My 2nd job with Bee's. Mike and his apprentice did great! Wanted to install 2 washing machines but only had 1 drain pipe and didn't want to risk trying to smash 2 drains into one 2" pipe in fear of backflow. Mike got the wall opened up and routed a new drain pipe to drain just above the p trap. Had to rework a section of the copper piping by using pex to maneuver it out of the way of the extra drain. Did a fantastic job. Done in about 3-4 hours. They are thoughtful, prompt, friendly, I get notifications about who's coming... couldn't ask for a better plumbing service. :) read more

Doc came out to replaced faucets that were corroded. The faucets were pretty stuck and he did a great job doing the replacement and I could tell it was hard work. This followed a prior experience with another one of their plumbers who charged me over $300 to tighten a bolt under the sink because I complained the faucets were loose and not easy to turn. The tightening of the bolt fixed the looseness, but the faucets still didn't work correctly. When I asked him about this, he said "you just said you were concerned about the loose faucets; those faucets are corroding and need replacement". I wish he had told me that from the start because tightening the bolts for $300 didn't fix the problem. Also the faucet was over 10 years old (he said this was very old for a faucet) and parts no longer available. I managed to find new cartridges and cross handles for the Grohe Seabury faucets and contacted Bee's plumbing about my concern with the first plumber not fixing the job. The manager was great, very responsive and arranged for another plumber to come out to do the job I really wanted done. So yesterday Doc came out and he gets 5 stars for his confidence, relaxed management of the problem and professionalism. I haven't yet heard back from the manager (as promised) about adjusting the price of the work as the first $300 charge was for work that was unnecessary given that the faucets really needed replacement, so 2 stars for that. read more

I had my tank-less external water heater go out on me. I called Bee's Plumbing, and they quickly answered some of my questions and sent a technician to my house the next day (I called 1 hour before closing). Marcos and his apprentice came out at 8 am; they diagnosed my machine and recommended a replacement due to the age of the device. I was previously informed it might need to be replaced within the year. The quote was in line with what other companies I called. Well, here they replaced my water heater, added a hose spigot to the front of my house, adjusted my pressure regulator, and fixed a wobbly toilet. The price was not cheap, but it was fair market value overall. You get what you pay for here and then some. They were very respectful of me and my home. They were efficient and cleaned up their work areas. They were great at answering my questions. They did all of this in a single day. You can't go wrong with calling Bee's Plumbing and Heating to come to your home. They will be my first call from now on. Again, I want to thank Marcos and Manuel for all their help today. P.S. As a follow up, Bee's Plumbing contacted me to apologize for my experience and make an attempt to resolve my complaint. I have already secured the services of another plumber who made the repair for a 1/4th the fee that Bee's Plumbining and heating quoted me ($990.00 for a kitchen faucet replacement from Bee's Plumbing) Bee's Plumbing said they would not charge me the $99.00 service fee for coming out. I received my credit card statement today and there was no fee from Bee's Plumbing. I said I would right follow stating that Bee's Plumbing did not charge me for coming out and providing a bid on their services. The funny thing is that when I spoke to their service rep after he quoted me $990.00, I suggested that he might want to check with his office and advise them that I thought the price was too hight. The rep stuck to his guns and said that was their fee. I don't like to blame individuals as I believe they are performing in the process their supervisors mandate. Maybe some more training is needed. Thanks for not charging me $99.00 to make a $990.00 bid to replace an ordinary kitchen faucet in a 21 year old home. read more

One of the toilets in our home was experiencing issues with on and off clogging, so I needed someone to take a look at it to ensure there wasn't a deeper issue happening. We have used Bee's in the past at our old home when we experienced a water leak due to freezing temperatures, and I was delighted to see that the technicians helping me out today, Diego and Ivan, were the ones that helped with our water leak issue. They were both very kind and knowledgeable, and friendly with my dog and son. My son was very excited when they gave him a coloring book and some hot wheels. They were also apologetic of some scheduling issues I had experienced earlier in the week trying to get a plumber out here, which I appreciated. Our water in our tub wouldn't turn off resulting in malfunction to the valve and we were without water all day. I called them and they gave me a window of time same day they were coming and came at a decent time. When they showed up they gave me a basic estimate but unfortunately there was more wrong. They explained the situation and gave me a new estimate before proceeding. Josh and his coworker worked at a well pace all day