We used Beefalo Bob's for a company picnic, which we have had now for several years. They were fantastic! We have a small group and they are one of the few BBQ companies that will cater to less than 100. They arrived on time, set up and were ready to go as scheduled. They were the best group that we have used yet. Everyone commented on the quality of the food. We had pit beef, ham, turkey, hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers. They serve you right from the pit and you can select how you want your meat cooked. The sides were also excellent. Corn steamed right at the picnic. Great potato salad and beans, too. We placed an order for pickup and upon arrival it took at least 10-15 minutes before an employee bothered to even address my husband's presence. He informed them of the order placed, the young lady looked on the computer, eventually went to the back and then proceeded to tell him that it was going to be a little longer---no estimated time, no apologies for being late, nothing. After waiting for an additional 20 minutes, he again inquired, as at this point the order was already 35/40 minutes late. She went to check again and said they were boxing it up. Never was there any acknowledgement or anything. And it took another 10 minutes to box it up. It was a horrible experience and the burnt cut ends were nothing but fat. Major disappointment all around. We have been there before but after this experience, I really don't see a reason to go back. Maybe if they would have at the minimal stated that they were sorry, or gave my husband a soda while he waited or something, then I would contemplate going back. Instead they ignored him and treated our business as if it wasn't necessary or important. Gotta say , My wife and I were so excited to try this place out . My gosh were we disappointed . After all the yelp reviews this place is terrible . We ordered pulled pork sandwich and full baby back rack . Specially mentioned , BBQ on the side . Young cook acknowledged . Drove home to nasty soggy frys and food sopping with BBQ sauce . We wanted to taste the pork it took you hours and hours to cook yet they decided to drench it in sauce . I'm not interested in your sauce . Could care less . Baby backs were the thinnest , meatless racks I've ever had. I can buy meatier racks from SAMs club and cook them myself . Food was cold . They don't remove the paper silver skin from the backside of the ribs . So disappointed ! I'm not even an 8 minute drive away ! Mac and cheese tasted like it was from a box . Overall tasteless . I don't even know where to start the food was so bad. We all got pulled pork, sandwiches, baked beans, and Mac n cheese. The smell was great walking in...there were a handful of people there waiting. There was some type of cooker behind the counter a smoker of some sort and they were loading it up with raw meat, no seasoning what so ever. I got home opened everything and I took one bite out of my sandwich and it was so disgusting...no flavor what so ever not even a pinch of salt or pepper! I doused my sandwich with both but to no avail it was impossible to put flavor on it. The beans were straight out of the can no seasonings just warmed up. The Mac n cheese was from the box...I've waisted $45 on something my family didn't eat. I'll never go back...ever! read more

I am a fan of Beefalo Bobs, however, with some warnings... Their pit-beef and pit turkey are awesome. God BBQ sauce to complement the pit beef, if you like that. Fries, which are almost always cooked to perfection are awesome (sometimes off days where someone under cooks them, however that is rare.) PIt beef and gravy over fries is also really good. Their hot wings are also really good. HOWEVER, steer clear of the ribs, the 2 times I tried them they tasted like they were cooked several weeks ago and frozen and reheated. They are really, really bad and I threw the last batch in the garbage after a few bites (was afraid to even feed them to the dog). Half chickens are usually pretty dried out by the time you get them too... They also need to train staff to do a walk through every now and then and clean up the customer area. It is usually pretty gross with unwiped down tables and the soda machine looks like it never gets wiped down during the day. read more

My husband and I stopped in to get a quick bite to eat. Service was fast but the pit ham sandwich is freezing cold sent it back to get heated up and she said it was hot but it was still cold. Ham tasted like lunch meat ham. Ordered the half rack of rib dinner (sauce on the side) with mac and cheese and greens. The ribs came out with sauce on top and on the side but I didn't send it back because we were hungry. The ribs tasted just like turpentine and the mac and cheese tasted like it came out of the box and the greens tasted like sugar!!! Just awful. We wasted $26.00 on pure junk. I don't recommend this place to feed my dogs. Go to McDonald's at least you know what you are going to get. read more

