Had another delicious lunch today. Tried something different, the Garlic Cheese Sticks with a deluxe salad.

This is an amazing place. I am a US Army veteran in treatment. And this awesome place sent us a fantastic and delicious set of pizza's and wings for our Labor Day weekend. Great food and attitude toward veterans. Thank you Bearno's.

A classic Louisville pizza spot (well, spots, I suppose, there are--happily--several locations...the one by Bowman Field is my usual). Pizza is great: it's an almost crackery crust, but not quite, giving it a unique, crispy bite that still has a little pleasant chew to it; plenty of toppings to choose from (and they're not stingy with them!); sauce is tasty, slightly sweet in a good way). There are other options too, some sandwiches and pastas (fond of the breadsticks--basically the pizza crust, dusted with some seasoning, pizza sauce and garlic butter for dipping; my daughter loves the baked spaghetti...she tends to have good taste!). Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is about as casual as can be (not divey, mind you, just super laid back). Stop in, enjoy some "Louisville style pizza" as they say in their ads!

Been here only a few times in the past few years but, right around Christmas 2022 was when my friend and I made our way here since the pandemic. I know a very long time. This Bearno's is located off Taylorsville Road near the famous Bowman Field Airport. Traffic is busy in this area and parking is quite small and so is the inside of this restaurant. That's ok though, I do like small and cozy. My friend loves the Mama Bearno and I either go with meats or just Pepperoni. We did also order cheesy bread this visit as well. I like how the pizza is always cooked perfectly and the crust has the right crunch to it. I have yet to try their pastas. Service is always great here and depending on how busy they are, you may have a bit of a wait but, it is worth it. And just like their motto "Yeah it's that good".

To celebrate my husband's elementary school reunion, we had good pizza and cocktails with a group of about 15 others at the Jtown location. We were seated in the back room with one long table and a couple of smaller ones. Service was friendly and reliable. We never felt rushed or had to wait long for our order. For beer lovers, there's a beer wall in the front of the restaurant where you can try a wide variety of beers and only pay by the ounce. Unlike a typical buffet, this means that the bracelet can be used just as easily by someone who wants just one drink as by someone who wants to sample every beer they have to offer. In recent years, most Bearno's have either been a hit or a bad miss. I'm happy that this one was one of the former.

Yummy Bearno's pepperoni and onion pizza. You can't see the pepperoni in this picture, but, oh yeah, it's there.

Just finished another Bearno's Pizza. Cudos. We generally phone in our order and pick up. They were very covid conscious, and brought the pizza outside. Thank you. The best news was that the pizza rocked. Perfect crust. Just the right amount of cheese, and everything just as we like it. Yum! Last week, we detoured to another pizza place, and , from time to time, I am sure we will again. But Bearno's won this round hands down. Wherever we may roam, Bearno's is right there in the top three pizzas we have had in Louisville. They consistently put out a quality product. Good job!

Ok so they had a jumbo pizza. This was not it. This was the Extra Jumbo. Only the pepperoni on top of the cheese.

Louisville is a good pizza town. Bearno's Little Sicily was up to par. Not blown away, but very good. The server was super nice and kept up on refills, and pushed tables together to accommodate the pizza.

This is my favorite pizza place in Louisville. They have been a Louisville Landmark for many years. The pizza is made just right with the perfect amount of everything. Some pizza places use to much or not enough, but Bearno's uses the perfect combo of sauce and cheese. They also have specials on line you can use to save a little. I always order the super large pepperoni on line special and pick it up. The pizza is usually ready in 25 to 30 minutes. The people that work there are always nice. All the years I have been ordering Bearno's, I cannot think of a time they messed the order up or it was inconsistent. They always create a great product that closely resembles the one you had before for the same thing. Bearno's offers beer, sit inside if you wish. Order on line or call them. I have ordered just about everything on the menu including Lasagna, Spaghetti and meatballs, cheese bread and sticks, I 've had salads too. Everything I have had was very good. Never disappointed.

Meat pizza missing my requested pineapple

While I have always loved Bearnos pizza, ai have come to realize it is really hit or miss with them, and here lately it's been more of a miss. Working in the area for the past few weeks, I thought how nice it would be to grab a pizza on the go. It was easy ordering online and the pick up process was rather quick. However, the first pizza I order was burnt around the edges. So today, I thought I would give them another try. I even ordered the chicken to see how it was. So the chicken taste like frozen Tyson tenders I could buy at Kroger. No actually Tyson tastes better. On the other hand, my pizza was actually pretty decent today. I can only image that my pizza would have been exceptional had it had all the toppings I har requested. It was missing my pineapples (yes I am one of those people). The positive note...it wasnt burnt.

