    Iced Sunset Tea
    Samantha C.

This place is ADORABLE. But blink and you'll miss it as the outside decor doesn't stand out too much. Make it inside and you've stepped into a funky cafe with a super fun menu that makes it hard to choose from. Three words: iced-sunset-tea Saw it on the menu with no description underneath. I must have been feeling lucky because I didn't even ask about it. I just ordered and and when I got what I actually ordered I was in awe. Not only was this iced tea stunning with a unique display of ombré purple into orange, it just tasted like a summer sunset. It was stunning. Sweet, but not too sweet. There are several seats where people can sit to work or chill with a friend, but it's not ginormous. The vibe is super chill and this was such a great find in LIC. Last, but not least, I ordered a BLT and although not anything particularly unique, I would say this traditional BLT hit the spot and was just what I was looking for.

Customer service is always amazing the vibe is great especially in morning great place to start your morning and the ice chai is amazing

We order lunch from here at work. It's a cute family business. This is my second time having it and i must say they do not disappoint. They have lunch specials. I got soup and sandwiches. The first time i got lentil soup when i opened the cup it looked a little bland . Do not let your eyes deceive you. That soup was delicious very flavorful. This time i ordered chicken noodle. Omg!! It felt like my Puerto Rican grandma made it lol the flavor, they use tri color pasta and wow it's amazing. The sandwich i ordered i forgot the fill name but it's the chicken with pesto. I had it both times i really enjoyed that sandwich full of grilled white meat. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because they don't deliver. But we still order and pick it up. Definitely worth it

yum! rlly solid breakfast spot , i recommend grabbing some bites and picnicking by gantry park! the food: i got the spicy tuna wrap and BLT bagel with egg. the wrap was filled with crunchy veggies but a little mayo heavy, next time i would love to try one of the sandwiches as a wrap instead! the space: fairly small, only a few seats the service: kind!

Good for a little snack I ordered the toast with avocado egg a little bit of cheddar cheese and I got a whole wheat bread instead of the sourdough!

I love love this place for lunch and breakfast!!! They have really great prices at this location. Its pretty small so it more of a grab and go place. The coffee prices on specialty items are priced good. $5.25 for a pumpkin off menu spiced latte. I tried an item called the Thanksgiving sandwich. Make sure you ask for extra cranberry. I definitely will when I order them again. The sandwich has turkey, bacon, onions, cranberry, cheese, lettuce and tomato. So much flavor but it was a little dry due to a small amount of cranberry sauce. My go to for breakfast is their Sunnyside up eggs with cheese, bread, potatoes and tomatoes. I always ask for the cheese on the side so its not thrown on the eggs. Dipping the bread in eggs is so delicious. Pickup is super easy and everything is done in fifteen minutes or less. When I order for delivery its under 30 minutes. I order from them a lot so its nice knowing I will not bite into a shell, unlike other places in the area.

I used to roll my eyes at those who would spend $10 on avocado and bread...well, today I've turned that ship around! This is...quite possibly...the best thing I've ever eaten! I would spend $20 on this - it's so fresh and the egg is cooked to perfection - couldn't believe it stayed in tact via delivery!!! I also made a slight change to my order and Beanstalk was super accommodating! So long bodega breakfast sandwiches, hello guilt free healthy deliciousness!! Cannot recommend enough!

If you want a quick, clean, delicious, tranquil and low cost breakfast or lunch in Long Island City, definitely check out Beanstalk Cafe! I ordered the Overnight Chia Seed with Mixed Berries which had a fresh and delish vanilla flavor topped with thinly chopped strawberries and blueberries. I added an everything bagel with a side of cream cheese and an "Espresso Frappuccino" with soy milk. My whole body and soul feel refreshed by the happy and calm vibe and the excellent home cooked food. I would totally come back here. Special tip--it's right by the "G" train for those of you visiting.

Had one of the best salads of my life at this Long Island City Restaurant: so fresh, great combo of ingredients and dressing. Fun little place with cool decor and a small bit of seating. Our server was extra friendly and talkative. All made for an outstanding experience.

