We also had an extra burger added to our order that we didn't order. They said they would refund it back to the card. I didn't pay so I don't know if it was credited back or not. This Becks Prime location offered great service and good food. I ordered through the drive-thru which interestingly enough is a brick path around the back of the building. At first I wasn't sure I was going in the right place but I kept on and ended up at the ordering sign. The menu is not very large but there are ample options to choose. Quite a few options for burgers, a few salads, and some entrées along with the kids menu are available. On this visit I ordered just a classic cheeseburger cooked medium and an order of sweet potato fries. For the next day I ordered a side garden salad with white balsamic dressing. I thought hey, perfect time to grab lunch, too. The sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious! The burger was huge. The patty was so thick and the toppings nice and fresh. The taste of this particular burger was just OK, nothing really special. But I am interested in trying some of their other options such as the mushroom Swiss burger and the guacamole burger on a future visit. read more

Children's Burger is about the same price as a regular burger. Service: Eh, I wasn't impressed. It was my first time here and you order at the counter. Whoever the gentleman was that was working the front, did his job but not super friendly customer service. He might have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Friendliness, that is what you will experience here, nothing more, nothing less. The staff here is trained on customer service, you can tell everybody is on the ball with this, thank you Beck's Prime location on Augusta/Westheimer. Parking is all around the building but the main thing and the one thing I gave it an extra star is because of that humungous 400 plus old tree that almost covers the restaurant. I had the lucky experience to step in here on a mild 85 degree day and take my food out on one of the many tables that are settled under the tree. This tree is shared by my other favorite place "Mouldon's Patio" which is a bar so if you do not get enough alcohol here you can stumble next door and finish your tipsiness off. The tree is 400 years old and growing, there is a sign that says do not climb and you better heed to that or a bird is going to poop on your food. When you walk in you will be hit in the face with a bouquet of smoked in what smells like hickory or pecan scents. That is what you will be tasting in your burger, your ribeye, your chicken and your fingers when you are done. It is not an over powering taste, just right. I usually order the ribeye sandwich which is very tasty but maybe a tad on the tough side. It is about $11, the burgers are about $8 +. The french fries I stay away from. Everybody else raves about them but they seem to be as dull, greasy, and nasty, kind of like Five Guy's burgers. They are I believe "hand cut" type instead of machined shoe stringed like McDonald's, not 100% sure on that you might have to check that out yourself. Beer selction is pretty big for a nominal place like this. I uploaded a picture and if I can remember right I think there were about 40 bottles of your favorite brew, wine and such. This was the most pleasant experience I've had in all of the years I've been coming here. He went above and beyond to accommodate us. My family and I come here probably around once per week. I love that I can get a healthy kid's meal of grilled chicken strips and fruit for my toddler and a healthy meal for myself as well. Becks has surprisingly delicious salads; my go-to is the Kirby salad with grilled chicken added. The grilled tuna and veggie burger are also favorites and, of course, the burgers and fries are excellent when I feel like having a treat. The flavor of the meat is so good in all of their dishes and I love that this location is always so consistent, clean and service oriented. The deck is also a real gem...it's large and surrounded by a few very beautiful stately oak trees. Just an all around good place that is close to home and perfect for low key relaxing meals with the family. read more

The staff is very friendly. My burger was quite good. We also ordered the ribeye fajitas. The meat had a lot of fat. The manager came by and asked how the food was and I told him about the fat. He tried to explain that ribeye has fat on it. I didn't argue with him. I've cooked a lot of ribeye and none of them had this kind of fat. Ribeye has marbling, not chunks of fat like you'd find on a strip. The more I looked at the meat, the more I believe it wasn't ribeye but a cheaper cut like flank steak. Needless to say, we won't be going back to this location and just order burgers in the future. read more

When you're the only ones in line, there should be no rush to order... yet, we were asked constantly if we were ready to order though we said we were still deciding. Lunch was okay, just "ok." We went before the crowd. Got the fajitas. These were so disappointing. Tortillas were hard and stuck together. Really the fajitas are a piece of meat of your choosing piled on top of smothered onions which are already piled on top of a bed of lettuce. Then your toppings are all piled on the side. I go to Beck's Prime about once a week to get a Cobb Salad and cheese fries. The staff is always so polite and sweet. Today my mom took through the drive thru to get my usual order after I had eye surgery and when we got home, we were sad that my chocolate shake had been forgotten. We called Beck's to let them know what happened. The owner or manager drove over to my nearby apartment and hand delivered the shake to us. We were beyond impressed. Outstanding food and outstanding customer service. Wow. They make a great burger and delicious salads. 10/10. read more

