N3. Spicy Noodle with soy pepper steak
    Maritza M.

Came for dinner after a movie nearby. Took a booth after being offered to sit where we liked. The service was attentive and we ordered spring rolls, a thai iced coffee, the spicy noodles with soy pepper steak, and the soy orange chicken. We easily ate all the food, so I think the portions are about average (we skipped lunch and were hungry). The noodles were well cooked, but not amazing. I was expecting something more along the flavor profile of drunken noodles; this was simpler. The soy pepper steak was good but not that abundant. The orange soy chicken was phenomenal. Easily the best fake meat I've had in Albuquerque. Super crispy and great texture overall. The sauce was very sweet but I liked it anyway. A table near us had ordered the same dish and their portion seemed much larger; my partner suggested that perhaps they had gotten the real chicken version. The entire orange chicken entree had about 8 pieces, and no broccoli or other veggies. I get that prices had gone up but would have appreciated something besides the rice and lettuce for those 8 pieces, when the dish costs $14. Overall, I would go back for the excellent fake meat (worth a star on its own), but it is on the expensive side for what you get and so it won't be a regular stop.

They've got a great extensive menu of choices for vegans and vegetarians. I wish it was still all vegan, but oh well. The fake meat is delicious, especially the yummy fake chick'n. There are great appetizers, noodle dishes, curries... Many tasty options. I had a really nice meal here with a group of friends. And the heart-shaped purple rice is a cute touch.

Ordered inside and food was made within 10m. It also our first visit so we had lots of questions which the staff was happy to answer. My boyfriend had the spicy fried rice with chicken and beef added. He even got it level 5 spicy but was still not hot enough for him but he did enjoy it. I had the pad thai dinner added chicken. It also came with a salad and two egg rolls I loved all of it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a filling meal. Prices were also reasonable given the to go portion size and how quick they made our meals. One thing we didn't enjoy as much was the spring rolls. They were tasty but lacked more veggies and nothing was in the middle of them. Overall we enjoyed our meals and would visit again.

Delicious vegan Food by far! The staff was so friendly! We have small children and the staff were always so sweet to them. The orange soy chicken was my favorite. Really crispy and the sauce wasnt too sweet but just right. Everything was good! Good food and awesome customer service= we'll be coming back when we come through here again and recommend to others.

Absolutely delicious vegan Thai food, with legitimately "Thai spicy" options for the adventurous. We ordered takeout from here for dinner one evening using their online ordering system. We requested everything "Thai spicy", and that did the trick to get things as spicy as we like it. We got: -Pumpkin curry with soy pepper steak ($11.95). This was the crown jewel of our order: savoury, rich, complex, decadent, and pants-shittingly spicy curry, with succulent pieces of squash, fresh veggies and "steak". Damn, this was amazing. 5/5 -Spicy noodles with soy chicken ($11.95). Maybe the least amazing dish of the order, as the noodles were not quite as good as the top pad see ew's out there, but this was super tasty nonetheless and amply spicy. 4.5/5 -American broccoli with tofu ($11.95). As good as a mixed veg dish can be -- lots of broccoli, carrot, onion and tofu, sauced with a beautiful garlicy soy sauce, and garnished with basil. Yum. 5/5 All in all, this was even better than our meal at Thai Vegan the night before. So if you want top-quality and amply spicy vegan Thai food in ABQ, give this place a try. Very impressive and highly recommended.

I ordered twice from here during my stay in Albuquerque. The first night I had Shrimp Pasta delivered to the hotel room. Once I was face down in that food, I didn't come up. It was creamy with Avocado and chilies. Not spicy but perfectly balanced. Last night we dined in. It was almost a completely empty dining room. Service was exceptional. I had a pot of ginger tea, pumpkin curry and a few appetizers. The Hot Wings were in a BBQ sauce. Juicy. Everything was delicious. My friend asked why the place wasn't packed. She said it was a hidden gem. .

I went to try this place out with one of my vegetarian friends since we were curious about vegan-style food. This place really does an earnest job at taking Thai food, turning it vegan, and presenting it nicely. With the various substitutions used, there are some textural and flavor differences that will come across, but knowing that it is void of animal products is really impressive. I ended up getting the Pad Thai and found it to be a tad too sweet and the consistency a bit too condensed, but overall pretty true to what was expected. It came with a little side salad and two egg rolls which were a nice complement to the dish that helped to break it up texturally. Lastly, as far as service goes, I had to dock it down a bit because of the wait to get service. It took a surprising amount of time to get some more water and our bill even though it was not terribly busy. All in all, it's nice to know that there is a place like this in the city and I'd recommend it to those curious about vegan food.