to get it fixed, next is for us to fix our wall. So some months back Tyler came out to our house after our water heater blew and left us in a pickle. These folks are awesome. The phone call to set up the appointment was a breeze and all the technicians we dealt with were great and very professional. We had a weird sewage ejection system in our backyard and the pump seemed to have died. The first tech who came out didn't have a pump on his truck so another tech came the next day and swapped it out and cleaned it all up quickly and we're back up and running! They were even patient enough to let me talk it all out with them while they figured it out. Had an issue with my toilets... oh what joy and had a warranty I was trying to use. The team was super responsive and smart up an appointment really quickly. They do communicate via text and keep you up to date. Naturally my warranty was crap and didn't cover anything but Tate and his bid completed the job. They left the bathrooms clean which was great for me and did excellent work. They also managed to complete rather quickly so it wasn't a long process since I mean we know we all need to use the potty. They were really professional and I felt it was a good price for the job. We recently started a kitchen renovation and had the simple plan to relocate the sink, but as we opened our basement walls realized that our house still had all original plumbing and drains (which were long past their expected life). Knowing this was just the beginning of our extensive renovation plans, we decided that it would be best to just tackle all plumbing issues at once so we could rest easy in the future knowing they had been addressed. What started as a simple drain relocation turned into a whole house re-pipe, drain replacement, new hot water tank, new water main water line to the house, and a sewer liner. We had contacted a number of companies for estimates but Sam Jr and Jorge went out of their way to throughly explain all parts of the job, answer our dozens of questions, and talk us through options and solutions. They offered a fair price and we were happy to pay even slightly more to have someone we trusted take on this complex job. A detailed project plan and timeline allowed us to coordinate family logistics for the weeks it would take, and work was completed on time. Sam Jr and Jorge would provide a daily morning update, immediately raise any issues or changes that had come up, and would never leave without ensuring we had all questions answered. Sam Jr and Jorge were also meticulous in their work, replacing all the plumbing work, but also re-plumbing in a way that our future remodels plans were taken into consideration. They quickly addressed any challenges and were a pleasure to work with. We are throughly impressed with their attention to detail, quality of work, innovative solutions to some of our old house nuances, and they went out of their way to ensure the work was done in a way that we had even more benefits than we asked for (even ensuring we had a temporary sink in the kitchen and creatively hooking up the dishwasher so we don't hand wash dishes while the kitchen remodel is completed). Had a clogged toilet, searched for a plumber and found Bee's. Asked for a price over the phone and they insisted the situation needed ro be inspected. Check the negative reviews before calling. Big mistake I learned after the fact. Called in the problem, had 2 guys sent out the same day and they reeked like an ashtray. Gross. Their hands and clothes were visibly dirty and clearly unwashed. We were their first call for the day and yet this is how they show up? My kids were complaining about the smell of smoke lingering long after they left. We go to the toilet that is clogged. They take a look at it for two minutes, the second guy checks the 'water pressure' outside and I'm told I'll have options shortly. The guys come back with a tablet of expensive options. The toilet was clogged, not broken nor was there any other issue in my home. They gave me options for a new toilet for $2,100. A Toto Drake 2 the guy talks up... it retails for $474 so $1,600 in labor and should take 90 minutes. This will solve the clog. Oh but we can't warranty it because your water pressure is 70. So you need a PRV because all the fixtures in your house will have issues including your wayer heater and not be under warranty without it. $2,000 more for this. Checked the cost of this and yep $400 -- another $1,600 mark up. So over $4,100 to fix a clogged toilet I am quoted and it will take them 2-3 hours. UNBELIEVABLE. This company is a ripoff. At the bottom of my quotes for a $650 option to Auger the toilet plus a $99 dispatch fee... no thanks. Checked the reviews after the fact and they regularly gouge people on everything. You call them for a small problem and they give you a big bill. The employees are anything but thorough or knowledgeable. Please do your research. Check the 1 star reviews ... I wish I had and not wasted my time. I went to Home Depot and bought an Auger for less than $60. Problem solved and saved me $4,000. Also, I did my research and 75 water pressure is not too high especially considering the time of day it was checked. Do not trust this company!!! This is the second time we have used Bee's plumbing in the last three months. We specifically requested Marcus since we had a great experience with him the last time [for