Beecher's has got to be the best Mac & Cheese I've ever had! And I don't say that lightly. I've had plenty of it in my life. But this was amazing and the cheese they use is so great. The food here is always exceptional regardless of whether it's made at this location or not, you really can't go wrong with Beecher's mac and cheese. Where the 4 star review comes in is the service and employees. Previously when I've come here the workers were really polite and helpful, this time they were way too engaged in conversation amongst themselves to pay any sort of attention to customers. My hands were entirely full and nobody offered me a bag, when I asked for one instead of helping me out and putting my item in the bag he pointed to where the bags were placed, so I had to put everything I was holding down on the floor. The real issue comes into what they were loudly talking about- when you're working at a cheese shop and talking about how you're not interested in cheese and laughing loudly saying things like 'I'm not interested in responsibility' that really tends to reflect poorly on the company you work for. Unfortunately the only other nearby Beecher's option is at Pike Place or I would prefer to go somewhere that cares a little more. read more

Honestly very thing was super fatty and cheesy. I mean I know it's a cheese place I just don't understand why they are opened in the mall. Their menu is kind of limited and the prepackaged sandwiches are not good at all and soggy. The tuna sandwich in particular was very very fishy and the bread was soggy. The grilled cheese was ok but the tomato soup was not good and the croutons had soaked and got all gooey. I will not eat here again, j may buy cheese but not order food. read more

I'm a big fan of Beecher's cheese so I decided to give their new breakfast sandwiches a try. I ordered the cheese and egg sandwich -/ priced at $7.50 I was expecting something pretty terrific. Unfortunately it was a bug disappointment. It the egg is a scrambled into a thin slice mixed with herbs. After a couple of bites the flavor becomes odd. There is hardly any cheese which should really be the star There is no way this is worth $7.50. A breakfast sandwich at Starbucks is more filling and a better value. read more

Stopped by last night to check out the food and coffee. I've enjoyed the Pike location for years but don't go to Bellevue square often. We decided to start with coffee. The barista, wearing a knit hat and glasses, was at the machine making a drink and didn't acknowledge us. For SEVERAL minutes we waited and she never even said hello, just did busy work. So we left. Had such high hopes for this spot and their mac & cheese since I loved their 4 year aged cheddar cheese, which is heavenly and taste like candy!! Came here on a busy Saturday evening, the line was kinda long but moved very quickly. I ordered the small 8 oz mac & cheese that is just jack. penne pasta, and spices. I was lucky so I thought bc the last batch ran out the customer before me, and I was able to get a brand new fresh batch! I envisioned stringy, cheesy goodness with maybe buttery bread crumbs atop but it didn't look like that. It was more watery than I anticipated. I was able to snap a pic before the worker covered it up with the lid. I didn't like the consistency (too watery for me and not cheesy enough) but the flavor itself was good. I think the pasta itself was a bit overcook. An 8 oz serving for $6 is pretty absurd especially when it's not that great unfortunately. They do offer cheese samples, which I didn't partake in. Kinda feel hurried trying cheeses in the mall on a weekend. haha but that's just me. I do wonder if the cheese they sell is cheaper at the actual Beecher's or places they sell at like Whole Foods. As someone who doesn't consider themself much of a cheese lover, I have to say their mac and cheese is addictive! I was worried it would be too rich for me, as lots of cheese products are, but it was perfect. Prices are a bit high, but it's a nice treat when you're in the mood for it! I would also highly recommend their ginger lemonade, it helps cut the fat from the cheese and is super refreshing! Also, a super nice quick treat for any cheese lovers in your life are their two dollar flagship cheese-sticks. read more

While I'm sad to see Specialty's Café go, I'm so excited that Beecher's is here. It's right in the middle of the mall and they have stand up tables which makes it easy to grab a quick meal. I always get their classic mac and cheese and if I'm super hungry their tomato soup. They top their tomato soup with their shredded flagship cheddar and croutons. I've been original pike place store and Seatac airport store many times and I'd enjoyed everytime. But this Bellevue shop is disappointing. Not very friendly staff and what supposed to be the world best is not the best mac and cheese. They were not fresh and mushy. I hope owner or manager fix it to make it better. read more

The coffee and baristas here are poor. An Americano never has the slightest bit of crema for example. The poor quality of coffee here is particularly stunning and disappointing when you consider that this is apparently the same Fonté which has a stellar coffee experience in downtown Seattle. read more