Fresh Ginger with Soy Chicken, soooo good!

Returned as my first eating stop on landing in Albuquerque. The food remains excellent, and the service and cooking are exceptional. The Salmon teriyaki bowl was enough for two, and the vegetable fried dumplings and iced coconut Thai coffee were outstanding. This is in my top five restaurants of all time. Right up there with the Inn at Little Washington and the Russian Tea House in NYC. If you haven't tried this (especially on a regular week night) you are doing yourself a disservice. But you come here for the food, not the ambience- although there is nothing really wrong with that either. Am even getting a vegan beef fresh ginger to go for lunch tomorrow. It's that good.

We came around 3:30pm so we could catch the masala chai happy hour. I love masala chai and rarely have the chance to get freshly made dairy-free chai. I was disappointed basically from the first moment after walking inside. The server greeted us by announcing, "We are out of vegetables today." I didn't know how this was possible; eventually, she explained that they had run out of the "veggies of the day" that come with certain dishes such as the yogi plate; they were still able to provide vegetables in other dishes like the kitchari. But I was shocked, since I love vegetables, and their veggies of the day are so prominently advertised. I asked if the other location had vegetables available today. The server was unable to tell me. We decided to place our order anyway. I had some questions about the baked goods, since I rarely get the chance to have desserts that are vegan and seed oil-free. I was curious if any of the baked goods was entirely oil-free or at least free of coconut oil. The server seemed very unmotivated to help me figure this out. When I asked about ingredients, she just repeatedly pointed me to the labels on the cookies that denoted the type of sugar each one contained as well as certain allergens, but did not have full ingredient lists. I asked if the chef or manager might be available to clarify certain ingredients, only to be told that "the chef usually only works in the mornings." I was at a loss, and eventually, with some obvious reluctance, the server went into the kitchen to ask one of the cooks about the ingredient lists. The server returned saying "Yes, the majority of the items have coconut oil." Ummmm the majority? Which ones, exactly? At this point, I gave up and just did not order dessert. I tried to order an iced chai which they were out of. I ended up getting a hot chai as well as kitchari and dal. The chai was pretty average. It wasn't particular spicy nor particularly hot. The kitchari and dal were actually incredibly delicious. It's rare to find a restaurant that doesn't use excessive salt; these dishes were perfectly seasoned with warm, nourishing spices and very little (if any?) salt. Even the fact that they were served basically lukewarm didn't detract from how much I enjoyed them. This place seems truly special and I don't know if my experience was an exception. I really wanted to love them, but they made it pretty difficult, despite having great and healthy food.

It's in a historic area but the inside is chic, modern, and lively. Bold paint colors, unique bar and table sets, and they even have chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. He also, was friendly and funny, and took care of us without hovering but was somehow always there when we needed something. It was truly amazing! They had a blackberry shrub, which is non-alcoholic, that I was able to add alcohol to and it was delicious! We also had the calamari for an appetizer and it was beautifully done, perfectly cooked, with light breading, and excellent sauces to dip it in. They initially brought out the queso in two small plastic to-go containers. I was not very thrilled with that. Then, when we polished them off, they brought out some more in a small serving dish. Why we didn't get the dish in the first place is beyond me. The queso was good, but I didn't think much of the chicharron. My husband like it though. The server did an excellent job keeping our drinks filled. We placed our order, and it wasn't too long that our orders came out. I got the combination plate, red sauce, ground beef taco. My husband thought he ordered the enchilada plate, but the chile relleno plate came out instead. He told them that was fine. The ground beef taco was so delicious. The chile relleno was pretty good, and the cheese enchiladas were okay, even though it was like they were barely there. The pinto beans, not refried beans, were also enjoyed. What really set them apart was their papas - those potatoes were soft and super flavorful. Their red sauce was spicy and flavorful. The server brought out two fresh and hot sopapillas. We poured honey on those things bite by bite. I honestly think those were the best sopapillas I've had. I also used the restroom before we left. It might need a little updating, but it was certainly clean.