a new water heater]. Again, we were extremely impressed with the service this time. The story is that we needed gas pipe revision for our new range. Our contractor got us a plumber, who did the assessment but we never heard back (no timeline or estimate, no follow up). We had already patiently waited many weeks since buying the new range. I am so happy that I remembered to call Bee's plumbing. Marcus literally came the day after my call, assessed the situation, and completed the job the same day in just two hours. I cannot believe how fast this all went! The other plumber made it sound super complicated. Again, Marcus' competency was evident. He is highly professional and trustworthy. Grossly overcharged on water heater installation - Followed by Unethical offer. I am writing this review to warn other customers about my experience with Bees plumbing and heating. While techs were polite and did the work professionally, the final charge was excessive and companies business practices were unethical. On October 7th I hired them for a water heater installation. I had already purchased new unit and drained old unit so the job involved disconnecting the old unit setting new unit in place and making water and electrical connections. The job took less than two hours to complete. I was shocked to be billed $1044.00 for this work. After it was completed Mike in office called me to ask about the job and I told him it was way to excessive charge. In response he offered to lower my bill by $250 (still excessive) if I would write a 5-star review for them. This is a clear attempt to manipulate their online reputation and hide their predatory pricing. Reputable companies earn their positive reviews through fair pricing and good service. This experience left me feeling chested and disrespected. I cannot recommend a company that operates in this manner. Awesome response and willingness to make things right. Original post: As other's have mentioned, Bee's is extremely overpriced. We had contacted them out to fix an error code with our tankless water heater. When the technician first arrived, they immediately said that the error code could mean any number of issues and that since our current water heater is 7 years old, they recommended that we replace it with a new unit, which they had quoted us around $7,000 for the install. We had asked how long does a tankless water heater usually last, and they mentioned usually if it isn't maintained often, it will last about 10-15 years. Not sure why my 7 year old unit is needing to be replaced now.. So, we decided to go with the "full-service maintenance" to clean the current unit. This "full-service" is basically just a flush and wiping/brushing the 3 flame rod electrodes. Just those alone was $750.00.. I assumed at this price they would've at least opened and cleaned the burner tray area to ensure nothing was clogged. You know.. something a full service might include. I highly do not recommend going with this service as other companies have quoted us $200 for what Bee's did today. read more

Called me and made it right so I would like to revise my review and just say I appreciate you taking the time to call and see what you could do to make our experience better. You definitely exceeded our expectations. Thank you Let's start off by saying that the plumbers you sent out, Christian and Ivan, really saved you because I already had my little 1 star review rating ready to go for y'all. But they really turned the experience we had around. Let me start off with the good before I go into the bad. Get you a little snack and enjoy the read. Christian and Ivan were the BEST they did an amazing job and they were fast too, finished in about two hours to replace our water heater. We had no complaints about them and really appreciate them coming out on a Saturday evening to replace our water heater. Christian even discounted us a little bit for the inconvenience we had in the morning (I explain more in detail down below). Our water heater started leaking on Friday evening, I called around everywhere but you guys were the only ones that were available to come out immediately. We have little kids and a tenant that lives on the back of our property so we needed this fixed expeditiously. We decided to have you come Saturday since the 99 dollar price for coming out on a Saturday was way better than the 350 dollars it would have cost to have someone come out that same day. You said you would send someone out Saturday between 8am-12pm. Saturday comes and my husband says no one has come by, it's almost 12pm, (I work nights so I sleep in on Saturdays), I gave them a call to see if they were still coming and they said they had called to confirm if i still wanted them to come and that since I didn't answer they sent the Plumber on another job.. It's wild to me that we have to confirm again next day, I called yesterday saying this is an emergency, my water heater is still broken, yes we still want you to come at the time you said you would come. For future reference I would suggest you at least tell people that you will be calling the next day to confirm so they can at least keep an eye on their phone. It was annoying to say the least. The second thing that bothered me was the price, very VERY expensive they quoted us 4,000 dollars originally, we were able to talk them down to a mere 3,600. Idk I'm no plumber but i looked around and