Just spent almost $100 on two Mac's, two soups, a salad, turkey sandwich and a bar of chocolate. The Mac tasted good, but the portions were tiny. Salad had rooted greens and sandwich had a half a slice of turkey in it. Very disappointed in how they take advantage of you with skimping on the food after paying out the nose. read more

I was looking for a good, quick lunch in Bellevue Square. Based on my husband's recommendation, I tried Beecher's. Service was pretty good. I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. The soup was fine, nice and warm, but the sandwich was lacking flavor and cheese. Supposedly they "mixed" up my order with another customer. They took back the sandwich they gave to her, slapped my name on it and gave that sandwich to me. I'd have given it to someone else as well! read more

I have always been a fan of Beecher's cheese. I buy wedges and wedges of the cheese each month. I stopped by for creamy tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. I wanted to warm up from the cold before starting shopping at Bellevue Square. The soup was very good with a fresh tomato taste. It wasn't too sweet or salty. The sandwich was HUGE. It would be nice to just order half a sandwich. Maybe they can add a soup and 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich on the menu. The service is a little slower, probably from the holiday traffic. My friend already finished her mac and cheese before I received my meal. The mac and cheese is very dense and creamy so a small cup is enough for dinner. read more

I love Beecher's cheese and was really excited for the Bellevue location to open but it's been a bit of a mixed bag. I've visited a few times for Mac and cheese, curds, and grilled cheese. It's not immediately clear where you're supposed to order from if there's no line and no one has ever offered to take my order or answer any questions, you just kinda have to pick a person and tell them what you want. The Mac and cheese feels a little overpriced and when I got the grilled cheese the girl randomly slapped it down on the counter so haphazardly I was startled from the table I was waiting at several feet away. My daughter and I don't come to Bellevue Square very often, but we just happened to be in the area and decided to stop in. We were hungry and know Beecher's products pretty well, we're from Seattle after all, we thought a sandwich sounds great. My first problem with this place, was first and foremost the customer service. Maybe the prerequisite on the application said "must have potential to be unfriendly and abrupt"? That's what we experienced for heavens sake. The woman helping us practically barked at us. I've never felt so unwelcome. If there had been any other food place close by, we would have walked out. Still we're thinking Beecher's, so it has to be good. We ordered two sandwiches, a drink and a bag of chips, there we are 22.00 later. Ok the turkey sandwich was nondescript, bread was toasted, hardly any turkey to speak of. The other sandwich, the flagship, I believe the name is, was just as nondescript. Here's the thing, if you like Beecher's, go into Seattle and experience the place there, you'll be happy. This place, no way. To be fair, I did contact them and the person responding from Beecher's was very unapologetic and offered another lunch; then the person at Bellevue, who is in charge, contacted me to offer the same thing. I declined. I don't need to go into Bellevue to get this type of treatment or lack of exciting food. It was costly and come on you can get that anywhere. Beecher's makes great cheese, period, but if they are going to branch out, do it right and know what's going on and how your product is being represented. read more

Worst customer service ever. Stood there looking at some of the packaged salads and wraps for a good 5 minutes w/o anyone asking me if I need help or suggestions. There wasn't any line but there was an employee counting her tips in front for everyone to see. Finally decided what I wanted even though I'd never been there before and it would've been nice to get some help. Walked to the register and the girl finally looked up at me. She rung me up and I have her my card. As I was asking if there was a mall employee discount she swiped my card. In response to my question she replies "no, you have to let me know before I swipe it." Wtf? You can't return it and process it again? Or give a further explanation? Plus she contradicted herself by saying no, but followed up w/ I was supposed to let her know before hand? So is there or isn't there a mall employee discount? I was so excited to see a Beecher's Cheese arrive on the eastside. The Pike Place Market location is a favorite and you can never get enough of their wonderful Flagship Cheese! The store itself looks wonderful and there are so many options, from to-go food, beverages, cheese, coffee, it's one-stop shopping. The staff is hardworking and friendly and seems to really care. I went in to get a wrap. The wrap was soaking wet from the packaging. I went to ask for another one and the server was extremely rude to me about my disappointment with the wrap. She told me "that's just the way they are packaged" and brought out her manager. The manager told me if I didn't like it to get another one. The manager was just as rude as the server and acted like I was an idiot for not wanting to eat a soaking wet wrap. When I chose another one I went to eat it, but it had the same problem. I went back to ask for a refund but when I went to the register the server said she "would have to get the manager again...". I could over hear the manager when the server asked her to come out say "seriously she is back again". I told her I couldn't eat it and would just like a refund. She very rudely told me to just give her my card. She swiped my card, handed it back to me and walked away. It's clear to me they don't ever want me back again.