Very cute house limited parking very unassuming neighbourhood to a out-of-town. Client service was fantastic. Everyone was so pleasant. Food selection was great. We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we got the meatballs, the Arancini balls, oysters, kids pasta and three pizzas. The meatballs came with its own pita homemade delicious. Honestly, it would come back just for that. Of course had to get the tiramisu for dessert even though we were so full and it was so good. Super comparable to pizza and food in Toronto honestly, I was so happy great way to end my two week trip

Tucked away on Frankfort Avenue, it's a little off the beaten path, and parking can be an adventure. There's a small lot by the restaurant with overflow parking further down the hill. Somehow we managed to snag the only open space right outside the front door, which felt like winning a very specific Louisville lottery. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and the place was already buzzing. It was packed with locals, which is usually a good sign. While our table was being bussed, three different employees checked to make sure we were being helped. We let them know we were just a little early and waiting on our table, but it spoke volumes about the attentiveness of the staff. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a neighbourhood pizza spot: relaxed, lively, and unpretentious. The soundtrack quietly floating through the speakers was a crate-digger's delight, full of songs that have been sampled throughout hip-hop history. Hearing Lynn Collins' Think (About It) while waiting for dinner felt particularly apt following the recent passing of Rob Base. The song's iconic break became the foundation of It Takes Two, one of hip-hop's most recognisable records, and it was a nice reminder of how deeply great music connects generations. To start, we ordered the Olives & Togarashi, a bowl of Castelvetrano olives coated in a wonderfully aromatic blend of spices with notes of fennel, sesame and citrus. My son tried his first olive and was genuinely shocked by the flavour. He'll come around eventually. For the main event, we ordered three large pizzas: the DOP Margherita, the Funghi and the Original Sting. The DOP Margherita showcases imported buffalo mozzarella from Campania alongside basil and San Marzano tomatoes. The Funghi is loaded with an incredible blend of mushrooms, taleggio, pecorino cream and mozzarella. The Original Sting combines soppressata, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and spicy local honey in a sweet-and-savoury combination that completely works. Now, let's talk about the crust. It is perfect. Pillowy and light, yet substantial enough to give you that satisfying chew. The wood-fired oven creates just the right amount of charred bubbling around the edges. Our server offered house-made ranch and other dipping sauces for the crust, but we politely declined. This pizza doesn't need any enhancers. The balance of flavours across all three pies was exceptional. I've eaten pizza all over the world, and Pizza Lupo belongs in that conversation. It really is that good. We had a plan: sample all three pizzas and leave just enough room to split the tiramisu. Thankfully, we stuck to it. The tiramisu was fresh, light and beautifully balanced. Not overly sweet, nicely moist, with just enough espresso flavour coming through. It was the perfect finish to an outstanding meal. The service was fast without feeling rushed, friendly without feeling scripted, and genuine throughout the evening. We left full, not bloated, and happy as spring lambs, already talking about what we'd order next time. We'll defo be back. Cheers, Sam

We arrived about 7 on Saturday night, it was busy, but we were able to be seated within 10 min. Amazing location with street parking available. Great selection of Bourbon and beers available, and a great menu. They offer 4 styles of pizza: thin, original, thick, and Sicilian. We went with original, and it was perfect crust, with a chewy edge. Louisville style is two layers of cheese and toppings, with a slightly thicker than thin crust. We loved it, but it's very filling. Lots of leftovers, which is never bad. We always get 16in to maximize our slice to pizza ratio. Service was fast and attentive, their pizzas do take longer than your average, but it was worth it. I think ours took about 25 min.

My book club met at Impellizzeri's this week, and upon discovering several of us have dietary limitations, the server and kitchen staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure our ongoing health. A wonderful kitchen wizard ventured out into the dining room to talk to us personally, and confirmed that all the traditional pizza doughs, pastas, and red sauces are vegan. He offered to create a custom pasta dish with a variety of vegetables (spaghetti pomarola with garlic, spinach, and mushrooms), and ensured that the breadsticks that accompany the pasta dish (traditionally made with garlic butter and cheese) were vegan, prepared in a separate location in the kitchen to ensure no dairy contamination. For those with other food allergies and intolerances they ensured every detail was correct, even noticing that a pizza that was inadvertently prepared with an offending food item, and remaking it before it was even finished baking. Pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quantity and the truly excellent service, which is what truly made the experience special. My pasta dish was tasty. Is it the best pasta I've ever had? No - but it wasn't trying to be. What Impellizzeri's does well is serve good food at reasonable prices, in a location and with people who have an eye for detail and a passion for excellent customer service. Well done.
