Pool and nearby our room. Older place but getting updated.

Not right in Boston. Just outside in Lexington. An older hotel but owners are updating it. Bonus-free parking, pool, and easy in parking. Lots of shopping and gas stations around. Polite owners and quiet setting. Great restful night.

RUN!!! Do not be fooled by the photos and reviews. This place is terribly run, rude, stoned unfriendly staff. It is unhygienic and the safety measures are not up to par. I was overcharged, $499 when my company was charged $133 per night. I was expecting to pay only $266 + taxes and rates. They refuse to give me a recipe and said it needs to be provided by the party who booked the hotel. 0 stars would be more appropriate. There were blood stains on the chair, one power outlet in the room was in working condition. Breakfast items were stale, fire alarm in my room was not connected, no inspection sticker in the elevator. You have to pay per hour for the fitness room and pool btw. I have reported this hotel as it violates many health and safety standards and consumer rights. Ask for your receipt up front, they are not allowed to refuse it. Also, the toll free number on the website is no longer in service.

Food garbage from the previous guests still in the garbage can

If there was someway to give negative stars that's what I would do. This place is cheap but it is filthy disgusting and I'm sorry I booked it on hotwire.com The shower curtain wasn't even hanging properly from the shower rod. The food garbage from the previous guest was still in the garbage can. The furniture is filthy. The room clearly wasn't dusted or vacuumed. I feel like this place should be condemned by the health department. I went to the front desk and they could not move me to another room because the hotel is sold out .

I was surprised at some of the negative reviews on this place. I just stayed here 11/1 to 11/4 and found it to be a great value in a great location. Location: it's very conveniently located about a mile from RT 128/95. You have a McDonald's and Pizza place both next to the hotel. And a Stop N Shop about 200 yards up the road, in a plaza with other stores. Staff: they were awesome. On my night checking in, they asked what floor I wanted to be on. My room was cleaned everyday and the bed was made. New towels were always put in my bathroom. Hotel: they have underground parking. That is a HUGE plus in Massachusetts. Your car will stay warm in the winter, and you won't have to scrape your windshield. They have an indoor heated pool !!! Also a HUGE plus in Massachusetts in the winter. The room has DirecTV with plenty of channels including some movie channels. It has pretty decent WiFi. Individually controlled room heat and air-conditioning which made my stay nice because I wanted the room nice and warm. They are for free continental breakfast, with a reasonable selection of food. In general the hotel was rather quiet. I didn't hear any noise in my room from the outside. Negatives: Some of the furniture could use replacing. I didn't notice anything too terrible but definitely some of it could be replaced. The outside of the hotel could use a remodel and new paint. Again nothing too terrible but just something that might make the hotel more appealing from the outside. Overall: I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Massachusetts. For the money you pay it's definitely a great value.

Definitely a good spot to crash if you're only planning on staying a night or two. Great hotel for the price - not too far from Boston ~$20-30 Uber one way into Boston... Clean rooms, clean sheets, clean towels, good A/C, lots of tv channels. Breakfast was nice and the pool is clean and pretty cool how it is indoors. Downfalls: Toilet didn't flush - shower didn't really drain well. Workers began cleaning bedrooms at 7am and my room was right next to their "supply closet" so we heard them all morning. Outside of the building really made me second guess what I had gotten myself into - inside was much better. Conveniently located right next to a McDonalds.

Seeing this late at night on the highway - was what drew me in

I stayed here late one night just to be safe from driving in snow and ice. I found the place through my maps gps. My maps said it would be $50, their website says $65, when I got to the counter they told me it was $80. When I told them their website said $65 the person behind the desk argued with me saying they wouldn't ever post that on their website... well clearly they don't look into it as I screen shot it. They still didn't uphold what their advertising said. I mean it was a quiet decent stay... I knew this wasn't the Ritz... but the pricing thing and the way it was handled I found it to be misleading and unprofessional- As a paying customer, I really value honesty and integrity and I left feeling as if I had been ripped off and I was very disappointed at the level of integrity in which this business conducts itself.

We ended up at this hot mess on accident We had a B&B in Cape Cod. Couldn't even get in with the weather They cancelled the reservation Omg So we drive to Boston in the rain all wet and crazy. We are checking in at 11pm And i see the reviews. And of course - I'm about to fall out looking at the photos esp the bed bugs photos. I'm here a second night. The staff is nice. It's clean It just needs some repairs I was freaked out all night, since that wench decided to post a photo of a bed bug. You puta!!! Omg!!!! I had to take 2 ambien and 2 Xanax just to deal I drank a bottle of red wine, out on my eye mask and prayed i wouldn't get eaten alive waking up looking like a fried ginger! Anyway I survived. Breakfast was decent Nothing fancy I grabbed a banana My son jumped in the pool. I didn't check to see if was gross- i don't wanna know. I threw his as in the shower. Went to get drinks and i heard a couple in another room going at it like crazy She was loud AF!!! I had to listen. I'm sick like that. This place is nonstop drama. I give it 5 stars just cause I want to be the cool one. But yeah it's a shot hole, but there's parking, microwaves, cable tv, fridge. If you aren't that fancy, and I do like nice places, but i prefer drama. You can't get Drama at the Ritz Carlton unless you work there. Here it's in your face. Lotta ragamuffins. Don't be a hater

LOVED my stay at the Bedford Plaza Hotel!!! Great service. Front desk staff, Jenny, was kind & extremely helpful. The pool is lovely and there is a beautiful indoor balcony where you can look out & see the rest of the hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, & you could not beat the price. Also, the area was very nice & quiet, which was exactly what my husband & I needed. There is a very clean and well staffed McDonald's right next door. Overall a great experience & I know where I will be staying next time I visit the Boston area :)

