Bee Banh Mi is a quick, cute counter-service Vietnamese cafe. Sparse and simple inside. Staff was friendly and ordering was easy. I had the grilled pork Banh Mi. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Bread was flaky with a chewy texture. Not the most traditional or authentic Banh Mi I've ever had, but it hit the spot for a quick lunch. Not quite a 5-star experience overall. But a very solid 4+. I will definitely be back for some pho and look forward to updating my review soon.

The banh mis are now my go to healthy and quick meal, literally so good!!! I got the pork banh mi and I knew it was going to be good as soon as I opened the box. Packed with veggies and meat, this is a well balanced sandwich with bright flavors in each bite. This is a chill local spot with plenty of seating inside and would be great for a casual dinner or lunch.

Bee Banh Mi is a very solid Vietnamese option with some fantastic food. Tucked away in a strip mall that is just off of the main road, this place seems to be a bit of a hidden gem. I mean, if I didn't know this restaurant existed, then I'd have no reason to ever travel down the side road that this place is on. But it is definitely worth it, they've got some great options and an item that you wouldn't expect to be amazing. As their name would suggest, Bee Banh Mi does a pretty decent job with their Banh Mi. I order the pork Banh Mi and it was a pretty hefty sandwich, but was well put together. The texture balance was spot on, the bread was crisp and not too soggy on the inside. The vegetables were fresh and had a nice crunch to them and the meat was tender. The flavors were also complimentary of each other. The pickled veggies countered the fattiness of the pork and the pork itself could be individually identified and had a nice bit of spice to it. I've also had their rice plate with pork. It came with a salad and some fish sauce. I think it was a pretty good dish, but the Banh Mi is a better bang for your buck. Something about taking a bite of different textures in flavors just resonates more with me. However, Bee Banh Mi's big surprise isn't a Vietnamese item, it is their french fries, particularly their chipotle dipping sauce. This side dish has a bit of a cult following, at least, among my group of friends. Sometimes they just come here to order a few orders of their fries, it is simply that good. Not only are they seasoned heavily, but the sauce is top tier. It's got a hint of sweetness with a bit of flare. I think it's better than my favorite Zaxby's dipping sauce or even Canes Sauce. It's crazy to think I am even raving this much about a french fry. As much as I think Bee Banh Mi makes great food, I think I don't come out here as often because their hours can be so unpredictable. I had an event here once and I drive out to find out the restaurant was just closed. On another instance, it seemed as if they were closing early so we weren't able to get the full representation of the business. Despite this, the few times I have been able to pull up, I've been treated to some delicious food and a good experience. I hope others can find this hidden spot!

I stopped by Bee Banh Mi for the first time recently, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's a small, casual spot in a strip mall, with bright yellow walls and cute bee-themed decor that really leans into the name. I ordered the pork banh mi--figured I had to try the namesake--and it hit the spot. The baguette was crispy, the pork was flavorful, and the pickled carrots added a nice tang that balanced everything out. For just $8, it felt like a great deal. Quick service & solid food--I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

A trip to this nondescript shopping center yielded a fresh and delicious lunch. The fries weren't quite as special as the other reviews seemed to suggest, but they were still fries and I was hungry. My banh mi with tofu was available with a garlic chili sauce for no extra charge, which was fantastic. A Thai tea was ample. And frankly, I still can't believe how good the price was for that lunch special. I had this place on my list for a while and hadn't made it because they weren't open Sundays, but if you're looking for lunch on a weekday, this is quality stuff.

Came for the Yelp Elite event and I am SO happy I was able to attend. I ordered the pork Banh Mi with a side of fries and a Thai tea. First, let's start with the inside. Super cute and cozy seating. There is a kiosk you can order from or there was someone present to take your order as well. I loved the Bee Decor! Adds some flare to the restaurant forsure. I had no trouble finding parking and they also had some outdoor seating available for a nice day. Ok, let's get to the food. I'm not sure if it was the owner I met, but he was very nice! He said he prepared my food for me and that I was going to experience a lot of flavors in this meal. And let me tell you, he did not LIE. The sandwich itself was so flavorful. Idk what they marinated that pork in, but kudos to them for doing so. The sandwich was topped with jalapeño, carrots, cilantro and pickled cucumber? We aren't sure what it was, but does that really matter when we devoured it? Not really. The fries were seasoned to perfection without being salty. It is very hard to achieve this. Another head nod. Also, the sauce is very much giving 'can I order a larger batch of it next time?' Because it is DELICIOUS. It's sweet with a variety of flavors we couldn't pinpoint, but once again, devoured. The Thai tea was also delicious. I truly had no complaints with this meal. My man had some and asked when are we going back lol. There were many other things to order besides the sandwich as well. Lots of options to choose from. So I definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

Bee Banh Mi is pretty good. It seems like a little bit of a twist on authentic Vietnamese, and I love authentic Vietnamese food. The Thai tea was phenomenal-a perfect sweetness. The grilled pork noodle salad is a delicious option. I love that Bee Banh Mi is in this area since there aren't any other Vietnamese restaurants close by. Also, the employees are very friendly and parking is a piece of cake!

