A real true hidden gem! Parking can be a bit tricky but they have additional parking on the side of the business. I would consider making reservations before coming. The food is fresh n so good. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about signature dishes. For a group of 3 with appetizer, drinks and 3 entrees it was around $180. I had the pork chop and our app was the warm crab dip. I would also consider checking the weather before going, they don't have much shelter in the event it rains. Overall the ambiance is nice, you're able to walk down n hang out by the water

Our server was wonderful, so knowledgeable and attentive. The food was great. I got the early bird special, which was a great deal!

A Masterclass in Waterfront Brunch I was looking for a great brunch spot on the water, and The Brevardian more than delivered. As someone who grew up on the water and close to New Orleans, I have a very high standard for seafood. This kitchen doesn't just meet the bar; they raise it. The Food House Smoked Fish Dip: This was a refreshing departure from the traditional "creamy mushy" dips. It was full of bright flavor and, most importantly, didn't drown the fish in mayo. Using the house-made kettle chips as a base was a great touch. Crab Cake Benedict: This dish was understated but incredible. The crab cakes were nearly all crab with very little filler--a rare find. I have to give a huge "Bravo" to the kitchen for not drowning the eggs in sauce; the remoulade was perfectly balanced and, honestly, better than my mother's! (Don't tell her!) Caramel Pecan Cheesecake: We finished with this for dessert. It was decadent, rich, and definitely a shareable portion. The Drinks My mother enjoyed the house Chardonnay, and I opted for their signature cocktail, "The Brevardian." It was impressively smooth and balanced. You didn't get a sharp hit of bitterness from the bourbon or an overbearing sweetness from the fruit; the flavors just meshed perfectly. The Verdict: Between the view of the Indian River and the "scratch-made" quality of every bite, this is easily one of the best spots in the area. If you value "Contemporary Old Florida" cuisine where the ingredients are the star, this is a must-visit. Shout out to our server Neil who was exceptional as well!

Another visit, another great dining experience at this cozy riverfront restaurant. The menu featured seasonal options, which we appreciated and ordered from. We ordered the Winter Scallops and the Grouper Rockefeller. Both dishes were top notch. Others at the table ordered the Mojo Seared Grouper and Grouper Risotto and loved them. Don't skip the House Smoked Fish Dip, it's the perfect starter. There was a small hiccup on an order at our table but it was quickly corrected.

Edible, but not pleasurable. It was our first visit and we were so looking forward to dinner there. The really great points were the ambiance and great service. The restaurant is located on the riverfront, which was beautiful. However, when you sit outside, the flies come when the food is served. They have fans at every outside table to deter them, but our fan and several others, were not working. Jadyn, our server, was wonderful. She was pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable. The filet mignon was smothered with a peppercorn sauce that took away from the meat taste. The mashed potatoes were not hot, and the asparagus had no flavor. The Smashburger had just an ordinary taste and not something we would go back for. Our friends, however, did love their seafood platter. Perhaps they are better known for their seafood dishes. I always give a second chance, and will return to sample their seafood.

The service was outstanding! Our server was so knowledgeable and friendly, I would go back just because of him. Okay, the food was so very delicious, we would go just because of that. Combine the excellent service, the delicious food, and then if you have a party of four, make reservations and ask for table D11 and 12. Combine the food, service and pretty much your own private dining room, it is an experience to dine here. We will definitely be back.

Super nice riverfront location. Great views. Food is very upscale. The host and servers were fantastic. Started outside in the evening and there were a lot of mosquitos but got moved inside due to a table opening up. Inside is all updated and has a great atmosphere. Tasty drinks. Seafood chowder was very good. All the seafood was amazing. Ordered a steak which was cooked perfectly. This is a great romantic spot. Oysters were very fresh, highly recommend. Great experience and we will be back.

Brevardian Riverfront is a must visit! First off, the location is hard to beat. Sitting right on the Intracoastal, the views alone set the tone whether you're planning an elegant date night or just a casual evening out. It strikes that rare balance of feeling special without being stuffy. The menu delivers across the board. There's a strong focus on fresh seafood, but plenty of land-based options as well, so no one feels limited. Everything we tried was well-executed and flavorful. Inside, the space is eclectic in the best way. It's cozy, charming, and full of personality without feeling overdone. You can tell there was intention behind the design, and it adds to the overall experience. Outside is still cozy despite the open air ambiance. There's a two level patio area complete with an outdoor bar. Service was another highlight; friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive without hovering. The staff made great recommendations and kept things running smoothly. The only reason this isn't a full five stars is the wait time for the food. There was a noticeable delay, and while the staff was upfront about a backed-up kitchen (which happens), it did interrupt the flow of the evening a bit. That said, everything else--from the atmosphere to the food quality--was spot on. Even with the delay, we left impressed and will absolutely come back

OMG WOW! If I could give this place more stars I would and if I wasn't married for over 25 years I would marry this chef!!! Our waitstaff Taylor was amazing! They had an accessible table right on the patio overlooking the Indian river! They started us off with homemade seasoned chips and a smoked cream cheese dip (complimentary). My husband ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell to begin. We then ordered the salmon with the most incredible Gruyère grits I have ever had with my husband ordering the filet with scallops. He loves scallops and was thrilled they came with the filet as usually it is paired with shrimp. The ambiance was a cool evening with low lighting on the table and a great atmosphere of soft music in the background. Gorgeous October night to be out having an amazing dinner on the river. Great food, great location, and great service! Thank you!!!

