Such a charming little bakery. You can tell it's a neighborhood favorite--the regulars were already settled in and enjoying their morning meals. The staff were warm, friendly, and patient in explaining the menu to us as first‑timers.

A hidden gem in Oakhurst! Very cute decor with plants and sewing machines. I went there on mother's day weekend for a late brunch and there was a long wait, almost an hour. So be prepared to wait. The service and the food made it worth the wait! I ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice for my drink. My omelette and potatoes were delicious!! Will definitely be back!

*Feb 2026 - Best Corned Beef Hash EVER! I heard this is a new item on the menu? A KEEPER!!

Oh my goodness this little cafe offers a BIG party of many treats!! And not just sweets! Came here again on a hopping Sunday late morning with our family who lives part time in Oakhurst... such a cute place! Truly amazing because they make everything homemade here! And their coffee is so good! They offer a wide variety of coffee drinks too. Their breakfast menu is awesome! And I literally had the best corned beef hash I've ever had! I highly recommend coming here! You won't be disappointed! The community feels are beyond welcoming! Must try!

    Pistachio mocha latte

Wow! Everything was delicious!! The pistachio mocha latte is yum! The banana matcha frappe was amazing! The summer waffle and chicken and waffles were amazing. The waffles were fresh and tasty. The chicken was crispy, tender, moist, and seasoned well! This place is a definite must! The employees are friendly, too!

I ordered the steak and eggs with hash browns, and it was delicious. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, and the over-easy eggs had beautifully runny yolks. We also tried the corned beef hash, which was served on a hot cast-iron plate. It was decent--just didn't quite stand out for me, but still an enjoyable dish overall. Service is counter-order style: you place your order up front, grab a number, and sit wherever you like. The staff brings the food out to your table, and seating is open with no set rotation. The restaurant has a charming vintage décor with a cozy café-style diner vibe, though there isn't counter seating. Overall, it's a nice breakfast/brunch spot and a great place to stop on your way out of Fish Camp.

Great brunch spot if you are traveling to Yosemite. Their country fried steak was juicy and super flavorful. My wife loved their chicken and waffles, the sweet and savory combination made the meal nice and balanced. Our son had their corn beef hash, which was also good, would've been perfect with a pinch of salt less. The only thing we didn't like was their coffee. Their Toffe Nut Caramel Coffee was way too sweet, make sure you order it with 25% sugar!

Cute cafe with old school charm Had the almond danish Orange scone Bees breakfast burrito with bacon Order at the counter or at your table, for quick and efficient service. The pastry was good, fresh, and had the right amount of sweetness. The burrito was good, and I had it in Yosemite 2 hours later, still held up in form. It's not big enough for sharing if you're really hungry.

Charming little bakery / cafe in the Oakhurst area which acted as a timely pitstop as we made our way up to Yosemite from Orange County. Loved the cozy interior that gave the feel of a local mom and pop shop. Skip the fancy schmancy and instead focus on the nostalgia. Enjoyed perusing the old school typewriters, artwork, and knick knacks throughout. We ordered a couple breakfast items, coffee, and of course the infamous almond croissant. Portions are hefty and satiating, staff at the counter are friendly, and the almond croissant itself makes the visit worth it. Really enjoyed out drop-in and would recommend Bee's to others.

I finally got to try Bee's Bakery and I can honestly say everything was so good. The iced lavender latte with extra shot of espresso was my favorite drink, it was super smooth, refreshing, and the lavender flavor wasn't overpowering at all. I was able to customize my own bagel with an everything bagel, with eggs over medium with two strips of bacon, and a garlic sauce. But the blueberry lemon danish completely stole the show for me. It was soft, buttery, and had the perfect balance of sweet blueberry and tangy lemon flavor. You can really tell they put care into their pastries. Definitely one of those cute spots I'll keep coming back to before we head the day to Yosemite!

The food was delicious and everything tasted fresh. The service was amazing -- everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and had a great experience overall. Definitely recommend this place!

Amazing experience! The staff was very friendly! The inside is spacious and beautiful. They have a great selection of pastries and breakfast food. The coffee was nice as well! We tried the lemon blueberry pastry and it was so flaky and delicious! I was nervous the coffee was going to be too sweet because I got the chocolate covered strawberry latte but it was the perfect balance! The croissant sandwich is a nice size and we found out the croissant is homemade! I'm so glad we stopped here before leaving town! Thank you!!

