I hired them to clean my air ducts and dryer duct, and they did an excellent job. Scheduling a job is very convenient. They have an online booking system where you tell them which services you want and how many vents you have, and you can pick a date and time for the service. Then they call you and confirm, and send you an estimated cost and estimated time to do the job. Their rate is a minimum $950 that covers 15 registers (supply and return), plus $20 per extra register. If you get the dryer vent cleaned at the same time it's a discounted rate of $130. They do a variety of additional cleanings and services as well, but I did not get any of those. Luis came over at the agreed time (after texting me that he was on his way), looked everything over, and had me sign the agreement. He gave me an estimate of 5 hours for my large house (28 registers plus the dryer vent), which was very close to the actual time. He did not attempt to upsell me on anything. The best feature of the service is the before and after vent photos. Luis pulled an amazing variety of junk out of my vents (mostly crayons and pencils, with a few unidentifiable pieces, and a moderate amount of dust and lint). This is a more elaborate process than I imagined. They attach a large device like a vacuum cleaner to the side of your furnace to suck air back from all the ducts. This is fairly noisy and runs for the whole period they are cleaning. Then they open up each register, clean the cover, and blow out the insides of the duct with compressed air. Some of the debris falls on the floor, but Luis did a good job of cleaning up at the end. read more

The techs that came did an adequate job but left greasy finger prints on newly painted walls and knocked over several things in the utility room which they didn't bother to pick up; nor did they swept up after the service and left debris all over the utility room floor which is also the laundry area. When I made the appt I told the office I did not need the furnace cleaned as I had an appt the next week for that with my regular guy. They said they would remove the $179 charge. When I was presented with the bill the charge was still there. I spoke with the office and they said there was ' no way to remove the charge from the bundle of services '. Very disappointed. This company came to blow our dryer vents out. Was told that they couldn't do it because the vent isn't connected somewhere in the wall. So, they didn't provide a service just a diagnostic AND still charged us $225 instead of a trip fee. That is a rip off and awful business practices. read more

Two reasons for low rating for this company: 1. They charged $350 for a job that simply required walking up the stairs and going into the attic, stepping 3 feet and cleaning just a few feet of air duct because the dryer was so close. When I called and talked to the manager instead of addressing my concerns she simply kept repeating that I authorized the work. So, beware before you have the work done that they will try to swindle you into the highest pricing... even though it took 15 minutes from start to finish and there was no risk involved because the work was done from the inside. They will try to make you think that the work has to be done from the outside which is quite risky and does in my mind justify the higher pricing. But that was not the case here. In fact, they attempted to climb the roof and even though I kept telling them they were in the wrong place they ignored me and kept trying to climb what was very steep and dangerous without any safety ropes. This is a very sketchy business. How could I accurately authorize the work to be done until I actually saw what they did. They will make it sound like it's a big deal and therefore justifies the highest price level. I can't imagine what their lowest price covers because this again was only 15 minutes (minus the wasted time they spent climbing the roof when I told them they were in the wrong place and that all they needed to do was climb the stairs and would have easy immediate access to the air duct), walking upstairs and a few feet into the attic and then a couple more feet to clean out a few feet of air duct. My second complaint: when they were up in the attic they dropped their equipment from the attic down to the floor inside instead of taking the time to come down the ladder and place their heavy hose safely on the floor. So the heavy metal hose hit my wall and chipped the paint a bit. Sure I can paint that over easily but there was no acknowledgement and they like to cut corners. I prefer to hire people who are respectful of my home. I would not use this company! Find someone else who actually cares about honesty and is careful with your home. read more

