This unassuming place in a strip mall was surprisingly really good. My son's girlfriend loves it and always spent birthday dinners there as a young lady. So off we went. The owner who is a lovely man warmly greeted us all. We had a fantastic server and an incredible hibachi chef. Every shrimp he tossed hit its mark in every man's mouth! You know that was the chef's skill and not those guys with their mouths wide open! Yum yum sauce was good as were all the entrees. I will say the shrimp were pretty much dried out because of way too much time on the grill , but the filet and chicken were tasty. I am used to telling the chef's in my home town when to pull off my shrimp and steak, but they know me and I didn't want to offend anyone. Lots of celebrating going on. This is the most inexpensive lunch hibachi restaurants I have ever been to. I see why it's so popular. I also like that they do add egg to the fried rice. For some unknown reason, lots of places don't do that anymore. read more

Hibachi is one of our favorite meals and we have had been to places all over the country and on cruise ships. This experience was just so so. Our table mates were all pleasant which is always a good thing! The salad and soup before the meal was good. Everyone noticed that they don't make the fried rice at the table, it was already made. That is the first time I have ever seem that when eating Hibachi. Also they did all the main food and then the vegetables. Totally backwards. The chef had no garlic or sesame seeds on his cart. Both standard seasonings at every other Hibachi place I have eaten at. The portions were small but the food was good. The waitress never asked anyone if they wanted dessert. read more

Great Hibachi style restaurant. Very cool drinks on the drink menu I always recommend getting the Volcano. For extra bonus points ask for no ice. There's nothing cooler than a giant oversized glass with a Volcano in the center that has a flame on it while you sip the alcohol around the outer edges. Hibachi style fun level is heavily dependent on the chef that you get. Today the chef was very fun, had jokes, Did a good little show, I kept our portions fair. He was good about asking again once he got there if there's any food allergies even though it should have been written down on the receipt it's always better to confirm twice and cut once. The food at hibachi restaurants always seems to be about the same. They all have the delicious yum yum sauce. Steak is cooked on a flat top instead of an open flame. The veggies and everything is cooked on the same flat top which is the way I prefer to do it on my black Stone as well. And the one thing you'll see at every single hibachi restaurant is The Onion Volcano. If there's no uninvolcano I'm actually offended. Had the chicken and shrimp hibachi and the food was overcooked. The entertainment was marginal and I will not be coming back.

We came here since we were looking for a habachi spot with sushi. We were sat within a few minutes of getting there. The place is really big with lots of habachi grills. There is also an area to just sit at a table. Our waiter was really nice. I was out of water and never got a refill but I didn't ask so that is on me. The sushi was good but definitely on the smaller side. We got a spicy tuna roll, I've had them many times and this had a lot of tempura filling and wasn't really spicy. It was good though! All the sushi was, again, just smaller pieces of fish compared to the rice. None of us were a fan of the ginger salad dressing. It was very bland. The soup was just broth with a few pieces of onion and mushroom. It was very bland. We got chicken Habachi and steak habachi. It was good! The kids steak habachi was good, they actually asked how we wanted it cooked so it wasn't over cooked. I've never been to a place with carrots? They were sweet. They were given first. The veggies were onion, zucchini, and mushrooms. The chef who cooked was nice as well. Overall, it is expensive which we knew going there. The sushi was good but smaller fish/rice than usual. We would probably order to go in the future. I would rate it a 3 because it honestly just fell short all around flavor wise. We were there at Fujiyama on Thursday March 5, 2026. The food was cold, as though it had been cooked earlier in the day and then just put on plates after we ordered. All four of us sent everything back and they just reheated it. Warmed up fish is not very good. Very disappointed and since we were taking out guests it was a let down. Not worth the trip! Found this local spot for hibachi style meals. The location gives you the option to be seated at hibachi table or a regular table for ordering from the menu. The owner seated us and was very friendly. To start we had a monster roll and a beer. I was so entertained watching the cook I forgot to take pictures. We had the filet mignon that came with glazed carrots and fried rice. The portions were huge and enough to take some home. This is not authentic. Fried rice is pre made even though you sit at a hibachi table. Fried rice contains frozen peas and carrots- Japanese fried rice does not have peas nor carrots in it. They give you glazed carrots?? I don't know what that is about. They had apparently just had their vent/hoods (that hang above the hibachi tables) cleaned, however, grease was dripping down onto the table, onto our plate of food and it dripped onto my shirt which is now ruined. No offer to pay for dry cleaning, no acknowledgment that is is gross to drip onto your food. The manager got some sort of a rag on a mop head and reached above our head to wipe it off, which made it even more unsanitary. As I was walking in they (manager and someone else) were at the coy pond in the lobby and the water was so low it didn't even cover the fish completely. This place is dirty, inhumane, not authentic and a true shit show. Not recommended at all!! A grilled cheese at home never has sounded more delicious! read more

