The ONLY reason I am posting on Yelp, is that when I called the business on Saturday morning when my delivery was incomplete...all I got was a recording...tried.. twice then moved on....the delivery was made by an uber...not a representative of the business :( The donuts were FANTASTIC, although I would recommend the "regular" ones over the "fancy". We ordered delivery/donuts/coffee @ $130 and found NO COFFEE CUPS with our two containers of coffee. Very annoying to have to go to the store to purchase. And the coffee was 30 minutes cooler by the time it could be consumed...although people dove into the donuts. read more

Beavers donut truck can typically be found on Wacker Dr in the mornings. My co-workers have not started calling them crack, because they are wack and you just can not have one. Donut holes in my office seem to be the hit. You can get a few varieties and share them. My preference are the cinnamon covered ones. We had Beaver's Coffee and Donuts at my daughter's wedding reception. Were they ever a hit! The mini donuts were fluffy and delicious, with both traditional and unique flavors. The coffee was an excellent counterpoint. After a long night of dancing and partying, the guests were thrilled to have a chance to top the evening off with donuts before they moved on to the afterparty. They even tasted great the next morning, when I was excited to find an uneaten box in my hotel room. The owners were so flexible and communicated with me extremely well. I hope to have the chance to use them again at another event, and wouldn't hesitate to do so. read more

You can smell beavers doughnuts from down the street, and once that happens you just have to get some. The guys in the truck are super friendly and will answer any question you may have. Definitely suggest powdered or cinnamon topping, if you want a real sugar overload the more adventurous topping are for you (just not my personal preference). this visit they made them fresh for us and it was even better then past visits, would consider this one of the best doughnuts in the city when fresh, but not fresh ones are also amazing. read more

THE WORST! So i was trying to decide between the Nutella Dream and the Smores donuts. It said $3 for 4 quarter size donuts. The size of an American quarter you put in your pocket or less than the size of a donut hole. I was told I could get both for $5. There menu says 9 donuts for $5. So i thought I would get at least 8, 4 of each flavor. Instead i got 4 donuts not for $3 but for $5. I asked and they said it was an up charge of $2 being $1 more for each flavor. They just lost a customer and on top of it they weren't even worth it. I wouldn't even cared but it was $5 to get into the Pilsen Food Truck fest which was a bust. NOON and no one was even in line at any of the trucks. Be glad you missed this Food Truck Fest. read more

While the donuts are delicious, the catering was a huge let down. I ordered a delivery for an office event. I requested delivery at 8:15 am. At 8:25 am I called to inquire, as the delivery team had not arrived. I was told at that time that usually there is a 15-30 minute delivery window and probably longer because of the cubs parade and number of people downtown (the 15-30 minute window was definitely not mentioned to me when I placed the order; had it been I would have asked for 8 am since my event began promptly at 8:30 am). So the catering manager (who I will say was pleasant and nice on the phone) said he would call the team and find out what the status was). Another 30 minutes went by, I heard nothing. at 8:55 am I called again. My event was now scheduled to wrap up in 5 minutes at 9 am and we had no food. He told me when he called the delivery team after my first call they were just leaving so not sure what the hold up was. The worst part about this - the delivery team is literally in a food truck right in front of my office. The reason I asked for delivery is because I'd be setting up my event and would not have time to go wait in line at the food truck...but what could possibly take so long when the truck is 50 feet from the front door of my building?!? The catering manager is refunding my money but I just wanted to share that this donut delivery was the biggest let down and we will never be ordering for an event from beavers again. Could not even fill the smallest of catering orders successfully. Not impressed and would never suggest anyone catering a corporate event order from here. read more

My three star review is only because the donut competition in this town is sooo tough! I appreciated the friendly service and the donuts are melt-in-mouth and very sweet, which is a mixed blessing. The "Cuban coffee" didn't resemble the thick brew I've had at Cuban restaurants - it was adequate but I was hoping for more. This is upscale krispy kreme - if that sounds appealing then you'll probably love this place, but for me it's only "quite like." read more

Beavers Coffee & Donuts made for a sweet apology! I used a trip to Beavers at the French Market as a romantic, apology trip to my boyfriend and it was perfect. He had JUST said how he was craving mini donuts, which apparently are abundant in his native Canada but not so much here.