Awesome customer service. So I decided to come here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and I heard great things about the burger. Since I LOVE to eat lol I decided to order two burgers. I decided to order the Bacon Cheeseburger, truffle fries, and Ahi Tuna Burger. I think the guy who helped me was Tim he was so nice. I waited about ten minutes for my food. It was hot and smelled so good. I ordered my food to go cause I wanted to eat in the comfort of my home. Once I got home I was disappointed with my bacon cheeseburger. It was a good size but the burger had no flavor. I taste like they cooked the meat no seasoning. Now the truffle fries were delish!!!! I also enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Burger it was just to small. :-( Overall this location has great customer service, truffle fries, Ahi Tuna Burger but the the bacon burger was disappointing. First of all, their vanilla milkshakes are very good and they come in different sizes for those that cannot eat too much dairy. Secondly, their sweet potato fries are very crispy and whenever I skip ordering them, I remind myself that it is a reason to go back. I like to pour hot sauce and ketchup on them and sometimes I will additionally dip them in mayonnaise. Thirdly, the vegetarian burger is very tasty and the mustard was quite a complimentary flavor as well as the greens that were crisp and the onions. Fast food that is much better than a Micky Ds but so much more expensive that I'm amazed it stays open. I had a Bacon Cheese Burger. It was good, but it was $12 without the fries! The burger is satisfying, but not amazing. The bun was nice, the patty juicy, it's what I expect of a hamburger, but at this price point?!? I also tried my Dad's fries, not bad but I'm not a big fry fan as well as my mom's jamocha shake which was quite nice. Expect to drop $15-17 for a burger and side of fries. If you are looking for a nicer fast food experience with solid food but high prices, come get a burger here. Personally, I'll continue to seek out local places with better burgers and lower prices. read more

This Beck's location is one of my favorites. The drive through customer service is awesome. My order is always exactly what I ordered. Plain and simple. Yes that is how it should be but that is not always the case with some places. So my point here is that if you don't have time to stop in to eat, then try the drive through. It's worth it. But today my main review is over the great service we received as a group last Friday. We had a goodbye lunch for a coworker and Beck's Prime was her choice (a great choice!). We arrived around 11am and the manager was very helpful in setting up tables for our group of 13 people. We all placed our order and it came out numbered. So one of our take-charge coworkers started calling out the orders to us. It was a very quick process. The smooth setup and food distribution allowed us to focus on the real reason we were there, which was to enjoy great food in a laid back environment and to wish a coworker well as she starts a new chapter in her life. Going in I wasn't sure how they would handle a big group. In fact, I didn't even think about it until we arrived. In the past, I've only been there with small groups (and on my own) but I was very impressed with everything. Now on to my burger....the Blue Cheese burger is my favorite and I get it every time. I really should venture out and try other choices on their menu especially as my coworkers all enjoyed their food (and some members of this group love to complain. LOL! So that says a lot). I have been passing these Beck Prime restaurants for years and decided to check it out during lunch on June 1 with some co workers. I ordered the Bill's Burger which had grilled onions, jalapeño, and a few other things. That was a pretty good burger. The menu states the beef is cooked medium ( with a little pink) automatically. NO SIR AND NO MA'AM!!!! I am mammal, not animal - please cook my meat ALL the way!!! I know some of y'all are thinking I'm some no class having fool BUT hey-maybe I am...LMBO!!!!! I love the option to eat on the inside or sit on the nicely shaded patio. That's important for US who really need limited sun exposure- #teamnotanneeded.. I paid $15 for a burger/fries/ drink. On the surface, that's pretty steep, but I realize these are not "fast food" burgers either. I would return if I get the urge for a good burger.. read more

This place always has pretty solid burgers where the smell lures you in. Bill's burger is my standard, only issue is that it comes with bacon, but very little. The burger is still plenty big. I always order fies and feel like they are missing something, maybe just to real for me. During a nice day the outdoor patio with the ancient oak is great. Milkshakes are solid. Staff is always friendly and they are quick to get you a refill if you go to the counter. Lines can form quickly. When a buddy and I ate there, he finished up a phone call and line went from no one to 12 people in about 30 seconds, seriously. They get you through quick thought. read more

So I've noticed every Beck's Prime I've gone to is adjacent to some really nicely landscaped area. This location has two huge oak trees that are over 400 years old. Plus two huge patios. It's in the middle of a big city but it's very peaceful. They always have very calming atmospheres which is a nice getaway in Houston. Besides that, the burgers are always juicy and cooked to perfection. The portions are huge so you have to share. Well you don't have to, but you should. It's always clean and the service is quick and efficient. If I had to pick something negative I guess I'd say prices, but paying more for quality is worth it to me. read more

Hit up Becks Prime after working out as it's close to the 24 Hour Fitness on Westheimer. Beck's is fine, it's just too much plain vanilla for me. I guess that explains why it's a big hit with the elderly population lol. Beck's has it's own parking lot and a nice patio. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer that vibrates when your food is ready. The menu mostly consists of burgers, sandwiches, shakes, and various entrees. They are known for their burgers. I had the Hickory Burger which comes with American cheese, bacon, and hickory sauce (a tangy BBQ sauce). The buns are fresh, the burgers and patties are a good size, but I was not a fan of the sauce. Perhaps I would have enjoyed my burger more with a different sauce. A burger, fries, and a drink is going to push close to $20 for some of the more interesting burgers so it's a tad overpriced in my opinion. With so many burger joints in Houston, Becks isn't at the top of my list but it's a solid and quick meal if you're in the area. read more

They have quite a selection on "healthy" eats, although I think some of the their steamed veggies are a bit on the salty side to make it healthy (or perhaps its just me feeling healthy means bland.)They have a drive-thru which you would think it would make this place "fast" but be prepared to wait a bit.... or opt for the patio when theres nice weather. I actually love their caesar salad. Their croutons are so buttery! Add some grilled chicken and it'll seem like a semi-healthy lunch. $10 for chicken caesar salad in a "fast food" joint does seem pretty steep, but I just love their croutons! read more
