TLDR: Old-school burger & dog stand with outdoor seating only. Food is delicious, prices are great, and it's a perfect stop on a sunny day. Expect a wait at peak hours, but worth it. Beef 'N Buns 'N Paradise is one of those hidden gems that feels like summer. This fast casual burger and hot dog stand is walk-up only, with outdoor seating and a handful of parking spots (which fill up quickly during peak times). You order at the window from a huge menu and wait for your name to be called over the loudspeaker. We tried a few of their hot dogs, the Chicago Dog and the Chili Nacho Cheese Dog and both were awesome. The dogs were snappy, flavorful, and loaded with toppings. We also grabbed the double patty melt, which was superlative. The patties were juicy, the rye bread was perfectly griddled, and the whole thing just hit. The onion rings deserve their own shoutout too, crispy, hand-breaded, and the perfect side item. And of course, we had to finish with dessert. We got vanilla soft serve cones with black cherry flavor burst on one and coffee on the other. Super tasty and the perfect ending. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. It's exactly the kind of place you want to hit up on a sunny weekend or for a casual dinner after work.

This place just feels like a family owned local hot spot in Frederick. Unpopular opinion but I actually enjoy the fries more than the burger itself. Not to say the burger is bad it's actually pretty good, but the fries are out of this world in my opinion. They have amazing shakes too. If you eat here make sure the weather is nice as all of the seating is outside. If you want a local town burger you can't go wrong here. Wish it was easier to order online since they're old school and you call to place a to go order. Otherwise great spot.

You could easily miss this place and think that it's an ice cream store, but it's NOT just an ice cream store. They served me one of the best burgers that I've ever had. My husband and I were driving by Frederick, MD and their location and reviews were a big draw. I ordered the Cajun blue and my husband got the rowdy burger platter. Both were delicious. The flavor combinations were very well done. When your order's ready they announce it over their intercom system and bring it to the back of the building where you pick it up. One reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there's not a lot of seating outside and no indoor seating from what I could see.

A favorite of mine! Their serving sizes are massive! The ice cream and shakes are great! Friendly customer service, and on a nice day it feels good to sit outside :). It's an unassuming spot and it does give me a nostalgic feeling of some island themed fun parks I used to go to as a kid :). I highly recommend the black raspberry lemonade! They also take call ahead orders! If you get a chance, check out this awesome spot.

So I decided to bring my toddler her for a burger, for a burger joint I was disappointed that they dont offer kids burgers. So I ended up buying her an adult burger which was just cheese and a burger on a bun. We also got french fries. I got Cajun blue burger and an ice cream cone and all of that came to $32. In my mind, it was a little expensive for a meal between me and my toddler. Fries were pretty great but The onion must've been old because out of all of the condiments on the Cajun blue. I only tasted the onion not only while I was eating it but also for long after. Glad we tried it, probably won't be back.

Got some takeout from here the other night and it did not disappoint. Pretty good greasy diner like spot. From ordering at the restaurant to pickup, it took about 15 minutes. We got the pulled pork bbq, cape maye burger, shrimp salad sandwich, chili dog, sweet potato fries, onion rings, chocolate malt, and a coffee and cream soft serve. Lets start with the sides. The onion rings were nice and crispy with a little grease, but it wasn't overwhelming. Definitely some of the better ones that I have had. I would suggest them over the sweet potato fries, which I would have preferred to be a little more crisp. They were a little too greasy for my liking. The chocolate malt was pretty good, but just a little to sweet for my liking. The coffee and cream soft serve had a flavor like I've never tasted before. It was very heavy on the cream with hints of coffee. The pulled pork bbq was very good and I would definitely order it again. I added onions to it and it was a great sandwich, not overly sweet and a good balance of flavor. The kaiser roll held up nicely to the amount of pork on the sandwich, which was almost a half inch. What was also great was that the meat didn't fall out of the sandwich when eating it. For being a bbq sandwich, it wasn't messy at all! The cape maye burger was enough for two people to eat with the burger patty, crab cake, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce. They aren't lying on the menu when they say for hungry people only. Everything just works together in the burger even though it seems like a lot going on. Once again, the kaiser roll holds up to all of the contents!