Most Asian…read morerestaurants in this neighborhood are fancy sit-downs, so it was exciting to see a quick, casual stop for Asian "finger food" (for a lack of better word) within my vicinity. Joju specializes in modern Vietnamese cuisine, serving meals like bahn mi, loaded fries, and rice meals. The menu recently added soy garlic wings, and since I am a fiend for Asian-style fried chicken, I of course had to have it. While all of the beverages looked tempting, especially their non-alcoholic soju refreshers, I needed caffeine to offset the afternoon slump that was about to follow, so I ordered a Vietnamese coffee. The wings were huge! It was notably crunchy, saucy, and juicy. There was a decent skin to meat ratio, (I so hate biting into a mouthful of breading), and the meal came out piping hot. It was clear the chicken had been fried per order. Those who know me know that I can't live without rice and would eat it with almost any meal, including fried chicken, so I did request it on the side, although the wings don't come with it. The man who took my order did me a solid and served it with mine, anyway. Good lad! I've been wanting to try Vietnamese coffee for a while now, and it was everything I imagined it would be. Sweet with a bitter backend - but not too bitter! I'm still new to coffee, and I pucker up at anything too intense. This was just right. My meal at Joju satisfied me, mind, body, and soul. I hope it is here to stay, and I hope that a shop like this is a catalyst for other quick Asian food stops to follow. Korean and Filipino restaurants - I'll be waiting!

There was a line, of course, there always is, and the wait was longer than what we were willing to endure for fare as simple and as common as a sandwich. It was worth the 20-minute wait. We ordered the Milano special, packed with cold meats, tomatoes, pickled peppers, cheese, and lettuce between two soft sesame rolls. It looked magnificent. It tasted magnificent. It was a sandwich to rule all sandwiches. I'd brave the line for that any day.

Proscuitto burtata (amore) - fresh fresh fresh and quality ingredients. The proscuitto was perfect along with the burrata, arugula and balsamic glaze on ciabatta which was sweet mix. We were deciding on this one and the proscuitto tomato but we are glad we got this one! 2. Chicken caesar salad wrap- I think I could easily say this is the best caesar salad wrap i've had. The dressing was light and not overpowering with the mix of the chicken, croutons and outside wrap was a truly stellar combination. Very fresh and wasnt soggy one bit. the cookies: small black n white cookie, rainbow cookie and chocolate sprinkle and all were hits! my favorite was the black n white because the icing melts right off the soft cookie texture and tastes more like a cake than a cookie. There are a few locations, but I decided to visit this one because it was the most convenient for getting to and from home. I got there around 7:00 PM, which felt a little close to closing time since Google said they close at 9:00 PM, but it wasn't busy at all. In fact, I was only the third customer to place an order. I ordered the La Summer sandwich and added pesto. After sitting down and taking my first bite, I immediately understood the hype. Without a doubt, this is one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. I'm not even a huge sandwich person when it comes to subs and deli meats, but everything tasted incredibly fresh. The ingredients paired together perfectly, and you could still taste each one individually. The only thing I'd change next time is the meat. I had no idea prosciutto was a type of ham, but honestly, it didn't even taste like ham to me. It was sliced paper-thin, slightly salty, and worked surprisingly well with everything else. Next time, though, I'll probably add salami just to see how it compares. Overall, this sandwich was a solid 10/10, and I will absolutely be back--whether it's to try a different sandwich or, if we're being honest, order the exact same one again with salami added. I will say it's on the expensive side, but that's New York City for you. Apparently, all of the ingredients are flown in from Italy. After tax and tip, I paid a whopping $28 for a single sandwich. That said, it was incredibly filling and definitely kept me satisfied. The workers were also really nice and accommodating, and the indoor seating was beautiful. The atmosphere felt like a fancy Italian café, complete with couches and artwork throughout the space. I wish I had taken pictures, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying what might be the best sandwich I've had in years.
