Well delivery took a hour and a half. I was told a hour. The food I ordered large pizza and a beef sandwich. Only thing good to say about the sandwich was the beef is better than it used to be. Used to live around the corner from this location & get their sausage deep dish often. Very, very good. Almost had a homemade quality about it. At any rate, I moved away long ago & wonder if it's still of the same high quality & imagine it is. I know it stood out over their thin, & stuffed but honestly hard to keep straight who does WHAT best, i should keep a list---all things being equal (if you like ALL 3 the same)....some manage all varieties VERY well but most are known specifically for one that I can tell. This review is has nothing to do with the quality of the pizza. It has to do with the service that I was given. I came into this location during my lunch just to pick up a couple of slices for my coworkers and myself. The woman that answered the phone was very friendly informing me they had slices ready to go. The issue I had was with the cashier Nicole. Very rude, now she was correct with asking for my i.d as it is written on the back of my card, but to keep flipping my card back and forth looking at it has me skeptic and wondering why. Than to slam my card on your keyboard and basically make the pen fall out of your hand to drop on the counter unacceptable. I understand we have our days but some behavior is not accepted no matter what industry. I did speak to the "manager" and informed him that she was being rude and maybe should have a talk with her, so hopefully that helped. That little encounter will make me think twice before coming to this location during my lunch. I will got the extra way to get better service from the other beggars not far away. read more

I work in the area, so Beggars is my go-to place. I've been eating here for years but finally got around to writing a review! I LOVE Beggars Pizza. Full stop. Period. It is my favorite! I do love pizza in general, but this place just gets it so right. The sauce is perfect; the sweet and spice blend makes for impeccable flavor. The cheese is perfect, tastey and ooey and gooey goodness. The crust is my favorite. It's the perfect thickness, not too thin, not too much, and it's buttery and flakey. Now I'm hungry. So, besides this amazing pizza, their beef sandwiches are excellent! I think the sandwiches and pasta may be overlooked by folks, but try them! The beef is really good, but I shock many when I tell them this is also my favorite burger! Yes, the burgers are that good. Believe me. My husband adores the meatball sandwich with hot peppers and the lasagna. I eat in a lot for lunch, and usually carry out for evenings. The staff is always polite and I am always greeted with a smile. The waitstaff is charming and efficient, and it is always clean. Oh! Never thought I would give my sign off for a pizza chain, but alas, here I am. I'm pretty particular about my pizza, but I had heard good things about Beggars, so we gave it a try the other night. First of all, they aren't exactly a stones throw from the house, so we called first to make sure they would deliver out to us. Whoever answered the phone was super helpful and let us know that they do in fact deliver to my area. It took about an hour for the pizza to come, and it was well worth the wait. We got a pepperoni/sausage pizza and asked that it be well done, which they did do to perfection. The pizza tastes fresh and handmade, not defrosted and popped in an oven. The best thing about Beggars pizza is that its super thick, they load up on cheese and ingredients. I would definitely recommend Beggars to anyone who is thinking about trying it, I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

This pizza was more than I could have ever expected it to be. It was so cheesy and the wings were crispy. I am just a visitor but when I come back, this place will be the first place I eat at. Usually pretty good customer service. This is probably the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. 4 of us went out to eat here, and we killed a Family size pizza (the biggest one they have). The atmosphere itself isn't that nice, but the service is friendly, the pizza tastes great, and it's fairly priced. We always get a sausage pizza with nothing else and that's enough for us! So I had been hearing ad's for Beggar's Pizza on the radio for a year or so. I decided to give them a shot. They did not disappoint. They really do "lay it on thick" The pizza was well cooked and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the staff polite. I've ordered several pizzas since the first and they have all been excellent. This is the third time now that I ordered delivery from Beggars. The first time, everything was fine. The next two, not so much. The second time, they completely forgot my order. After an hour and half of waiting for my pizza, I called and was informed that the phone person forgot to enter my order in and it was never made. The manager stated that he would send me a $25 gift card for the mishap, but never sent it to me. So, flash forward to my most recent order. The third time, they delivered me the wrong pizza and was informed by the manager that they can offer me a credit of the difference of the pizza, which comes out to $4.29. Now, I have workedin the restaurant field for a long time and I know mistakes are going to happen, human error is going to happen, but when it does, restaurants need to make it right.