everything was saying max price was 3,000. We felt like we had no other option but to pay this price because we urgently wanted this fixed. I do think you guys take advantage of people with the price on these urgent calls because you know we don't have very many options. You don't gotta be greedy just be fair. Ya'll definitely played us on the price fr. ‍ To wrap things up, I would give bees a 2.5 star for lack of communication and being greedy with their pricing. I will not be using their services again nor would I recommend. My husband and I contacted Bee's about a sump pump that we thought might have been installed incorrectly (by another company). We contacted Bee's, and they provided outstanding service the same day. They were quick to answer the phone, scheduled us right away, and sent a photo of the plumber so we would know who we would see at the door. Marcos and his assistant Jason helped us. We were concerned that this problem would require a huge fix costing a ton of money, but Marcos explained exactly how our sump pump was hooked up and put our minds at ease. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. All the pump needed was a check valve, and he quoted us a very reasonable price. We also had him look at our kitchen sink that was slow to drain, and we worked out a solution to re-do the pipes with a mechanical valve after he showed us our options. The price quoted was very fair for the fantastic work they did. We were told about the products they were using, any substitutions they needed to make, and showed both of us everything that was done at the end and explained all of our questions thoroughly. When Marcos had to leave to get a part, Jason continued to work. After they left, we were sent our invoices and before/after pictures of the work. Both techs were very professional and polite, and didn't try to upsell anything. Marcos in particular was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Their price was very fair and reasonable. Marcos even found an online coupon for me that I hadn't known about, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this company and will definitely call Bee's next time I need a plumber. Let's start with the good. I had a leak, I contacted them on a weekday morning and they came out the same day and fixed it. Their tech was polite and competent. They were actually nice to deal with, and so far, the repair is fine. The bad is that I feel like their business model is preying on the desperation of a home owner with water leaking from their ceiling. With an active leak I don't have time to line up multiple bids, and I'm at their mercy, and they know it, and they make you hurt. Maybe this is a "market will bear" situation, and I'm being unrealistic and ungrateful, and I'm just paying a fair price for the expedited nature of the repair. Perhaps that is a fair rebuttal to my complaint. But you don't get to to be a "market will bear it and you are desperate" kind of company AND get a good review from me. Honestly, the price I paid would be what I expect to pay for a middle of the night repair, or a holiday, not when I contact them on a weekday morning and they repair on a weekday afternoon. But you be the judge! Here are the details: Problem: Leaking shower drain Parts and materials: On amazon a good quality Oatey drain is $12. A trap is $10. Lets be extremely generous and say with sealant, blades, etc, lets imagine they spent $50 on parts and materials. Labor: 3 hours and 9 minutes between when I authorized the repair and when the tech told me he was finished. Price paid: $1544 plus tax ($1702 total). That is about $500/hour for expedited service during normal business hours. If I'm the unreasonable one, and you think this is fair price, then, dear reader, ignore me, and use this company. I had a good experience other than the price. If you agree with me that $500/hour is taking advantage of a homeowner in distress, then I would look elsewhere. EDIT: Alisse from Bee's plumbing reached out to me via telephone. She wanted me to change my review, and wanted to know what it would take for my experience to be a 5 star experience. She offered refunds or free work at my house. She was exceptionally polite and persuasive, and sounded remorseful that I'm not a happy customer. She's genuinely excellent at her job. However, as I see it, and after reading some other customer reviews (check the ones that have been changed from 1-2 stars to 4-5 stars) I think Bee's has a pretty smart and cynical business model. They seem to do good work with excellent service, then to rock your world with the price, especially for emergency work. If you leave a review complaining about the price they will work very hard to persuade you to raise the review, offering substantial refunds, and you get a pep talk from the amazingly persuasive Alisse, and they promise to "coach" their tech on how to do better next time. I'm lucky to be in the position to not be need the money more than I need my integrity, so I refused the refund and refused to change my rating. I think they are boosting their rating somewhat artificially with this strategy. The high rating of course is the reason I chose them in the first place. I think there are probably quite a few customers out there who got burned pretty hard, but they aren't the kind of people who leave Yelp reviews, so they don't get the Alisse treatment and a refund. read more