In a world of service providers who have forgotten the meaning of service, this company was a shining star. I called Bee's yesterday, the gentlemen doing the work were at my door at 8 am, and I am 1.5-2 hours away from their offices. Not saying it could be like that for everyone, I think I lucked out a bit with that! From the lady I spoke with in the office - Kathleen - to the young men who did the work - Favian and Jaime - I'm very impressed and pleased. I received a quote on the phone, and the charges were exactly that amount. No run-around. No nonsense or exceptions. A real human that answered the phone : ) ! The work itself was excellent. Favian and Jaime came prepared with shoe covers, were respectful of my home, busted their buns for half a day, vacuumed around the vents when their work was complete, ensured all areas around where they were working were clean, took before and after pictures (my vents were disgusting), and were polite and pleasant. Just to add icing to the cake, they gave my dogs lots of loving (big dogs, not everyone will do that). Our technician, Luis, was phenomenal. He was clearly very knowledgeable about the whole ordeal, on top of being super efficient and professional. We knew from our home inspection that this was going to be a BIG job, and Luis was happy to spend the extra couple hours beyond the initial estimate in order to give those filthy ducts the attention they needed (with no extra charge). Plus, the dryer duct - which we got a 50% discount on since we were already doing the duct cleaning - was a great addition; we were AMAZED how much lint came out of such a short pipe! Kathleen, who scheduled us in and explained the process, was also wonderful. She was very committed to our satisfaction and happy to go above and beyond for our situation. We were glad to hear that the whole team is fully vaccinated, and she kindly offered to let Luis know if we preferred to have him mask up regardless! Can't recommend Bee's enough, especially for anyone who's recently moved into a new home and doesn't want to think about how much dust & grime has been building up behind those grates over the years! Best of all, there is noticeably more airflow out of the vents in our farthest room now - a HUGE benefit because that room was so hard to keep at the right temperature, even with almost every other register closed. The ducts to reach it are very far away from the furnace, and all the built-up dust was clearly making it tough for air to get there. We will have winter warmth at last!! read more

We had the ducts cleaned in our home post basement renovation and spent about $1,200.00. The workers did a satisfactory job. My problem is with the service provided for the money spent and the subsequent rude attitude of the owner when questioned. Pre work, we asked specifically if ALL vents in home were to be cleaned, except those that specifically related to an additional furnace that is seldom used. We were told YES, by the workers. After asking the question, I felt confident it included the dryer vent. I am now having trouble with the dryer and its venting. I called the company and was told indeed it had not been cleaned. When I asked how much to clean it, they said $200, but for repeat customers $150.00. I asked how much it would have been had we had it done at the time of initial service. I was told $100. I said, "that's fair." I don't want free services, just what it would have cost at the time as I thought it was being cleaned. The owner was not available and called me 3 hours later to discuss. She refused to do the work for 100.00 insisting I signed a bid. (The bid in fact was done over the phone and what I thought I was signing was an authorization to come into the home to do the work upon arrival by the workers...a simple work authorization--different from a formal bid. She spent the first 5 minutes trying to discredit me. She told me (quote) "you are not as clear as you think you are. Most of my customers know the difference between a dryer vent and a furnace vent." I said, "I am not an expert in the venting business you are and I did my diligence. I asked the workers. And why did you not tell me at the time of bid that the dryer vent was not included?" Her answer, "Some customers are sensitive about paying for additional services, so I didn't mention it." " So, you are accustomed to letting people believe a service is included because you are afraid to lose the business if you say its not? That hardly seems ethical." And...the conversation went on until she finally realized she had no reasonable answer and resorted to insulting my character outright. At that point I said "good day." She was rude, inconsiderate, aggressive and more. If you do use this company, get it in writing what exactly will and will not be included, especially what ISN'T included in the price and hope you never ever have to talk to the owner. And BTW? I contacted another reputable duct cleaner and he was happy to come out and clean the vent for $100.00 and when he asked how much I had paid BEE's? He said "wow! You must have a mansion!" I said, No, We have a small 3 bedroom ranch. read more

We had just finished out basement and we are expecting a baby next month so we wanted all of the construction dust and debris out and they did just that! Once you hire Bee's you will realize that most other companies that "offer" air duct cleaning are not giving you a "true" air duct cleaning. I did not fully realize this until I hired Bee's. They are AMAZING. Not only do they do a complete cleaning of your ducts and dryer vent but they also clean your furnace. They also will tell you about any problems. I hired them to do 3 houses and they identified 3 issues that we were able to fix immediately. Note- they did not identify the problems and try to up sell us, they simply mentioned what the issue was and were were able to call the right people to fix the issues. Kathleen handled the bookings and follow-up (she's great) and across the 3 houses w had 2 different crews and BOTH crews were wonderful- profesional, friendly, polite and reapectful. Bee's is defintely not the cheapest option but I now realize that the cheap option didn't get me very far. I would hire Bee's again and again. If you want air duct cleaning, don't waste your time and money on cheaper options. These guys are fantastic! Bee's is the best company in the Boulder area. Their service people were so competent and knowledgeable, and I was confident that they were getting to the bottom of my problems. They went beyond what I thought they would do as they cleaned out vents that were full of dirt in my older home. Their attitudes were good and helpful.
