The most AUUUUUHHHHMAZIIINGGG burgers I've ever had hands down. A little drive deep into Long Beach, outside is a pretty nice seating area. I got the "DOS" with fries. They have fountain drinks... only thing I was bummed about was they advertised they had grape Fanta but didn't haha... but it's all good. It's right next to Barnes And Nobles so it's great if you want to walk off your food. 10/10 from me and hubby. Service was quick (no one was there) ... I'll be coming here from now on. Been waiting a while for beasties to finally open. Service was friendly and helpful. Got the beasties "Burgerito" which is their signature item. Its a burrito sporting beef tallo cooked fries, 2 smash burgers, thinly sliced caramelized onions, and thinly sliced fresh jalapeños, crispy chorizo crumbles, white american cheese, their special creamy sauce and fresh guacamole. Most items here come with their special queso sauce for dipping your already insanely indulgent burrito! Queso is a little on the spicy side as its supposed to be. The whole thing is a five star flavor bomb! The smash tacos were amazing as well, they are like the Dubai tacos made famous on tik tok, but better. Their Smashburger were amazing, with spicy flavor, perfectly formed meat crust, facilitated by their use of a shortrib, chuck roll, sirloin, brisket, angus ground beef blend. Fresh not frozen. They have a really cool street art piece inside the rest, that is yelp/ IG worthy. Its a major upgrade from the old fantastic burger that was there previously. Saw this spot had their Grand Opening this past weekend. I was in the area today and wanted to try it out. I made the right choice. I had the Dos combo. Burger was delicious. I did not have it with the special sauce. Mostly because I wanted to try it out first and add it if needed. It was not needed. Cooked perfectly, with nice crust that the chorizo definitely helped out with. Could immediately taste the chorizo on the first bite. Fantastic!! The grilled onions, cheese, and peppers added a good spicy kick. Not too hot, but just right. I also did not use the nacho dipping sauce for the burger. But I did use it for the fries. The fries are amazing too. The beef tallow definitely changes the taste, in a good way. Never had fries cooked in beef tallow. The texture was very crisp, smoking hot, and just chewy enough inside. Their fountain drink machine was down today, but that did not change this review or the food. The store was extremely clean and the outdoor eating area and tables were clean and all had napkin dispensers. $16 for the Dos combo which includes fries and a drink. Good price for the quality and taste of the food. Portions were right on point too. I will definitely be back when I'm back on the Eastside. read more

Not only is this food delicious, it leaves one feeling delightedly full and not sluggish!!! After taking to the owner, the processes that is used to cook the food is tallow and not traditional oil. Incredible in how these small changes towards a more healthy option really make such a huge difference! I've had a few of Beastie's different burgers/burger-itos options and love that the menu expansion to the smash bird-eritos and other chicken options. And the desserts.... Forget about it!!! Just plan to save room. It is all so absolutely delicious! Do I sense a secret menu coming in the future with the addition of these new available ingredients in hand... maybe?!! Who knows.... With the options currently offered, it is easy to hodge podge together some delicious options not exactly on the menu!! Probably frowned upon, but enticing as someone with various diary restrictions. Excited to see how this menu changes and grows with this place!!! A warm friendly staff has always greeted me and been very helpful with recommendations. Another enjoyable note is the presentation of Beastie's- from the graffiti styled flowers while walking up, to the mural inside of the restaurant, the vibe feels a bit higher end than the average local burger joint. Wow wow wowwwww...I was not expecting to love Beasties as much as I do! It's seemingly simple food with the menu centered around smash burgers, tacos, and burritos, but the flavors are not. We tried the burgerito, dos burger, and a single taco, all of which were delicious. They use several meats, including chorizo, which was my favorite part. The queso that came on the side had a nice kick, and the fries in the burgerito were perfectly crispy. I loved the spicy green peppers that came with each meal, too. I've been to Beasties a few times now and overall the food is great. Service was fast and friendly. Old school walk up windows to order and pick up. Limited indoor seating and a nice heated patio if you are eating in. I've tried the Uno smash burger, the smash tacos, the burgerito, fries, the Uno Rellano burger, and the horchata soft serve. The Uno and the Uno Rellano burgers are probably my favorite. Great mix of flavors, with the onion, chorizo, cheese, sauce mix. Combo is the way to go and priced right. The fries are crispy just how I prefer them. Tacos and the burgerito are solid and great dipped in the queso. I don't think I've ever seen horchata soft serve on a menu and it is surprisingly very good. Yesterday I noticed they have added chicken options to the menu as well. I'll have to try those later. Tried Beasties for the first time as it's a new burger spot in my neighborhood, but sadly I was disappointed :( I got the uno smash burger combo which came with the smash burger, fries, and a fountain drink. The burger was an interesting concept combining chuck, short rib, angus beef, brisket with jalapeños and crispy chorizo on top! However, considering how many meats they've combined it actually lacked flavor. The chorizo and jalapeños were the main star of the show bc that's where the burger got most of it's flavor, but I'm not a spicy gal so maybe it's just not my type of burger? The fries were overly fried (and I love a fried hard fry!) because they were way too chewy to be enjoyable and they lacked flavor.
