Bee's Plumbing is pretty great. They're quick to respond online and over the phone. Prior to the plumber coming out they send you an email with the plumber's picture and profile so you know who is coming to work on your home. PJ, our plumber was nothing short of awesome. He is professional and really helped me out with brainstorming and coming up with the best solution for our plumbing problem that dealt with old cast iron piping. I highly recommend PJ. Overall the service is good, as I state before. === Not sure why rating is so high. Everything is professional, except the most important thing, the price. It was my rental property, flush tankless water heater $600, after that diag $800, additional $ to fix . In the worst case, replace with a better unit $8000. Ended up $108 on site estimate fee and I decided to troubleshoot myself. Flushed the heater myself with $150 pump and descale solution and replaced a mixing valve cost me $100, which was the culprit. 3 hours work. Now I have a $900 brand new unit waiting to be returned, as I ordered just in case I have to replace the whole unit myself, that's few hours work + $900 unit, which Bee quoted $8000. read more

This was our 2nd time to use Bee's Plumbing. This time it was for a leaking pipe from the toilet into our basement. From the initial call for an appointment for an estimate to having the work completed, they were a wonderful to work with. They had to replace and reroute some of the pipes. I had a great experience recently with Bee's Plumbing. I contacted them to replace my old cast iron kitchen sink, and I feel like the pricing was reasonable for the job. Bryce came out and expertly installed a new stainless-steel sink, faucet, and garbage disposal and cleaned everything up afterwards. The sink looks beautiful, and the faucet and disposal work flawlessly! Bryce was punctual, knowledgeable, and professional... all of which are such key qualities, especially when dealing with something as critical as plumbing. I give Bee's Plumbing 5 stars! Paul and his associate were very respectful of my home. I had several plumbing issues that needed to be taken care of and being a single parent on a budget I had to prioritize. Paul provided his knowledge and expertise which helped me determine what to get fixed now and what could wait. He gave me a couple of estmated options which didn't break the bank. In addition, without solicitation Paul also showed me common plumbing issues that often arise and showed me how I could fix it on my own. Overall I appreciated the honesty, transparency and overall knowledge sharing. Oh and not to mention the cost of the service. I had a quote previous to this and I was quoted over $1500 more than what I paid and it wasn't all the repairs Paul completed. I'd like to also include that their customer service people that do the scheduling keeps you updated. I was sent a text that the initial plumber was on his way, bit didn't make it. A follow-up call was made to inform me that another plumber was on his way. I recommend Bee's Plumbing over the others! read more

They cleared out a horrible smelling drain in the basement and repaired a leaky seal on an ancient pipe that was in an awkward, hard-to-access corner. I found Darius and Trent to be extremely prompt, courteous, personable, skilled and professional. They were very clear about the cost of their services before they started working. Their Yelp rating is deceptive. If you leave a bad review, they'll reach out to try to convince you to change it, in exchange for a refund or free services. The truth is that they wildly overcharge compared to other local plumbers who (in my experience so far) have been much more compentent. For example, Bee's quoted $5k for work that two other companies quoted at $3.5k, and the markup for basic services goes even higher. I'm happy to overpay for responsiveness and expertise, but that hasn't been my experience with Bee's. Their technicians have been friendly, but unfortunately don't seem to really know what they're doing, and it has ended up creating new problems on top of what we called them about. The cheaper companies have been just as friendly, but far more helpful, and got the work done with a lot less fuss. I respect trying to "make it right" for a customer, but the way they go about it feels shady, and I feel strongly that their overall rating is undeserved. read more

Quick response and great communication. Adam was our technician. He worked very hard to resolve the issue with our kitchen touch faucet. When it was clear a new part was needed, he called several places to try to find it and then tried the manufacturer, but offices were closed. He did what he could to leave us in a good place and gave us all the information we needed to get the part ourselves. He was respectful of our home and explained his work as he went through the process of trying to make the repair. We felt the assessment of cost of the repair was fair. They called me within an hour of my review to remedy the situation, and after talking with a really kind person named Jonah and explaining the situation, I was given a full refund, without even asking for it. Clearly I was wrong to think that they care more about upcharging than their customers, so I'm updating my review to 5 stars. Thank you Jonah for your help. Old review: Charged me $215 just to tell me it wasn't a plumbing issue and they couldn't help. The charge included a fee for "diagnosing the problem" (which took only 5 mins) plus an additional fee for showing up. To be fair, they do say in their description that they charge a fee for coming, but as a first-time homeowner, I mistakenly thought all companies were like this. I believe they should have just charged me the fee for coming or just charged me for diagnosis, because they literally spent 5 mins just to tell me it wasn't plumbing, I needed an electrician, and they couldn't help. There are others out there who don't charge anything if they can't fix the issue, not even a fee for coming. After the Bee's guy left, I ended up going with Dean Home Repair (whose policy is only charge if they fix) and he actually fixed the issue with fair pricing. TL;DR: This is the type of company that cares more about upcharging their customers for every possible service than giving them a fair price. Beware their additional fees, and consider looking for a company that only charges if they fix your issue. read more

We have used Bees Plumbing ~3 times in the last year and, while we have been happy with the services that they provided, we will no longer be using them based upon their recommendation of a water mitigation company after an emergency call on Wednesday. The "trusted partners" that you recommend to your clients are a reflection of your business and when you recommend a company that does not inspire ANY confidence or trust, that reflects on your business and your people too. We had a toilet overflow with ~ a gallon of clear water that did not appear to contain any feces or urine on Wednesday morning at ~5:30 am. The water flowed from our second floor bathroom to our first floor dining room ceiling where just over 2 quarts quickly drained from a recessed light (we caught it in a marked bin once we realized what was happening). the only visual indicators of an issue in our dining room once the water stopped flowing - before they arrived - was a small wet ring around 2 recessed lights and a small 3x4 inch wet spot in one portion of our ceiling's drywall. We called them and they came out promptly at around 9 am. They quickly confirmed that there were no structural issues with our toilet or pipes and indicated that they could pull our toilet out but that they did not think it was necessary. We paid $99 for the ~10 minute emergency call as quoted and were fine with that price. I asked if we needed to be concerned about the water that had escaped from our toilet and was told that it was such a small amount that they didn't think that it was a concern BUT that they worked with a "trusted water restoration company" if we wanted someone to take a look. They provided my husband and I with the contact information for 1-800-WATER DAMAGE. I am pregnant with a toddler and my husband and I decided to proceed with, perhaps, an excess of caution and reached out to their "trusted" contractor. This was an ENORMOUS mistake. My husband and I built our home in 2017 and have worked with a number of contractors. To say that 1-800- WATER DAMAGE is amongst the worst that we have EVER encountered is an understatement. We will be providing a full review of services with 1-800-WATER DAMAGE shortly - as well as a review for one of the excellent (and better reviewed) companies that we reached out to for a second opinion; a company that we really wish that we had contacted first. Based upon our experience, I would STRONGLY recommend that Bee's Plumbing discontinue recommending other contractors to their clients if they want to maintain their business as plumbers. We dislike walking away from a good plumber but there are many well reviewed plumbers who don't serve up their clients to other slimy contractors. If you choose to use Bee's plumbing, I advise that you proceed with extreme caution regarding any other "trusted" contractors that they recommend for other services. read more
