Oh boy, from the moment I sat in the chair I wanted to get up and leave. The lady immediately sat me down to do my brows which was great but then she started asking me questions about my skin, what I do with my skin etc.. while doing my eyebrows, she kept stopping and starting again, and then stopped to get someone else from a back room to talk to me about skincare, and they were basically trying to sell me skincare services (I didn't have anything wrong with my skin, I had one minor pimple) but while she was threading my brows, talking and listening to someone else talk/sell, the lady doing my brows was so distracted with the other lady talking to where she did something with the thread that hurt my skin badly, it felt like a hard pinch but ended up causing me to lightly bleed, at this point I just wanted her to stop so I could leave but was still listening to them selling skincare services, I was just so confused on why she didn't even consider the fact that I said "ow!", no apologies, no acknowledgement, nothing. She just kept talking... I was so uncomfortable and unhappy at this point but I just kept a blank, silent expression until she was done. Then to top it all off, I didn't even like the way she did my brows, she left strays- so, I didn't tip and I definitely didn't return for any other services. In my opinion... Maybe focus on what you're doing and try to do a good job instead of trying to sell other services I wasn't even there for and to be honest had no interest in the entire time(which was obvious from me being silent and short with my responses). The place I went to before this place had me as a repeat customer for 5 years, this would have been my new spot if the experience wasn't so awful. That being said, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The Beauty By Thread in Arden Mall is much better than this, I'd go back there but this specific location scares me. I usually always come for Jasmeen and she's always the best. Today I walked in and she wasn't here, so I decided to be open to a new lady and got seated with puneet. Sad to say I left pissed and mad!! She thin me out, and made my eyebrow very uneven, I also got cut and the lady was heavy handed making it hard to lay still while she butchers my eyebrows!!!!!!!! Came in today on a whim because I was on the area and hadn't gotten my eyebrows done in months. I was serviced right after I signed in by Simarjit. I explained to her that I wanted to keep my eyebrow shape, just needed them cleaned up and she did exactly that in a very timely fashion! She periodically had me check my eyebrows in the mirror to ensure that I was pleased with the service. $13 for a 10 minute service done well and in a clean environment is a great deal! My daughter comes here and always gets her eyebrows waxed. She likes a little bit than her sensor eyebrows are so thick, but she never has a bad experience and she does have sensitive skin and they always remind her and help her so it's not so irritated after she's finished, but she has never had a bad eyebrow wax or threading, and the women are always so sweet and so helpful with if she doesn't know how she wants her eyebrows to look what she wants some change a little bit they always make it a point to help make sure she likes it but it's always clean. My first visit ever and it was a good one. I didn't book an appointment, my mistake. Luckily, the ladies were kind enough to take care of me anyways. However, they are by appointment only at the moment due to Covid-19. They have you put sanitizer on before touching anything and the chairs are spaced out more. However, I noticed that they had me and another woman use the same pen without sanitizing it. I've noticed that other stores have separate pens that are previously sanitized and when it's been used, they have the customer put it in a separate container to sanitize once again. Maybe something they should consider doing here too. Also, I didn't see anyone sanitize the chair before I sat down or after. My threading experience was pretty standard. It was a good experience, but with the health regulations going on I would just be cautious going in. read more

Went here as a walk-in due to last minute plans and was able to sit and wait. I don't mind waiting at all and would've been fine if they couldn't take anymore walk-ins due to high volume of clients and appointments. The whole process was very rushed and it felt as if she was taking out her frustration on me while threading my eyebrows. It was more painful than my experience at the Arden location where the other employee accidentally cut into my skin from being too rough, and I was nervous that I'd go home with more cuts to heal. Thankfully there was no wound, but my eyebrows were not properly trimmed and there were unplucked strands left in random patches. Only went here out of convenience as I couldn't go to the Florin location at the time, now I don't have to worry about that anymore. read more

The person who I usually go for threading at another place isn't available in the near future so I did a search for threading places in the area. Very picky on threading places since I've gotten botched eyebrows from threading a good handful of times (though I feel like I'm hard mode for threaders because my eyebrow hairs seem to grow in a chaotic fashion). Decided to check this place out since the reviewers name dropped their fave people here. I ended up going with Jasmeen. Jasmeen was very sweet though a little soft spoken (had to ask her to repeat what she said a couple of times). There were some times during the threading when she was slow at removing hair that caused me to tear up a little. Loved the shape she made for one of the eyebrows (albeit a little thinner than I liked but it's alright). She noticed that my other eyebrow is significantly another shape and she ended up just cleaning that eyebrow up (which I didn't mind too much since I didn't want my eyebrows to be even thinner from her attempting to make super matching brows). Both of my eyebrows ended up okay; they're a bit distant sisters but nothing a brow pencil can't fix lol. Overall not the best threading that I've had but far from the worst. The price for the threading ($12) isn't bad at all. read more