This was my second time visiting Brevardian Riverfront, and my first time coming for brunch -- and it did not disappoint. I ordered the shrimp and grits along with a lavender lemonade, and everything was delicious and well-balanced. The shrimp and grits were flavorful and comforting, and the lavender lemonade was refreshing without being overpowering. The riverfront views were absolutely spectacular and made for the perfect Sunday brunch setting. Despite it being a busy brunch with friends, the service was attentive and friendly. Brevardian continues to be a great spot for good food, great views, and a relaxed but elevated experience. I'll definitely be back again.

When trying to find a place for brunch, I was looking for a place halfway between Orlando and West Palm Beach as a good meeting point for my family. We were going to be celebrating my birthday - and that's when I found Brevardian! I wanted to go to a place on the water and so I made a reservation for the patio! I am so glad I did - my birthday brunch was perfect!! We even got to see some dolphins from our table! Upon arriving, we were seated right away - and the original table we were sat did not have any cover from the sun, but they moved us by the bar and it was perfect. I made a reservation for 10 people and we were all very comfortable. Our server Lisa came over - and she was FANTASTIC. She has such a cool personality and she really made our experience amazing. She had great recommendations too! We ordered the mimosa flight, which came with a bottle of champagne and 3 different juices (cranberry, orange and fruit punch) and assorted fruits on a board. I had never had a fruit punch mimosa but now I'm a huge fan! For food, we all ordered individual entrees (instead of the buffet platters) and nobody left anything on their plates!!! The food was AMAZING. I originally ordered the Cuban Breakfast, but unfortunately she came back from the kitchen to let me know that they did not have any ropa vieja :( but that was okay - I ordered the shrimp & grits instead.. and that DID NOT disappoint. My husband and BIL ordered the Steak and Eggs. They both loved it! And the rest of my family ordered the Ole Florida Skillet. Like I said, everyone left their plates CLEAN. The house sausage was really really good! Then, I was surprised with a small sampler of their desserts! Lisa brought me a key lime pie cheesecake with a toasted marshmallow on top, a chocolate cake with a pretzel crust, and a raspberry creme brulee! All three were incredible! That was really nice of them to do! We all had a really great time, and again we want to thank Lisa for making it such a great experience for us, and a great way to celebrate my birthday!

The customer service is always so friendly and fun. The patio is by far our favorite beachside patio. And the live music is SO GOOD! They mix it up and keep it fresh, so it's always guaranteed to entertain. We continue bringing all our out-of-town guests here, over and over - and T&T has become one of their favorite places, too! So glad this business and the owners care and invest in keeping it the best beachside bar!

Third visit to Tide & Tonic. Third bad experience. Unfortunately, there won't be a fourth…read more The first two times I came in, I sat at the bar for roughly 20 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me, much less taking an order. Both times, I finally gave up and left. Tonight I decided to give it one more try. It's beachfront, it's a beautiful location, and I really wanted to like this place. I ordered the salmon, which was around $30. It was so dry I couldn't eat it, and it tasted freezer-burned to me. The sauce tasted manufactured rather than fresh, the rice was fine, and the green beans were completely bland. I took essentially one bite and stopped eating. What made it worse was the service. My virtually untouched dinner sat in front of me for several minutes without anyone checking to see whether everything was okay....even though the restaurant was not remotely busy and appeared to have plenty of staff. I also ordered a spicy skinny margarita, which was surprisingly syrupy-sweet. I drank it because I wasn't about to let perfectly good tequila go to waste, but it wasn't a good margarita. To their credit, when someone finally came over and I explained that I couldn't eat the salmon, they removed the entrée from my bill. I appreciated that and think it's important to mention it. But three visits tell a story. Twice I couldn't get served at all. The third time I finally got served, but the food, cocktail, and attentiveness were all disappointing. For a beachfront restaurant at this price point, I simply expect better. Great location, enormous potential, but based on my three experiences, I won't be back. The best thing that happened tonight was meeting a fellow writer sitting next to me at the bar. Unfortunately, Tide & Tonic can't take credit for that. It gets a 1 star as bartender was so very sweet about it all.

Worst part is that my significant other was right next to me. Also, let's start with the service. The only thing the that was bad about this dinner, Besides the ruining of the surprise was that the server was absolutely horrible. It took her about 30 minutes just to start us off with water and it wasn't even busy. After she came back with the waters, it took her another 30 minutes to come back to take our order. I'm a very observant person so I would see groups of people come in and they would get their food before us. That's crazy. Anyways, after another 30 minutes, the waiter came to take our orders. We all knew what we wanted cause we were already there for an hour. About 20 minutes later. Our food comes out and two people order was wrong. We tell the lady and she said she's gonna get it fixed 10 minutes ago by and the person just ends up eating whatever they were given. Overall worst experience ever never coming back. Busy, but not too crowded, bartender was excellent. Started off with a vodka martini (was going to order oysters). Ordered the beet salad to start and it was huge. Roasted beets, tomatoes, and blue cheese w/frisee lettuce was very good. Next appetizer was the fried green tomatoes. Huge, crispy and lots of them. Crab meat and remoulade on top was just right. They had imported oysters from New England (Wellfleet) so ordered a 1/2 dozen to go with my martini. Excellent presentation and taste. Next was the peel and eat shrimp. Big and not overcooked. Highly recommended and will go back next time I'm in town.