Our Sous Chef name was Rubin which was wonderful and had charming character about his cooking. The ratio of food was amazing and enough to take home for later on tonight. It was our niece birthday dinner for this event. We had 16 people in our group so we had to get 2 Sous Chef to help us quickly. They do accept reservations for large parties. They have an amazing staff that came out to sing to our niece at no additional cost. The restaurant does have a bar that has enormous amounts of drinks to choose from for an after work drink before dinner. They had a couple of desserts to choose from for the evening. The decor was beautiful and up to date not looking old at all. I was a little disappointed because they didn't have noodles nor broccoli. I go to plenty Japanese restaurants and every single time I've had noodles with my Hibachi dinners for the same price but this restaurant was different. Hello Fujiyama This past Saturday we came for dinner with two other couples. Total of six and took a table rather than the hibachi table. We were looking forward to a nice quiet leisurely dinner. We were doing well and ordered our individual meals and that is where the problems started as follows: First both the soup and salad were served at the same time. Together. Then before we had a chance to enjoy the soup and salad, the dinner entrees were brought to the table. It seemed to be in a rush to get us out. We were in and out within 45 minutes and as a result did not enjoy the entire experience. Actually it left us very very displeased. Not a good way to encourage repeat business. My favorite restaurant in this area hands down. My family and I are regulars for about 3 years now, and they have not disappointed even once. Staff is super kind and tentative, really cool atmosphere inside, and my absolute favorite sushi of all time is made specifically from this restaurant only. Let me start with the hibachi carrots which seem to have mixed reviews; they're pretty tasty. I've never had carrots like these at a hibachi before, and I suspect that I would not find them anywhere else. They are sweetened just enough to highlight the natural sugars in the veggie. I was surprised that my usually anti-carrot family members also enjoyed them. If that's not an endorsement, I don't know what is. The fried rice was my favorite part of the meal. They put Yum-Yum sauce in it while it cooks which is what is missing when I attempt to make fried rice at home. I'm totally stealing that. The rest of the meal was also good. I enjoyed my steak and scallops (which were real scallops contrary to what some other reviewers say), but I'm not sure how fresh they were. They may have been frozen, but they were good enough. This spot always seems to be busy and for good reason; the food is good, the service is good, and it's fun. It's not really special as far as American-style hibachi restaurants go, but it is a nice place to go for an occasion that you want to make a little more special than it is. We went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration. We had reservations and they sit us at the hibachi table very quickly. The waitress was nice. The salad with ginger dressing was ok. The soup was not very good. The cook was funny and the kids had a great time. He did an "onion stack" and set it on so we can sing happy birhday. It was very fun and original. They served sweet glazed carrots that were very delicious. The rice was great. The steak was ok. This was our 1st time at this eatery. They were very accommodating with our late request for reservations. We had the filet with scallops and the lobster with scallops. Everything had good flavor. The chef put on a great cooking show at the hibachi grill. My only criticism is that the shrimp appetizer, scallops and lobster were seriously overcooked. Most go to Fujiyama for the hibachi (which personally I love too!) but the sushi boats and Saki choices are the best option for myself and my husband. We LOVE SUSHI! But because we love it so much we are very picky! They never disappoint. Now the boats are always an eye full and we do enjoy letting the chef get creative so it's always a surprise. Who doesn't love surprises, right? They have a more simple approach to presentation but it's always FRESH and the bar is very calm with great dim mood lighting and a 360 view of the rest of the restaurant while still keeping the feeling of privacy. read more

We came out to celebrate Father's Day. We had a party of 6. I was shocked that we were able to make reservations. The other half of our party was 15 minutes late. As soon as everyone was present we were seated promptly. The service was great, drink orders arrived promptly. Our chef was very funny and our food was delicious. I ordered salmon and shrimp. Went for dinner here with close friends for the first time. Our friends had been here before and suggested we try, we're glad we did. An incredibly large restaurant, we had our own table to ourselves. The ambiance is loud, with all the cooks and patrons going, but it was still conducive to conversation and a few good laughs. Both my wife and I had their emperor's dinner, while I tacked on some sushi as an appetizer. The entire meal, from the salad, to the rice, to all the shrimp, scallops, steak, lobster, and the cooks entertainment - it was very good and full of fun. The only nit was the soup - more watery than flavorful. The rest of the dinner and experience easily eclipsed this one minor item. Though my wife and I hold the other hibachi place in town very close to our hearts - this will be a nice place to make some new memories at. read more

This is our goto Place, it gets crowded though. The staff are very efficient and fast. Only gripe and why not a 5 star, it can get dirty on the floor, chairs and restroom sometimes. However, I am hesitant to say this because I don't want the secret out. We usually sit in the bar area. You can receive the same menu as the hibachi just without the show, and I believe it might even be cheaper. The food is extremely good especially the carrots, which you must order and will not disappoint. The kiddos will even eat them. Best part for me is the yum-yum sauce and I always ask for extra.