Coming from out of town, I never eat anything that I can get in Ohio. I wanted hot dogs, so I headed to Beef N Buns Paradise. I ordered a Slaw Dog and asked them to put fries on top of the dog (in Ohio we call it a Polish Boy). It was so doggone good, thick hot dog. Both my friend and I said we will be back before we leave. Loved it. I highly recommend it

One of the few places you Can get soft serve in Frederick so it's a must for me in the summer also it has a very cool outdoor seating area to enjoy your food so I love bringing family from out out of town for a quick stop. I'd thought I'd give the food a try for a chance and was not disappointed everything came out quick and fresh. I ordered the Cape Maye and my girlfriend had the Shrimp Po Boy! Both fantastic and fairly priced. We got the combos... we were a tad disappointed with no free refills especially with how small our drinks were. If we would've known prior we would've ordered a bigger size.

    1/4 burger well done. Delicious.

OK, I did not order the burger and fries, but my boyfriend did, and I ate half the fries on his plate, they were that good! Great, friendly, with generous pours for wine, and just a really friendly, great place with perfect food for a winter day. I wish I could find a place like this in Washington, DC.

There's a lot of potential here, but when your wagyu burger costs more than Le Diplomate's iconic burger in DC, I'm expecting something amazing. Every ingredient was very seasoned on its own, but when combined, the burger was overwhelmingly salty. I could barely taste anything besides salt. The cocktails were also overly sweet, and I regrettably had to send them back a couple of times. That said, our waiter's service was excellent. But this place needs a lot of improvement. Way too salty, too greasy, and overpriced.

Made a reservation not like you really need one, but we made one and was seated down pretty quickly. The host was nice and friendly and the wait staff said hello to us within the five minutes of us seating. I appreciated how family-friendly this place was, they give these cute little animal boxes with different things inside and crayons to keep the kids entertained. The decoration is fun with a lot of outdoor vibes and stuffed real animals. They bring out a side of chip and a yogurt dill dip that's interesting, a fun idea. The food, mhm so we ordered a lot! Crab dip: 2.5/5 not too bad but not memorable, okay amount of crab, flavors were too heavy on the cream cheese/fillers but just okay, they need more bread with it but the chips helped. Prob wouldn't order again Crab cake: 3.8/5 pretty good size and good amount of crab and good flavor probably the best dish that we had ordered here! Would get again. Burger: 3/5 granted I did order this medium well for my kid, but the burger was charred a little too much around the burger, giving it a sort of dry crunch on the edges and charcoal burn vibes. Not my favorite texture that I would want on a burger, but perhaps it would've been different if I ordered a medium? Bread itself was a little stale/crunchy which I did not prefer how it was cooked/prepared. Overall, it was just okay. Ribs: 2.5/5 the ribs were half off ribs so I decided to go for it because of the good deal. But it was just okay, being that Blackhog barbecue is right next-door (thier dry rub ribs are amazing), I would hope that they would step up their barbecue rib game. For a " full rack" there were only nine bones and seemed a little smaller than what I'm used to. It's very heavy on the sauce which I didn't think was the best pairing and wasn't the best flavor bbq sauce. Overall, I wouldn't order it again. Steak kabob: 3.2/5 this was actually pretty tender for the cut of meat, I'm surprised that I didn't have to work for it so I was happy about that! The only criticism that we have is that the meat itself did not have that much flavor or seasoning and there's only one skewer of meat and one skewer of veggies. Meaning the total amount of meat that was probably on that dish was no more than 4 -5 ounces of steak. And for that price point, I would want a little bit more meat. Mac and Cheese: 3.5/5 pretty good for a kids Mac! Good cheese and flavor was impressed! Overall, the service and the host in the experience of being there was pretty good, but the food was a little lacking not sure if I would go again, but it was on our right experience in terms of food