I found Bee Banh Mi restaurant by accident because a lot of restaurants does not open between lunch and dinner hours. We are so happy here. Authentic food, homestyle Vietnamese sausage and marinated grilled meat. Also the noodle soup broth is really good compared to other Pho restaurants. The restaurant is really comfortable laid-back environment, good price, great service. We are looking forward to come here again when we in the area. read more

We tried the grilled chicken Banh Mi, French fries, summer roll, sunshine pina coloda and fried egg roll. French fries were over cooked, egg rolls were definitely store bought frozen, Banh Mi was okay - the bread was average, the ingredients were okay. The smoothie was overly sweet and tasted artificial. The summer roll with sausage was okay. There are better options in the area - I don't think we'll recommend this place to our friends. read more

A first time visit in a quaint location and many order placed to go. I opted for something gluten free and the salad with chicken protein and a sunset smoothie. The perso taking order was kind and patient. The food arrived somewhat quickly. Smoothie first and wow, pina coloda a bit too sweet. I would have preferred something with pineapple and mango. What could be bad with the salad? Chicken was fine and the dressing was on the side; however, there was so much liquid or water at the bottom and did not enjoy that. I stopped by another time to try smoothie with spinach. I thought I saw "fresh" ingredients and/or frozen not sure but possibly a mix for liquid. Sadly, I did not see it being made other than ice from cooler into blender. It was fine but not sure worth going out of the way driving there. Overall 3.5 stars. Will update with pics. read more

I will forever suggest this place to anyone who enjoys great food at a great price. Also, the woman behind the counter always has a warm and positive attitude. This is the first review I have ever written. I feel sorry for those who have never eaten a Banh Mi, it is undoubtedly the BEST sandwich in the world, bar none. I cannot begin to convey and describe how incredibly delicious and perfect the sandwich that Bee Banh Mi makes available to those of us who crave this mouthwatering sensational delight. I had the pork and beef Banh Mi's and both were perfectly magic, the best I have ever had. The meats were deep and rich in flavor, and extremely plentiful. The vegetables and aromatics were fresh and vibrant, and the bread was toasted to perfection. We are very fortunate to have Bee Banh Mi. The store just opened so we gave it a try. I'm Vietnamese and have been on the hunt for a good banh mi in the Triangle. This is it. The signature banh mi with pork sausage was to die for. Have not had this good banh mi since California! The baguette was soft crispy, which is the perfect state for a good authentic Vietnamese banh mi, and the pork sausage is very tasty and smells delicious. Pickled carrot and daikon were perfectly pickled and blended so well with the bread and meat. So good I tried the grilled pork banh mi. It's also very good, but the signature banh mi is my favorite. Wow! I do not know where to begin! Bee Banh Mi is a must taste! This is excellent and authentic Pho with amazing and savory spices at its best. I've tried others in the area, but Bee Banh Mi is definitely the winner in our family's book of restaurants. I love the fact that you can season to your liking without over-heating the taste pallet. The staff is always wonderful with such a quaint unassuming atmosphere. The Thai and Bobba are deliciously made every time. My favorite Vietnamese dish is banh mi so when I heard a place in Cary opened that specializes in them I had to give it a try and it did not disappoint. The beef and chicken were great and the tea was much needed for those fresh jalapeños. The dumpling were worth a try also. it is a delightful little restaurant. I had the Bee Banmi Signature and it was delicious. Its fairly busy at lunch, so it takes a bit to get your meal, but it was worth it. I recommend it. read more

Excellent food! I've been looking for a decent place with vegan pho, and I found one! Prices were very good, the food came out fast, and the staff were all pleasant. Counter serve, nothing fancy in the restaurant, but you don't come for the ambiance, just the food! Will look forward to trying the banh mi next time. read more

I was a high school teacher in Vietnam, came to the USA 9 years ago, living in the West Coast and moved to NC in 2023 to run Bee Banhmi as a new owner and have built it as a trusted kitchen to the customers. With a clear mission and core values for the brand and its food, and a fresh mind in food industry, I've tried to serve good food to customers, supported my team and growed the business. I appreciate them having a water jug so you can get a cup of water on your own. The California stack was big and good. Flavors blend really well. My husband and I came to have lunch at Bee Banh Mi for the first time recently and the food was very tasty. I am a pescatarian/vegetarian and it's hard sometimes for me to find something on the menu that I can have. I ordered the Five Colors Salad with Shrimp and it was really good. It had a lot of flavor and it was very fresh and the shrimp was cooked the way I like it. The price was also excellent! We will definitely be back. I also ove how the restaurant is women owned. Also, I want to point out that "Rosalind A." who left a 1 star review for Bee Banh Mi, also recently left 92 consecutive 1-star reviews in our area. It seems that this person is doing this on purpose to hurt our area small businesses. I flagged this user to Yelp. Please also flag this user to help remove this type of negativity. Bee Banh Mi is the biggest scam in Apex. The food is stingy, greasy, and dirty -- spring rolls are two shrimp sliced in half to trick you, the fried rice is raw and hard, and their pho came with plastic and HAIR in it. My daughter waited over an hour just to be ignored, and they didn't even bother to give us utensils. The place is filthy, the service is trash, and the owner is a rude, cheap beggar who hounds people for fake 5-star reviews instead of fixing her joke of a restaurant. The owner I repeat THE OWNER AND HER STAFF BEG FOR 5 Star reviews. You can't make it up. I've read several reviews mentioning the SAME things and how soggy and cold the fries are and how the spring rolls are terribly filleted that they break when you even touch it.
