While we have been pleased in the past with Bee's plumbing, the experience we just had was even better than ever. We called Bee's on a Saturday because we were without hot water. We ran into an issue with our garbage disposal which decided to just stop working. Josh was our technician, and did an incredible job in first trying to troubleshoot and fix the existing unit. When that sadly failed, he was able to install a new one which we picked up real quick from down the street. He was super friendly, and gave us all the info we could have possibly needed. Wow! I called Bee's today and my entire experience was extremely positive. Every person I worked with was cheerful and efficient. They were able to complete my repair the same day I called. If there were more stars I would award them to Josh, the service expert who handled my repair. He was knowledgeable, explained the problem and the possibilities for repair clearly and succinctly, and went above and beyond my every expectation. His assistant TD was friendly and efficient, too. I really can't say enough about how impressed I was. I've hired a lot of plumbers in my time, and always wanted to "have a plumber" I could trust and call on, and now I do. I have a plumber for life. PEACE OF MIND! Bees Plumbing installed a new water heater for me today. They were able to get a technican (Jacob) out to my home for a non-emergency issue very quickly, and they arrived exactly when they said they would. He let me know that they have several people who could respond quickly in my area, in case have any issues after the install. He treated me like a neighbor! He was also very knowledgable. I had an unusual issue that was causing my bath to fill with cooler water than the other faucets, yet there was no mixing valve installed for that (or any) faucet. But Jacob knew what the problem was likely to be, and he was able to solve it. (Turns out there was a mixing valve on the original water heater that didn't really belong there.) This is the second time Bees has been to my home, and each technician has been polite, professional, knowledgeable, and clean. I like it that they cover their shoes, and clean up well after their work. The customer service is also very good, and they are really nice to speak to. Called for a water heater replacement on a Saturday morning and Reid and Oba we're at my door in 30 minutes. They were professional, stayed on task andleft the area clean. In addition, Reid educated me on all the parts of the water heater and what to look for if I should have a concern in the future. The new water heater was installed by 1:45pm. We called a dozen plumbers on New year's day trying to find someone who could come out today to fix a major leak in our water heater that was spraying water everywhere. Everyone we dealt with at Bee's was professional, polite, and prompt. They were out to our place within a couple hours despite the snow, knew what to do to address the problem, had the part on hand in their truck that they needed to fix the issue, and were done with the work within half an hour. We were worried we would end up losing hot water during a holiday weekend. We didn't even get a call back from most of the people we contacted. We'll definitely call Bee's again next time we need a plumber. Very good experience. read more

On a Sunday Doc came all the way from Everett to unclog a dysfunctional toilet, then replaced the toilet with an ADD unit he had on his truck. He then unclogged the sink drain free of charge. Doc was quick, friendly, and efficient. Throughout he was also quietly training his apprentice. Did I mention this was all on a Sunday. We were very pleased. Five stars. If we ever have another problem, I will call Bee's and ask for Doc! read more

Bee's Plumbing is my first and only call, and Julio is above and beyond great. Bee's has efficient scheduling and dispatch, informed personnel, consideration in their work in and around the house and with their communication with us, and they solve problems! I've called them several times in our new home, most recently on issues left by subcontractors of our recent remodel. A crawlspace inspection revealed a leak, and Julio discovered that the shower drain pipe had not been attached properly to the drain, allowing water to pour into the crawl. While here, he also adjusted our water pressure, checked all the plumbing fixtures in the house, identified washing machine hoses that needed replacement, fixed the leaking hose bibs outside, and touched up protective paint on our gas meter while he was at it. There's an additional update to my original review and the experience was again, 5 stars. Unfortunately the pump that was installed had a manufacturing defect that was causing my outlets to trip. My man, Marcus, again came through in the clutch and ensured that everything was safe and sound. It appears he had another protege along with him, Diego, who was polite and clearly experienced. I will say, it is nice that Bee's sends multiple techs out when experiencing an issue. This not only ensures a faster repair/diagnosis, but in the event that work has to be done, they clean it up twice as fast and ultimately finished way earlier than if only 1 tech was working. I experienced an issue with my pump on Sunday night, called Bee's Monday morning, and they were at my house by noon, had my situation stable until s new pump could be brought in. They brought a brand new pump over by EOD Tuesday and my plumbing is good as new. I've recommended bee's to family and friends, not only for their competitive rates, but also their transparency and commitment to customer satisfaction. read more

