The biscuit & gravy was not biscuits but ONE biscuit that was dry as hell. The gravy was very bland no flavor what so ever, I was so excited to eat here. The hash browns were not good whatever butter or oil was used on the hashbrowns that's all you could taste when you take a bite. I paid $15 PER plate so I spent $35 on biscuits & gravy that we couldn't take more than two bites of. I tried to come here again, thinking that it changed from when they first opened but I do not recommend their breakfast maybe their biscuits and scones but they need a new cook. The person cooking looked like she was not trained correctly. She was very young and the portions were just a no for me. The food was ok here. Just a mix of breakfast and lunch foods. The omelet was a little odd for me. Everything was just folded inside of the eggs. The service was good, you order at the counter and they bring it to the table. The inside was not quite my thing, it was like walking into someone's house. The problem was like I see mentioned a lot the orders take awhile to be ready. Grab something pre-made if you are in a hurry. I had a breakfast burrito ( country style ) it was very bland even with gravy. I cannot say it was memorable. It seemed fresh and just lacked in flavors. I did get a bear claw that had good flavor. My boyfriend and I stopped at this adorable cafe for brunch and it was so good we came back every morning for the rest of our trip. The people are all super sweet and patient even though they have to deal with some of the dumbest people I've ever seen. The pastries were all so delicious (I highly recommend the sausage roll with cheese and garlic). The coffee was delicious and we have yet to try anything that we didn't like. Also I mean come on it's called Bee's how cute is that! Bee's Bakery is a fairly new establishment and of course I had to give it a try as I love brunch and Oakhurst has been needing a great brunch spot forever. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing with vintage decor pieces sprinkled throughout. I love how spacious the outdoor patio is with self serve water stations and plenty of seating. All of the staff I came in contact with were courteous and engaging. I ordered an iced coffee, scone,berries and Cream Waffle, and bacon and egg chipotle Croissant. The baked items were delicious! However, the Bacon,Egg,and Chipotle Croissant was not good. The bacon wasn't crispy enough and my egg was overcooked. We didn't even know this place was here. They aren't open all day and came 2 days, which they have different items. The first time we went we got a giant cinnamon roll, chocolate raspberry muffin, chocolate brioche roll and 2 Italian sodas. The cinnamon roll was very good, the bottom had homemade carmel and my daughter gobbled it down. The choc raspberry muffin my mom said was tasty but dry. The brioche roll was a dollop of chocolate on top, tasted like pudding. It was not soft like brioche usually is, a little dry. The Italian sodas were terrible. Was like seltzer water. I looked up Italian soda and it says you are supposed to use 1.5oz syrup. One squirt is .25oz so 6 squirts should be used. I asked them to put more flavoring in. She did two separate times and I said a couple more squirts, she said "well I put 3 squirts" she was getting irritated so I said ok thats fine. So we threw both of our drinks away because they were nasty. The second day we went, some lady customer had a bug up her butt. We were in line and some people cut in front of us, no biggie because we weren't in a rush. So we stepped forward and this lady rolled her eyes with a rotten attitude, "Um Im in line." I said so are we, we have been in line, go ahead. She said "Well I don't know what I want, but Im in line." I said that we weren't in any rush, since she's in a big hurry, go ahead. She literally stood there for 10 minutes deciding what she wanted. So not sure what her deal was. We got the blueberry scone, chocolate waffle and berry compote waffle. The Blueberry scone was ruined because they put either orange extract or orange rind. Berry compote waffle- very bitter needs sugar but they have sugar packets in front. Choco waffle- mom said was very good. I wouldn't come back, the only thing worth it was the cinnamon roll. read more

Possibly the best cinnamon roll I've had in my life. It was HUGE and so good-- it's drizzled with what I believe is salted caramel, and it takes it to the next level. We went around 10am on a Sunday and walked right up to order which was nice but I'm sure it's a longer wait in the summer. Service was great. First off I want to say the service here was great! Had a positive interaction from everyone I spoke with, the staff were working hard to make sure everyone got served fast! Came in with my friends after camping in Yosemite, great place for a warm meal! The fries were delicious, and the waffles are *chefs kisses*. This place is super cute. We ended up stopping here for a coffee and baked goods. I ordered the lavender honey latte with almond milk. It was really good. They also have GF options. I had ordered the GF blueberry pineapple upside down bread but unfortunately they gave me the poppy seed one. I did not try the poppy seed bread because I am not a fan, I did give it to another customer there. By the time I noticed there was 10 people in line and I had to get on the road. I did not want to wait to return it, they seem to be popular. The ambiance is very cute and totally 70s style. They have non dairy options which is great. There is ample seating. Bee's Bakery is such a friendly restaurant. The entire staff is nice and polite. The restaurant itself has a very home like feel. I bought the steak eggs and breakfast potatoes. It was from a local vendor - Hillerman's Farm. I ask the counter staff about it, and sure enough, they sold it in the restaurant. They were extremely helpful in my inquiry. We were staying a couple of nights at the Hampton Inn to visit Yosemite and really wished we came here on the first day. We actually made a wrong turn and saw this cafe when we first arrived, but we decided to check it out on the morning of our last day. Anyway, we ordered a blueberry lemon Danish and a cappuccino - both were good. Well baked and light Danish - could probably skip on that frosting, but the blueberry and lemon flavors were quite good to go with the cappuccino. Now the decor of the cafe was very exquisite - vintage things from vintage condiment bar to retro couches and chairs. There were really old vintage sewing machines and various vintage items. It was like walking through a mini museum of vintage items. It felt charming and warm to see these things and to realize how much the owner of this cafe loves antiques. Oh, also there were plenty of air purifier plants for sale. I really wanted to buy some, but we were driving back to the Bay Area and didn't want to torture those little plants. I wished I had more time to just enjoy a breakfast there, but we were hurrying out to make it back to the Bay Area by lunch.
