, casual atmosphere (this place was perfect casual after just coming from the beach) and a fair price-- this is the place! If you're looking for "fancy" seafood, or a menu with variety-- this probably isn't. Seafood station does what they do--- and they do it better then anyone (boiled seafood meals). read more

We got the oyster sampler (good if you like cooked oysters, but the raw ones were missing?), cheeseburger (kids seemed pretty happy), crawfish (not up to Louisiana standards but pretty good with all of the garlic butter they came with, and it's still early in the season), shrimp with several different dishes (some were deveined, some weren't?), lobster bisque (okay at best), crab cakes (probably wouldn't order again), mussels (tasty), and hush puppies (also tasty).