Update: Jonah from Bee's Plumbing reached out in less than 24-hour period after my initial review was posted and wanted to find out what happened in detail. He was prompt and precise in what he could do to make it right and efficient in delivering his promise. I would happy to have someone like him for my business. He is an asset to his company. My experience turned from one star to four star because of his customer service. I am impressed with their operational efficiencies and customer experience management. Overall, I am content how they addressed my issue. From initial one star, I've updated to 4 star due to their exceptional customer service. In my particular case, they were not able to offer a clear estimate/solution to address my plumbing issue. That's the only reason for one less star. I got a call back promptly and was able to schedule a service easily. That was great. My disssatisfaction is based on the outcome of the service after spending close to $340 for "inspection." The plumber was not able to figure out why I was having this leaking sound and I was back to square. I had a leaking sound that needed to be inspected and addressed. I was offered this crawl space inspection "package" for over $300 where the plumber spent about 20 mins and came out to tell me there was no sign of leakage. The comnpany didn't even have a simple thermo-imaging hand gun to inspect inside the drywall for any leakage and my option was to cut up the drywall that would cost extra on top of $300+ I've already agreed to pay for this "crawl space inspect package." Considering they even charge for showing up to give you an estimate, I wish they had provided a clear solution to my problem. After spending considerable amount of money with no results left me back to square one. Why did I hire a professional in the first place? P.S. $1500+ estimate for replacing a faulty water pressure value was a showcase how much they need to charge to run their business. I was able to get multiple quotes that would cost 1/3 of their quote. Not the most affordable company. read more

We had a great experience with a job that could have gone a lot of different ways. We have a 4 month old, and after a leak in our main line that was bad enough to flood our basement, we had no water. We got several bids for the work, and they were not the cheapest, but the work seems excellent. Diego and his teams provided a complete and competitive plan to fix the problem, and when the fix needed adjusting, they did not take advantage of us, and provided us a permanent solution that cost much less than expected and got our water back on in 2 days. They took great care with our house, were very careful when excavating to protect a tree, and left everything as they found it. What more could you ask for? read more

So we notice a water stain on our ceiling. Shower is directly above on 2nd floor. We contact Bee's since they seemed to have so many good reviews. They say 100 to come out and give a quote. They arrive tale a quick look and ask for another 350 to cut a hole in ceiling to give an estimate. Seemed to be pretty high just for a few minutes to cut a hole in drywall. I wanted issue taken care and didn't want to have to wait around for another company to come out so I give the go ahead. I turns out to be obvious leak with shower drain. The guy then proceeds to tell me it "doesn't look good and can get really expensive." Says I may have to get a contractor out to pull out the tile to put in a new drain. He says he is going to his truck to think about what he can do for me like it is a really complex problem. Comes back 30 min later with proposal to" jimmy rig it", but no warranty on his work. All for only another $1100. So for a total of $1550 I get a unwarrantied drain repair. I decline. 5 minutes of tinkering with the drain and I find out all I need is a new gasket. A gasket I saw he had in hand from the beginning. After a trip to the plumbing supply store for a new gasket, I repair the drain in 5 minutes. They have no conscience at all. $1550 to replace a gasket in a drain. Stay away from this company unless you like throw away money. Update: So upon seeing my review I get contacted by Bee's. I must say they have been good with communication from day 1. They wanted to make it right and refunded the charge. It is good that they are willing to take the hit if customers are not happy. That gives them a bump in rating. Unfortunate that their business practices start the displeasure in 1st place. Gentleman that I did talk to did seem interested in documenting what happened. Hopefully they do use it to counsel the plumber and this is not a companywide issue. read more

From the initial scheduling to the plumbers showing up for the evaluation was primarily a positive experience. That's where the positivity ended though. The exorbitant amount of money they quoted to perform work on a 3/1 was comical. In no way shape or form would I have ever imagined that repiping a 1000sqft house would cost me the price of a brand new Tesla. It's evident that this company is taking advantage of homeowners in this current climate. Do yourself a favor and educate yourself before you decide to hire these guys. In the last year I've hired Bee's to complete a substantial amount of plumbing updates in my 22 year old condo full of that nasty CPVC. The glowing Yelp reviews, female owned and fully vaccinated crew is what drew me in initially, but after months of working with their team to complete my projects, there is so much more to rave about. Starting with scheduling an appointment, the level of professionalism is apparent right out of the gate. You're notified with reminders of upcoming appointments and sent a text when your crew is OTW. And they're always on time. Also friendly! (Hi Paulette) I worked with Daniel for all but one job. Admittedly, I'm an over anxious needy customer with a lot of questions and overactive desire to understand every detail of the task. Daniel was so patient with me, ensuring I understood all the things. He has such a strong work ethic and his workmanship immediately won me over. He's highly skilled across a multitude of plumbing jobs; including caring for CPVC. He partnered with my tile installation crew well to ensure we were all in sync on timing etc. He genuinely cares about the quality of his work and that your plumbing repair or replacement is done the right way. I never once felt like I was "having one pulled over on me" or that I was being shafted. A lot of folks on yelp might complain about Bee's prices, but they deserve to be paid well. I'd rather pay a little more upfront to have it done right the first time. read more