I had driven two hours and was hungry, but I was also committed to making good decisions. Or at least mostly good decisions... The hostess offered me a seat at the second-floor bar rather than the quoted 25-30 minute wait. Great! Solo diners love surprise upgrades. Unfortunately, when I got upstairs, the one "available" seat had apparently been claimed by a diaper bag and a giant straw sunhat belonging to the woman sitting next to it holding a too-little-to-walk baby sitting at the bar. Uhhh...this isn't going to work. Back downstairs I went. I gave them my name and number, found a shady spot outside, and settled in for what I assumed would be a long wait. Five minutes later, my table was ready. Thank you, Universe! My server greeted me with water immediately, explained the QR code menu situation, and told me not to order through the app because she'd be right back. No worries, friend. I'd already done my homework. I knew exactly what I wanted. One Martha Stewart's Prison Pizza ($22), please. (Sausage, broccoli, ricotta, Calabrian chili peppers, lemon oil, and sea salt.) I asked for the chili peppers on the side because I know myself. I like adventure. I don't enjoy possibly setting my mouth on fire. And a Diet Pepsi ($3.50), because balance. While I waited, I people-watched, which is one of my favorite hobbies. White Rabbit was PACKED. The patio was full. The downstairs bar was full. Upstairs was full. Couples, groups of girlfriends, older folks, younger folks, families, solo diners...everyone seemed happy to be there. The place itself is pretty small, which explains the wait. Six tables downstairs, maybe eight bar seats, more seating upstairs, and a constant dance of servers carrying food through the same front door customers use. Add the "please wait to be seated" crowd gathering in the narrow hallway and I'd describe things as organized chaos. But once I was seated, I was perfectly comfortable and out of the traffic pattern. One cool touch I noticed: outlets and USB ports built right into the front of the bar. Maybe that's common and I've somehow missed it all these years, but I thought it was pretty neat. Then my pizza arrived. Oh good lawd. OH. GOOD. LAWD. This pizza was SO GOOD! I knew from the first bite that I was in trouble. There was no sauce, which surprised me at first, but after approximately three seconds I no longer cared. The sausage was plentiful. The broccoli added texture. The ricotta was creamy and rich. And that lemon oil?! That lemon oil set it off! Everything just worked together perfectly. The Calabrian peppers arrived on the side exactly as requested. I bravely sampled a very small amount on my fork before desecrating my pizza and quickly determined that folks with stronger heat tolerance than me will absolutely love them. They were just a little too spicy for my delicate tastebuds. Thankfully, the pizza was incredible without them. And those slices? MONSTERS. I ate one and seriously contemplated a second before reminding myself that I had dessert plans elsewhere. A box was requested. Self-control was exercised. Barely. As a solo diner, I also want to give White Rabbit extra points. Multiple staff members checked on me throughout the meal. I never felt forgotten, rushed, or weird sitting by myself. Everyone was warm, kind, and made me feel completely comfortable. I really appreciated that. My total bill came to $32.44 including tip which felt really reasonable given the amount of pizza I consumed and brought home. Worth every penny. I'm already scheming my next two-hour drive back. Maybe a smashburger. Maybe those Brussels sprouts everyone keeps raving about. Maybe another pizza. Maybe all of it! I highly recommend checking out White Rabbit. Make it a destination, not just a stop while you're in the area. Don't let the size of the place or the wait scare you off. It's totally worth it. PRO TIP: If you park in the Church Street Parking Garage, look for the staircase labeled "STAIR 3." White Rabbit is literally right outside the door at the bottom. No hide-and-seek required!

Yes, there was an elevator, but like I said earlier, the number of people made you feel like you were in the way while waiting for it to descend. I thought it was odd that people were seated so far away from the buffet and other guests in the restaurant, especially for the elderly guests.
