**Updated Review:**…read more I'm updating my review because Jennifer reached out after my original experience and took the time to listen to my concerns. She was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about making things right. She worked with me to resolve the issue, and I truly appreciate the time and effort she put into ensuring I felt heard. While my initial experience with the moving crew and management was disappointing, Jennifer completely changed my impression of the company's customer service. She handled the situation with empathy, clear communication, and professionalism from start to finish. I want to sincerely thank Jennifer for going above and beyond to resolve my concerns. Great customer service can make all the difference, and she is the reason I'm updating my review. I truly appreciate her dedication to making things right.

He offered a partial refund, which I appreciated. Because of how respectfully this was handled, I'm updating my review and adjusting my star rating to reflect the resolution. That said, I will return with another update if the refund does not arrive within the promised week.) I am extremely disappointed upon arriving at my place and opening my boxes that were in storage this past week. On 29 March, 2026, I hired this company to do only the packing, and the pre-unpacking review was positive only because the movers were friendly. Now, I know why - a bit akin to servers being overly friendly just before giving the bill. On 7 April, 2026, I finally was able to take my stuff out of storage and open some of the boxes. I'm absolutely floored at what I've discovered. Long and short of it, one of the boxes was never even fully taped or taped at all, and everything that was in my drawers had been dumped into the box. Nothing was wrapped, including the little lamp that I had - just took the lightbulb out and threw it in there. Took off the shade so it would fit - didn't care if it got crushed or torn. Then, I guess he couldn't or was too lazy (?) to put the shoes all in one box or something, because he dumped a bunch of them in there, too! No glass or breakable items were wrapped and I had supplied them with plenty of wrapping paper, as there was even some leftover. Bottles of liquid substance were not securely shut and protected from leakage. It appeared as though drawers of things were dumped out into boxes with no regard. I haven't opened all the boxes, but from what I've seen so far, I suspect I'll have to update. I will also add that without seeing any price list for boxes, no transparency about that whatsoever, I ended up paying $95 just for boxes - they said they would use as many of mine as possible, and even after the 10 small ones they gave gratis, there were several of mine leftover, but I was out $95, and no one showed me the price breakdown of this. There is *no way that was an honest summary! Furthermore, I was pressured by one of the movers into giving a 20% tip! The audacity! Especially after deceitfully charging me $95 for a few boxes!!! I emailed customer service address, along with a direct reply to Michell, who processed my order, as well as a text to his assistant Megan. As I figured, I would be ghosted once I needed actual "after I've paid" support. I read other reviews that said similar. No one has reached out via phone call or email. The reply Megan wrote in a text seems like the canned responses all businesses use, and rarely, do these hold any water. I am out of pocket over $500 due to this poor service, but that doesn't matter to them, because it's now in their pockets now. p.s.When I went onto Yelp to review them, there is a warning pop-up about fake reviews. I've attached photo.

Gregory, our onsite lead, was responsive, well organized, and his four-person crew worked very hard. My advice to anyone moving is to be realistic about how much stuff you have. I got three quotes. One company estimated one-and-a-half 27-foot trucks, while Royal and another company estimated one 27-foot truck. My move-out apartment was 895 sq ft with a large patio. Before moving day, I made two 10-foot Home Depot truck trips myself with the delicate and bulky items: my electric bike, Peloton, and other things that don't stack well. Royal filled a 27-foot truck with everything else, efficiently using all the available space. We did go a little over the estimate because of rush-hour traffic. The only part I didn't enjoy was the payment app prompting for a tip at checkout. After a long moving day, that was one unnecessary stress point because I never know what's considered an appropriate tip for professional movers. Fortunately, I had already planned ahead with cash tips and cold Gatorades for the crew throughout the day. I highly recommend Royal Movers. They made a difficult move much easier. I also gained a whole new respect for my son, his friend, and my old girlfriend, who helped me move the last time. And ChatGPT-5.5, who helped me figure out which movers to get an estimate from, the tip beforehand, and helped edit this review

We tipped so much for OK moving services because they shoved that in our face after. Not one member of the crew offered to get the items that didn't make the truck. Even though we tipped $600. They did want our old computers and wanted to take some things - they were polite and asked but looking back - this was overpriced and under delivered. I hired ONE guy on Task Rabbit the next day and he was the equivalent of Royal Moving's entire team. Don't get me wrong, the guys were nice, courteous and fun but business is business and we got ripped off.

They helped me move from 1500 sq ft, one story home to a 3100 sq ft, two story home. They were on time (early even) and I was shocked at how much they hustled! Carlos, Juan, and Angel - thank you so much. When booking they tried to get me to add a 4th person but I refused thinking we would be ok since we were helping too. Wrong. Go by their suggestions. Although, they did say we would be fine with 27 ft truck even after I described how much stuff we had but turns out we needed 2 trips which ate up more time. Still worth it, but it was longer than I thought.

It was basically Two Schmucks and a Truck. They were inefficient and made off color remarks. All the boxes had rooms labeled on them but they still had no idea. Things were not treated with care and they moved at a glacial pace. It was a good thing I had personally moved a ton of stuff already or who knows how long it would take. I was surprised because the first move seemed so well done... I did have a third guy but I also was moving more stuff then. When I reached out with my complaints the owner or whoever answered the email told me I had been undercharged the first time. Well, if I would have known that I would have not used them again. Good thing they shook me down for over $800 this time because I will never use them again and have already told people I had recommended them about this ghastly experience. Thumbs all the way down.