I needed to have my water heater replaced and called Bee's because they were highly recommended. I asked for a quote over the phone but said that they would need to come to my house to assess the situation before providing an estimate - a 'service' for which they charged $100. The quote was incredibly high, and, when I asked for an explanation, I was told that "to protect me, they charge an extra $1000 to cover unexpected expenses, like going to the store to get additional supplies or equipment." Seriously?! They charged me for the assessment and then asked that I pay an additional $1000 in case they need to go to the store for additional supplies?! Isn't that why I am paying the $100 for the assessment? And it's a water heater, NOT COMPLICATED. The plumber who did end up replacing the heater for me charged half of what Bee's quoted. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for any plumbing services. read more

I can't say enough about the fantastic service we received from Bee's Plumbing & Heating today. Our basement flooded due to a burst pipe. The receptionist was professional and incredibly helpful in getting someone to our place immediately. When PJ showed up, he said, "so sorry you are dealing with this." My bathtub had been cut down so that it was basically only a shower for people with medical disabilities. The area it was in was a little smaller than the smallest bathtub you can find today. My plumber, Mike, found a workable cast iron tub and installed it in a timely fashion. He did a lot of work to remove the old surround to get things ready for the contractor and fixed the loose shower head and leaking faucet which were not part of our original plan. He was professional and curious the whole time he was here. In the end he came back when the contractor was done to put the faucet and shower head on. When he did, we found problems with the vanity which again weren't discussed in the beginning. He quickly addressed them in a very small room while the contractor was still finishing his work. I couldn't be more happy with the work he did along with handling unforseen challenges as he did so in a timely manner. This was the only bathroom in my house so getting things done quickly is exactly what I had hoped for. read more

Had an issue with my toilets... oh what joy and had a warranty I was trying to use. The team was super responsive and smart up an appointment really quickly. They do communicate via text and keep you up to date. Naturally my warranty was crap and didn't cover anything but Tate and his bid completed the job. They left the bathrooms clean which was great for me and did excellent work. They also managed to complete rather quickly so it wasn't a long process since I mean we know we all need to use the potty. They were really professional and I felt it was a good price for the job. I got a family member a reverse osmosis unit for Christmas. I have the same unit at home, but unfortunately traveling I didn't have any tools to complete the install. I called 3-4 plumbers in Seattle explaining to them the exact valve and everyone had no clue what it was even after I sent pictures! Finally I got in touch with Bee's Plumbing and scheduled an appointment with their dispatch team. I've hired a lot of general contractors in my time, they were by far the most professional and responsive. Marcus & Tavien showed up and even taught me a few things to help me understand the pipes for the house if I ever needed to work on it my self. I wish I had them where I currently live! If you're in Seattle in need of a good and reliable plumbing company you're in luck. Don't look elsewhere or waste your time calling others. We woke up this morning to find our 14 yr old hot water tank leaking. I looked online at a couple of couple of companies, but based on their Yelp reviews, I passed them up. I had seen the Bee's Plumbing trucks driving around (can't miss them!). They were on my Google list of Companies. I went with Bee's because they had more positive reviews. Ashley was amazing and helpful on the phone- we were able to schedule an appointment for today (same day! Score!) between noon and 2pm. That gave us enough time to run to Home Depot to pick up a new hot water tank. We were notified by phone and text to let us know they were on their way. Who else does that? Ben and Josh arrived before noon and gave us a quote for the job. He installed our new tank, and brought it up to code (very important). It only took a couple of hours. I highly recommend Bee's Plumbing - Ben and Josh were very friendly and professional. I read some reviews where people were upset that Bee's charges $99 to come out to give a quote. They will deduct that fee if you accept the job. Here's our new hot water tank! Julio provided amazing service. We had a very odd leak coming from an old galvanized pipe in the ground at our home. He came to inspect, discovered the issue and provided concise details about what work was going to be completed and how much it would cost. Bee's Plumbing and Heating based in West Seattle is woman owned is very responsive! An actual human (Ashley) answers the phone and is helpful! They send an automated message via text and email to tell you who the plumber is coming to your house - with photo and mini bio so you don't feel like you are letting a complete stranger in the house! Mick and Garrett came an hour earlier than the window Ashley gave me - but she called first to see if I was ok with the early arrival. They were here for over 4 hours and really cleaned up an old, bad, amateur plumbing job in and around the water heater, washer/dryer. It was pricier than I expected but I have not dealt with replacing a water heater in over 20 years and that was in MN. Also, my water heater is low voltage and small to fit a specific space space so they had to make an extra trip to pick it up. All fixed for the next 10 years I hope! read more

The toilets I bought are not easy to install. They are heavy, and with concealed trapway. The design makes alignment and tightening the bolts very difficult. Sam and Luke are true professionals. They arrived on time, did perfect job, and cleaned up everything afterward. I'm very impressed by the way they handle tough job with ease. Our 22 yo water heater finally failed on a Saturday morning back on 11/12/22. After calling around, Bee's was the quickest to respond and attempt to schedule us in for later in the day. The plumber, Josh, was super friendly and explained all the work and pricing accurately.