The staff was friendly and kindly accommodated our late check out request even though we didn't need to use it in the end. The check out hour for noon is also decent and not rushed like other hotels that have a 10:00 am check out. And there are many cafes and restaurants and shopping around. So they are very convenient. And it is close by the Boston down town. A 20 Minute drive. I also saw that they had a shuttle, so that must be a very convenient way to get down town! I got there at 4:45 and had to wait a half hour to get into the room. Got a voucher for anything I wanted from their breakfast selection. Got into room and no TV remote. Called Hotel Services. No answer. Walked to front desk and told them. She said she'd take care of it. Time goes by and finally a young woman appears at the door but she says she will talk to Maintenance. So I wait for 45 minutes. Nothing. I return to the front desk and tell her. She said something about her boss was coming in soon. So I waited some more and a very nice guy from Maintenance came with a remote but it didn't work so he messed around with the TV and left me with a remote. Maybe 20 minutes later he returned messed around with the TV again and left a remote. So that was that until this morning when I tried to take a shower. The water came out of the tub spout but did not come out of the shower. Nor did it come out of the hand-held spout so I had to take a sponge bath. This was supposed to be an accessible room. There was a fold-down seat in the shower. The containers for soap/shampoo/conditioner were on the wall behind the seat - totally not accessible if you are sitting on the seat. I left a wake-up call for 6:30. Didn't get it!!!!! The front desk said it wasn't answered. I checked the ringers on the phone. One was on high and one was on medium. By the way I would think that in an accessible room the phone would be near the bed. This was across the room on a desk. Went to the desk to complain and to say I wanted a refund. She said the only manager on duty was the food and beverage manager so I spoke to him. I certainly hope I will be given a refund. Two other notes. This was supposed to be an accessible room.

Now that I've had more travel experience, I can confidently say this hotel is a hidden gem in Waltham. The apartment-style rooms are fantastic--spacious, clean, and equipped with full kitchens, comfy seating areas, and all the essentials. It's more like staying in a cozy apartment than a standard hotel, which makes solo trips, family visits, or longer stays feel effortless. The service is genuinely warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is a standout--custom-made eggs cooked to order and expertly crafted coffee that beats any run-of-the-mill hotel fare. The location is great too--close enough to Brandeis University for visiting students, but also easy to explore Waltham's Moody Street for restaurants, cafés, and a little local charm. The area felt safe and walkable, and for outdoor enthusiasts, you can hop on nearby trails along the Charles River or Mass Central Rail Trail for some scenic exercise. Bottom line: Whether you're visiting Waltham for school, family, or just a weekend getaway, Crescent Suites hits all the marks. If I ever find myself back in the area, I won't think twice about staying here again.

The drive to Plumb Island through Newburyport was the perfect introduction to our romantic, north shore getaway. Being from Phoenix, we look forward to our cold, winter adventure each year and neither of us had been anywhere north of Boston before. Before our arrival, communication with the Blue was informative and hand a personal feel. Obviously, the Blue caters to summer beach-goers, and the reserved parking area near the hotel would definitely be a huge plus for folks competing for parking spots, but in winter, there are very few people or cars on the entire island. The Blue is a quaint little hotel nestled on the beach in a neighborhood of New England beach homes. We were happily greeted at the front desk by Blue staff and the General Manager. They tendered to our every need and surprised us with a fabulous fruit and chocolate anniversary gift waiting for us in the room. The room was beautiful with a classic and modern beach feel. Sliding glass doors open up to a wooden deck with a fabulous view of the Atlantic Ocean. We could hear the crashing waves while sitting inside beside the gas fireplace to read. It was magical! Also magical was the bed! We haven't slept that well in years! The bed was so comfortable and my wife loved the pillows so much that she bought the very same ones for home the day we returned. And don't forget the two hot tubs! There is nothing quite as enjoyable as relaxing in a steaming, bubbling hot tub while it's snowing all around you. Honestly, the "hot tubs available" filter was probably what highlighted the Blue to me during my search for this trip. One hot tub is on the second floor deck, overlooking the beach and the second is hidden under the pine trees at the end of a short sidewalk across the street from the main building. Both were large enough for probably 6 people, clean and well maintained. Again, it was February so we had them all to our crazy selves the whole week. The beach is beautiful! There is direct, private access from the second floor of the Blue, via a wooden boardwalk. The beach is sandy with very few rocks. I didn't see any seaweed or anything washing up on shore, but it was February, so I didn't expect to see a whole lot of anything living coming out of the water. Every morning we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise over the ocean while we drank some local coffee delivered direct to the room. Oh yeah, breakfast! Each morning the staff dropped off and adorable wicker basket with fresh, local breakfast offerings plus that wonderful carafe of coffee. We had different breakfast each day, to include quiche, overnight oats, fresh fruit, biscuits, and bacon. Just the right amount for the two of us and we couldn't wait to see what breakfast surprise would arrive each morning. Although Plumb Island may feel remote from the business of the Boston-metro area, the location was great for dipping down to Salem without hitting any traffic, or popping up to New Hampshire for a sleighride through the forest. One morning, after a small nor'easter blew through, our SUV got stuck in the parking lot snow. No worries! The General Manager of the Blue came out to hail down a plow and personally helped push us out. Now that's service! Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Blue -Inn on the Beach to anyone looking for a romantic beach getaway. If you're looking for a less Metropolitan vacation with the proximity to get to Boston in under an hour, the Blue can't be beat. We will definitely be coming back. Maybe even in the summer next time!
