Vegan Spring Roll...still warm with a dunking sauce that's not overly sweet.

Finally a spot to quench my cravings for clean cuisine! It's a 'grab n go' concept so you won't have to wait long for your food. My favorites are the carrot soup, chicken tenders and the vegan spring roll. (Pictured) They also bottle up the Goddess Dressing. And of course, the folks there are welcoming.

i've seen this restaurant a couple times driving by. The area has a lot of fast food places, and other than teriyaki chicken bowl doesn't have a lot of good choice options. It is so nice to see a place in the area that offers some good options. I walked in today and I guess they were having some difficulty with their staff, because they didn't have the hot food. That did not deter me though. The woman was incredibly helpful, and she showed me where the cold food options were. They also had some soups available. I got the Thai chicken, coconut soup, and one of their salads. Their homemade ranch dressing is really tasty, and their green goddess dressing is very good too. The Thai coconut soup is very good, I definitely recommend.

O M G ... If…read morecommitment issues were a place, it would be Sawmill Market. This is where you go when no one can agree on anything and somehow everyone wins. Pizza, pho, coffee, cocktails, ice cream, tacos , brewery, sweets , sushi , clay pot , European bakery , something vaguely healthy to balance it out, it is all here under one very aesthetic roof. Set inside a restored industrial space, the whole vibe leans effortlessly cool with open air seating, big windows, loud music and that buzzy energy of people grazing their way through dinner . You order from different vendors, regroup at a table, and pretend you planned it that way. It is chaotic in the besttttt way. Surprisingly we did not have long lines or long waits and found a table very quickly upstairs . The food? Hit or miss depending on where you land, but the variety is the real star. Come with a group, order too many things, and share everything. Just know you are paying a little extra for the ambiance and convenience, which feels very on brand for a place like this. Would I come back? Absolutely. It is not just a meal, it is an experience, and sometimes that is exactly what you want. One of the best food halls I've been to in a while.

It's got something like a dozen different food outlets to please everyone. There are a couple of bar setups, too, that looked like fun. We got tacos, and some Vietnamese dishes and enjoyed them a lot. The place has plenty of tables, an upstairs area, and a large screen tv to take in while you dine. ... we enjoyed the experience so much that we went back a second night, and got noodle dishes, poke bowls, and a salad bowl. (We took these to go and went up the sandia tram and ate at picnic tables overlooking the city) Everything we ate was really good, and reasonably priced. And there are very many vegetarian options, and at least a few vegan ones, too. People say parking can be a hassle, but we didn't experience that. But the lot is small for the space size, so I can see how it could be an issue.

The place was nearly empty, which made it easy for everyone to quickly get what they wanted to eat, and we found a table that accommodated our large group. There was some initial confusion for those who had never been here before, but everyone figured it out quickly. I did receive some incorrect information about where to find a glass of water. One of the food vendors pointed me to the bar, but no one was working, so I ended up going without water. I'd recommend adding some water fill stations throughout the space so guests can stay hydrated without having to hunt down a glass of water.

I ended up ordering the Pondy Pit Stop, which is lemonade and a New Mexican lime lager. Sounds very refreshing for this time of year. Sadly I was bummed to see it was just smiths lemonade poured into my glass. I think I preferred a fresher taste. It also felt like the bartender is getting to know the menu still hence why I'll give it some time and come back in the future. All in all it's a cute spot and I wish it well.

First off, we ordered the vegetable egg rolls for an appetizer, I do not recommend them since they are frozen ones. They were tasteless while the interior of these rolls were mushy, though the duck sauce was quite tasty it could not overcome these appetizers. Our entrees came next, my husband asked about the serving size and he was told a plate only fed one person, not true. The plate serves two. Anyway, the Kung Pao Chicken has really good flavor, was spicy and served with a side of steamed white rice. My husband's entree was Orange Chicken and nothing spectacular about it. But what will keep us from ever going back was that as we sat in the restaurant eating I started to smell cigarette smoke. It became more pronounced and I realized they were smoking in the kitchen and had the door open to where we were sitting. With that revelation my husband quickly got us out of there...the cigarette smoking inside the kitchen is a total dealbreaker.
