I'm real disappointed with my visit this evening. I just left there. There were three waitresses…read moreworking. I found that out when we were about to leave. Only one acknowledged me even though I stood at the counter finding out whether we had to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. One of the reasons I stood at the counter is because there weren't many people in there and i'm almost positive that we would have never been acknowledged because I was standing there and wasn't even acknowledged right away. There was one lady that finally came to take my order. After that there was the bartender, who also happened to be our waitress as well. Here I am thinking that she was the only one there, since it was pretty slow. But that wasn't the truth. My husband had to get up to pay the bill since no one came back to the table for him to pay. He found out that there were two other waitresses on the other side of the establishment that should have been working. But they weren't. They weren't helping us like they should have been. The food portions were very small and without seasoning. No one ever came to check on us during our dining experience until we had finished our meal. Our table never got cleared off until the end, because I am assuming that this waitress that did finally wait on us, who was also the bartender, was just too busy working at the bar to come back. Someone did try to help us at the end but it was too little, too late. We still left a tip though. The macaroni and cheese had very little flavor and my husband's was cold. My mashed potatoes and gravy was also cold. They need to step their game up. I'm also disappointed in those small buffalo chicken egg rolls as well. They were extremely small for the price. I've had much larger egg rolls than that for the price that we paid. For almost ten dollars, they should have been much larger. Reply to the so called owner.... What you just stated isn't true. And it's more of a reason why I will never come back! There's no reason for me to look for anything to complain about. Don't tell me that I give what I get. From the time I walked in, I stood there for a long time before anyone acknowledged me. As a business owner, you are supposed to make your clients happy. There's no reason for you to try to blame me for being unpleasant toward anyone. I'm the one paying my money to patronize your establishment. If everything was okay, then this would not have been a review that I would have left. You all need to get it together. I never had an attitude, but I was disappointed because I had to stand there and no one did acknowledge me. There was no reason for me to make this up or to lie. When I asked for my total, she said it was $52 and change, for 2 pizzas! On the Toast app, it's $50.96 including tax and a $2.30 service fee. It states they charge $1.45 (3%) for credit card use. So the max would be $50.96 with cash... Even if I paid cash and tried to prevent service fee from ordering on the app, it's still MORE EXPENSIVE to call and order!! She couldn't tell me what all the extra fees were for, but said I was being charged for "packing". Sounds like they are including the credit card fee automatically and still charging a service fee. What a scam. I cancelled my phone order and ordered from Long Island Brothers instead. I got 10% off for ordering online and ordered the exact same pizzas for $47.16. And no, they didnt charge for "packaging".

It was at the end of a small shopping strip with a layout like any sandwich shop. The seating was clean and in good condition but nothing special there. There were a few really nice decorations so it seemed like they tried spruce it up. Two of these were the TV screens with a loop of pictures of the owner, the "Florida Boy" and his exploits. Talk about stroking your own ego. It would have actually been a positive accent if it had been clips about what's great about being a Florida Boy or what's great about Florida itself instead of a self love fest. There were TWO people working when we were there. One person waited all the tables and at times disappeared into the back of the kitchen presumably to wash dishes. The other person was on the cook line. That's a lot to put on the shoulders of two maybe teenagers. I felt stressed out FOR them! It was busy too and they managed it well. Great job ladies! The wait times for the waitress were longer than we liked but I blame understaffing for that, not the waitress. Finally the food. It was good! We enjoyed our meals with no issues whatever. The food was the reason for the four star review. Would I recommend trying Florida Boy and would I return? No and here's why: I view such gross understaffing as abuse of the employees, especially younger ones. The ego stroking we saw on the TVs made me believe that the whole establishment existed to feed the self esteem of the owner. I was and am skeptical about criticism being taken constructively.