We stopped to have brunch on our way to Yosemite and this spot was so cute! It looks like a thrift store on the inside with a lot of vintage items. It was a busy Sunday and they messed up on some of our plates but they were happily able to remake them but it took a while due to traffic. The average american meals were good but the avocado toast was not good if you're used to authentic sourdough bread and cheese, I would not recommend. I had the crispy chicken Sandwitch and I give it a 6/10 because I prefer my chicken to be more seasoned but it hit the spot. The service was nice.

They know their stuff here. We loved the staff here. Very friendly and helpful, I loved complimenting the baristas on their craft and passing along the cheerfulness from the cashier who was very welcoming. They were very methodical and consistent with each drink, it seems. The shop was cute, with ample parking. The patio was busy-ish with people flocking in and out to pick up their orders once their name was called. I liked the combination of rustic and modern decorations, making for AN EXCELLENT stop before heading in or out of Yosemite. I ordered the Bleu salad add chicken and a piece of cheesecake. Delicious! Fire pit outside . I'm super happy that the owner supports the local breweries.. I'm also disappointed because I like a cold Modelo. I picked the location based on a restaurant and bar to avoid driving somewhere. Can the owner read this and add Coors light, Modelo and a white claw? Could be a fun local hangout. Everyone knows regulars keep the lights on. Sophia was awesome. Kept busy and the place was clean and tidy. It was nice to chat to her while I started to unwind from work before bed. I found it interesting because I had to work late a couple of nights that all the restaurants and places were closed. A few weeks ago I was traveling downtown Sonora and there was a restaurant there that actually opened at 7 PM. While traveling for work chitchatting to the folks, he learned that there was no place for people to eat. The place was packed because all of the people came from Yosemite and stayed in Sonora. In the past the had nowhere to eat. I heard it twice in the short time I was there! Also people who live in different countries don't always eat the same hours we do. While walking in, I thought to myself "it's gorgeous, why didn't we stay here again?" and then remembered because all of their low ratings as a hotel are due to poor service. The receptionist at the entrance is very bleh (didn't even greet us, she just looked at us so we said hello first ). We sat down and ordered. We were the only customers. The girl who took our order was nice enough but lacked professionalism. She just seemed out of it. She didn't write down our order, but a few minutes later came back saying "wait what did you for your entree again?". I'm glad she double checked, but for the price of the food and aesthetic of the restaurant, I expected better service. I ordered the wagyu burger but wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked - I assume they only cook it well-done because that's how it came. It didn't have the juicy buttery flavor of Wagyu, or really any flavor at all. The bread was good. The fries are phenomenal and I liked that more than my burger Carrots & whipped ricotta was good but not great - very flat flavor profile of ricotta, honey, and carrots. I think this dish could've been better with some acidity like a bit of lemon on the side. The chicken pesto penne pasta was good, but still flat. It would be better with cherry tomatoes or something to give it depth. The pasta was cooked perfectly Despite the chicken being absolutely tiny (approx 4"), it was juicy. Wish there was more of it I didn't care for the butternut squash soup but my husband liked it. It had good flavor but was very thin. Overall the place is pretty, but I wouldn't return as the food was very forgettable. It's a shame that the best thing was the side of fries. I'm giving a 4 due to the food tasting clean/quality.

That is exactly what happened during my recent dinner at Elderberry House. I visited with a group of four, and between us, we had two gluten-free diners and one vegetarian. After a quick heads-up the day before, the restaurant handled our needs with total ease. We went for the five-course tasting menu, and it was incredible from start to finish. We kicked things off with one of the best oysters I have ever had, followed by a beautiful tuna presentation. The kitchen even looked out for our gluten-free friends with a special version of their herbal-butter focaccia that was actually delicious. By the time the main courses arrived, I honestly could not decide if I liked my beef or my friend's snap pea risotto better; every single bite was pure perfection. The cocktails were another high point. My first drink was great, but after chatting with our server, Jordan, I decided to try the Last Word. It featured that hard-to-find green chartreuse, and I am a little annoyed to report that I have a new favorite cocktail that requires such a rare ingredient. The service is what really made the night so special. Jordan was so charismatic and helpful, making sure we were perfectly taken care of all evening. He was so good that I almost worried a second visit would not be the same without him, though the rest of the staff quickly put that fear to rest. Abby was so friendly and responsible for a truly unique but perfect-for-the-vibe playlist, and Chris the mixologist even stopped by to geek out about gin and cocktails with us. From the genuine care for our food sensitivities to the clever touch of the iPad check-in hidden in an elegant binder, it was a night for the books. I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to bringing my family next!
