My $10 sandwich next to my $10 chili. Ripoff Alert!!!!

Well I tried Potbelly and it must be the people that own this place that have the Potbelly!! Sure the chili was good but wth this is a $10 chili. Rip off alert!!! What are you trying to get rich off your customers!!! Scammers!! $10 sandwich where's the beef!!!! This place is yawn and done!!

Where is the beef ? Look at the presentation

It's below average sandwich shop. I had a roast beef sandwich today during our office lunch and it looked as if it was made by a 10 years kid. Neither taste or the presentation were good. I will not place another order from there.

Busy yet still efficient on a weekday

Besides the doors being heavy as heck to open to even enter this sandwich shop...it's a great lunch spot for sandwich lovers! Do try any of their vegetarian sandwiches, soups of the day and all their cookies! So delicious. I also like the fact that they carry Zapps chips here. Those are way more legit than most potato chip brands. Service here is A-OK. Not overly friendly, however, at least not rushing and rude.

The only reason they are even getting 2 stars is the actually got my order right on Wednesday and the sandwich was delicious. Made the same order through Door Dash (just like Weds) and, man, don't know who was working today (08.30.18) but they need to fired. Ordered the tomato mozzarella sandwich with basil pesto and feta with macaroni salad on the side. I received a basil pesto with feta cheese on flatbread. No tomato. No mozzarella. No spinach. Nowhere on the menu does it say you have to request those items even though there is a section where you can click tomatoes and mozzarella along with a bunch of other items. Why the hell would I even think to click tomatoes or mozzarella when it is a freaking TOMATO AND MOZZARELLA SANDWICH. Here is their description on door dash: Fresh Mozz and provolone toasted and then topped with spinach, tomatoes, basil pesto and balsamic drizzle on FLATS. Does it look like I got any of that?! On top of that, no fork or spoon for the macaroni salad and had no access at the time to get one. I was hungry so I ended up eating that pathetic excuse of a "sandwich" and eating the macaroni salad with my hands. Door Dash would only refund me $4. Never. Ever. Again will I EVER order from this place again. Seriously, how the hell does one even begin to screw up a TOMATO AND MOZZARELLA SANDWICH?! It even tells you in the name what goes on it.

Close up of the mold I discovered on the sandwich I just ordered and had delivered to me.

FOOD SAFETY! - Just ordered this morning (8/26/21) from the this potbelly in Bellevue. Ordered thru UberEats. Besides the fact that the delivery was late and took 1 hr and 13 mins to deliver...When it arrived 30 mins ago, I started eating the Italian sandwich only to find out after taking multiple bites, the BREAD HAD MOLD ON IT! How does any establishment let something like that happen??? I would have posted this review sooner than 30 mins, but I had to waste time submitting a food safety issue form with UberEats. Don't know if I can order from this store again. If you read this...buyer beware.

The menu is quite small with three cold sandwiches and three hot ones, each inspired by a different region of the globe with the South Pacific, South America and Mediterranean as a few examples. There were two salads listed as well. I've been here twice and both times, when I went to place my order on the iPad, the menu stated they were out of stock for the sandwich that I wanted. However, when I asked the employee, she said that was not correct. So if you see the same message when ordering, it's worth asking about it! During my first visit, I ordered the RENDANG ($14). This hot sandwich came packed with SO much meat! Very tender chunks of marinated beef tasted of coconut, curry and warm spices. The flavor had true depth and I could actually taste hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Thin spears of pickled cucumber and carrot added crunch and a perfect zing of acidity. They were refreshing and cut through the rich beef. A drizzle of Sambal Terasi (chili) aioli gave it another layer of flavor. Cilantro, mint and Thai basil were all fresh and vibrant. The bread was lightly toasted, being a little crinkly in texture without being harsh against my gums. If I could change something, I would include a couple extra slices of the cucumber to balance out the ratio of vegetables to meat, and add a bit more of the aioli. Other than that, this is a great sandwich influenced by flavors of the South Pacific. My companion got the STEAK sandwich ($15) and enjoyed it. The steak slices were thinly cut and tender as well. They do their beef right! On another occasion, I tried the PROSCIUTTO ($14), one of their cold sandwiches. The delicate layers of prosciutto were placed on top of sliced tomatoes, pickled onion and arugula, all between pressed focaccia bread. Truffle mustard was spread on both pieces of bread, which was WAY too much in my opinion. With this mustard having a stronger flavor, it overpowered the sandwich and made it too tangy, especially in combination with the pickled onions. The menu stated this should include pistachios, but I didn't notice any, and they were all out of provolone, so there was also an absence of cheese. For the prices, these sandwiches are pretty generous in size, so I consider them a good deal, especially for the Bellevue area. The ingredients are fresh and make for a fantastic lunch option. While I wasn't a huge fan of the Prosciutto sandwich, I'd definitely go back again for another Rendang!

The one that I like the most was the pork cutlets, even if it was cold it was good. The savory options were not too sweet which I liked. Not a huge fan on the salmon tho. The only issue I had was definitely the portion, it was small. It seems big in the photo and display but the one you get it small. When u open the sandwich the filling and bread ratio is kinda small, which was disappointing because it's kinda pricey. A nice place to try a lot of flavors, definitely recommend.

The bagels were delicious and toasted perfectly. It came with whipped butter and raspberry jam on the side. The pastrami omelet was very large and came with a generous serving of potatoes. ALso tried the pastrami and corned beef breakfast bagel, which was packed with almost like an omelet tucked inside a bagel. Also got a side of hand made chicken sausage which was okay. Tasted healthy. The one disappointment was the vanilla latte. It tasted more like it came from an automated coffee machine than a traditional espresso machine and lacked the flavor and quality I was expecting. Most things are self-serve here, including finding your own seating, grabbing silverware, getting water, and pouring drip coffee. As we were leaving, a live musician was getting set up to play, Which added a really welcoming atmosphere.
