I am beyond impressed - I have been going to Becks for a long time and their burgers are just amazing!! I wanted to try something new so I decided to order a steak. I was skeptical to order since the Ribeye price is at a whopping $30. I always said to myself if I'm going to pay $30 I much rather go to a real steak house like Saltgrass, Perry's, Ruth steakhouse etc etc... but I decided to try it anyways and what a surprise! The steak was perfectly marbled, tender and soft. I got probably a little bit more than 1/2' inch thick and it came with salad and an extra side. I must say, The Ribeye was much better than some leading steakhouses such as - Saltgrass, Perry's, Outback and some others I cant think off. This place is the best chain food burger in Texas. The meat and fixin's are top notch, but be prepared to pay for quality. I have eaten at 46 of the top 50 burger places in Texas and Beck's Prime is a legitimate contender. Negatives....shredded lettuce(doesn't belong on a top notch burger) Bun didn't hold up, got mushy at the end. Eat it with the top bun on the bottom to fix this ! I feel like my family ends up eating here at least once a month. It's a bit heavy if your not a meaty type person. The yellow bread is really good and most everything on their menu isn't too bad. Sometimes the quality isn't on par and we have to ask them to actually melt the cheddar on the fries or cook the meet a little more, but for the most part it must be pleasing to my family of seven because we still go back for more. For years, I never went to Becks. Didn't really know what it was and didn't care to try it. My husband came home after eating there and couldn't stop talking about how I need to eat there. This review is what happened after I did. I'm picky with burgers. I'm turned off by 5 Guys burgers and Smash Burger now because they can't even compare to the flavor here. I've had some great burgers and some pretty plain ones. This place really meets my expectations for the best flavor a burger can provide. Most places I have been to don't season their burgers for some reason and instead rely on sauces and vegetables to make it a great one. Becks puts the flavor IN the burger while also providing options for even more taste. I asked my family to meet here once so they could have a burger before they started their juicing diet. I raved on and on about how they will love it. As soon as my brother-in-law took a bite, his eyes rolled in the back of his head. He said, "I really wasn't expecting much since many people tell me to visit some restaurant and I'm always unsure why they feel it's great food but THIS? This was perfect! I didn't expect it to be THIS good". Beck's could easily turn into a high classed burger joint but it's kept simple for the jeans and t-shirt crowd. The burgers aren't cheap when you look at the menu but as soon as you take a bite, you're not even going to care what you paid. It's that good. I'm stuck on the Bubba Burger and have only ventured out to one other burger. Once I find something good, I don't find it easy to try something new on the menu. Although, I did have a bite of my friend's Cali burger/sandwich and it was excellent. My husband has had their steaks and salads and always goes for that. The interior is quite simple as you might expect for a burger place. I usually comment about the interior and exterior about a place but because the food is so good, I don't even notice. I do enjoy sitting outside on the deck near the water. It's peaceful and I have a hard time walking away even after I've finished my meal. It's usually pretty quiet inside. When we gave it another shot, I was more focused to see what the hub-bub was about. The service is great - the cashiers greet you, ask you what you would like to eat, and the one which was taking my order offered some options as to "what is good". After listening to what he would recommend, I went with Bill's Burger. From the menu, Bill's Burger is constructed of Angus chuck, blue cheese, lettuce and tomato. The burger was overly greasy at which it soaked through the bag. The taste was also mediocre. I really do wish I could say more about this place. It seems as though the reviews here are either they love it or it's a "meh". I'm really surprised how low the overall rating for this restaurant is. The fact that some people have written reviews that say the service was great, food was great but the price was high, and go on to one star the place is just absolutely ridiculous. Everything on the menu from chicken, burgers, steak to the vegetables is all delicious and cooked with the freshest ingredients! I've been coming here for years and the staff has always been excellent. In my honest opinion, I'd give this restaurant a 4.5 out of 5. But because there are people giving this place a one star even when they say the food and service was great, I'm giving it a 5. Great place to eat! We love coming to Becks. The food is why you come and then return. Great service too! The whole Beck's chain does a great job with grilled food that tastes great. Though it might be a touch more expensive than other places similar to it, the food is definitely worth it. This is a usual once a week stop for us. I've NEVER had service as great as it was today at this restaurant. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The manager took our order and since it was our first time there he helped us with the menu and recommended certain items. He even insisted on helping us take a booster seat onto the patio, when he noticed we had two kids. Outside the restaurant there is a pretty lake with ducks and since the weather was nice today it was the perfect spot to have dinner Al fresco, our kids loved it. We received our food so quickly, we had barely dug into our appetizer. My husband and I each ordered their most popular burger and it was SO delicious, probably one of the tastiest burgers I've had, not to mention huge. I ate a little more than half and was so full. The burgers are always big, filling, and the perfect shade of pink in the middle. If you opt to sit on the patio, expect to be heckled by the ducks that frequent the pond.