Amazing place. They just recently catererd my wedding and could not be more accommodating. They worked with me to make sure I had the menu I wanted and the needs of our guest were meet. Had our class reunion in 2014, went back for our next one in 2019 and then got a surprise party for the wife, on Nov 17th, everyone was very helpful, if we needed something they helped us with it, the food was great, they even wrapped up what was left and gave it to us. We used Beefalo Bob's for my daughter's wedding and they were fantastic! From the first tasting to the wedding day they were wonderful to work with and so accommodating. Michelle in catering worked with us to get the perfect menu for our outdoor wedding. When the day came the wait staff and chef on site couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. And the food was delicious!! Everyone raved about it!! We had guests from England and they were so pleased to have such delicious BBQ and pulled pork. Great food at a reasonable price. There is a small wait if people are in line, but well worth it. The platters are the way to go. This is definitely a carry-out joint as there are hardly any tables for sit down dining. The aroma of the place as you walk in makes your mouth water. The staff is friendly and quick to joke and banter back-and-forth with you. The only complaint I may have is that the side portions could be a little bigger. Had the pit beef - it was delicsious, The rest of the food was mediocre.This is in a blue collar area, and the clientele is very casual, with very nice people. Wait staff was very nice. . I love barbeque, so thought I would try it. They had very limited winemon the menu, and the Chard I chose was sooo bad I had to resort to Miller light...nothing wrong with a Miller light or two, but I usually like a decent wine at dinner. read more

I've ordered from this place 4 times, the 1st 2 times the sandwiches were good, even better than average, but the last 2 times I've ordered the a 50/50 sandwich beef and ham, the beef was extremely dry, very hard to chew, like shoe leather, way over cooked. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again, I always give a restaurant a second chance, because eveyone has an off night, but fail me twice in a row on a $13 sammie, probably giving up. I also ordered a half a chicken on my last order and it was mushy...not even sure what the deal was, I ate a leg and half of the breast and threw the rest out. On a good note, their coleslaw is good, it taste homemade but, their potato salad taste to me like its boxed, which I never understood how a restaurant cannot just make potato salad it's the easiest stuff in the world to make and taste so much better. I'm not telling you you shouldn't order from here, I'm just giving you my honest opinion...if you try their pit sandwiches, I hope you get a sandwich like my first 2. I love good baby back ribs and this place is great! I keeping going there to try other food on their menu but end up ordering the ribs. Usually there is a line around dinner time but it doesn't take long to get your ribs. This is there carry out location and they do have a sit in location which I have not tried. Good ribs! I love Beefalo Bobs, and would give it a 5 star rating, if they allowed you to put the condiments on yourself, instead of having to ask for them , and then never get enough of what you want, also one other reason would be for the fries, as they are good, but a bit greasy and sometimes not freshly made. The main reasons to go there though is for the pit sandwiches, and for that I do give them 5 stars! The beef is always cooked to order, and given generous amounts, and the turkey is so deliciously flavored, it makes for a very hard decision every time, on which one to chose. The staff there is always very friendly and accommodating. I would love to try their ham, pork, and wings sometime, as I am sure they will be good too, but I love the pit beef and turkey too much, to try anything new..lol :) Real Smoked Grilled food that is most definitely worth the trip, and they are reasonably priced as well. We had Beefalo Bob's cater my retirement party last month. Due to weather conditions the venue had to be changed at the last minute. They were on site at the promised time, had everything set up and ready when our guest arrived. The food was fabulous and as important were the servers. It made the afternoon so enjoyable to have service, where every request was met and happily. Beefalo Bob's took much of the worry out of the event and planning. We have used Beefalo Bob for several summer events at our business in Rockville, MD. They arrive on time and are ready to serve per our start requests. This is important to us as we have rolling lunch times to provide relief for each other. The food is awesome! I'm not a fan of shredded meat sandwiches, but their shredded BBQ had me smacking my lips. They provide everything (beverages to plates, condiments, etc.) so it is a dream to not have to run around purchasing and organizing every little item. I have always found their serving/cooking staff to be very friendly. The event planners that answer the phone are also very helpful. Those two characteristics are rarely found these days :). My wife and I decided to throw a last minute surprise going away party. It took only 10 minutes to place the order with the catrering office and my job was done. When I came to pick it up, the friendly staff even loaded my car for me! The food was delicious, and maintained well on our buffet for the duration of the party. We are regular customers at Beefalo Bob's. We have never been disappointed by anything on their menu. When we were looking at wedding venues, the catering staff was extremely helpful and their prices were more than reasonable. In the end, we decided to do a destination wedding instead of a traditional wedding. When we returned, we still wanted to celebrate with family and friends so we had a party at our house. We hired Beefalo Bob's to cater the event for 75 people. It was easy to plan and reasonably priced. The food arrived hot and on time. We got so many compliments on the food!
