Omg! If you want a sweet and savory treat this is your place! I've been looking and craving beignets in our area and so glad I came here. Super cute restaurant, they also serve other foods and drinks! We ordered the 8 piece Beignets, by themselves, no sauces, I wanted to try them as they were. They were nice and fresh, made to order, so soft, sweet and just so delicious! We also ordered their chicory cold brew, it was strong! So if you need a pick me up in the morning, this is the coffee to order lol Customer service was so amazing. The young lady/cashier that helped us was so sweet. She knew it was our first time there so she went through the menu and made recommendations. She was so attentive and just plain amazing. Definitely will be back, a must try in the Inland Empire.

I ordered the morning hash to go with a trio of beignets. It was delicious and way bigger than I expected, with a generous helping of chicken. Tots were crispy as well even under the sauce and cheese (which was kind of pooled to one side, but I actually appreciated this, since I could dip the tots in it). There were some stir-fried peppers too; I actually would have loved some more! Overall, the salty tots definitely paired well with beignets to offset the sugar overload. The interior was clean and organized, and service was quick and friendly. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant, with one spot for quick trips (10, 15min). Otherwise it seems to be all paid parking.

Service was fast and staff friendly Cute little spot by the court house. I ordered the jerk chicken with fries. It was good nothing out of the ordinary. For 19.00 and bottle of water I was expecting a little more. At least I can say I tried this place.

Wanted this to be good so bad :( Chicken was alright, good crisp but just kind of bland. Fries were superbly soggy and cold. Portion sizes extremely small for the two tenders and price. Beignets were alright, you gotta eat them hot otherwise they're gonna be soggy and mid.

First time visiting Beignet in Riverside, and we were pleasantly surprised! We started with the Berry Berry Beignet light, fluffy, and full of fresh berry flavor. My husband and I both really enjoyed it. We also tried the jerk fried chicken sandwich, which was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The lemonade was a little too sweet for my taste, but still nice and refreshing. The service was wonderful friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, perfect for enjoying a casual meal. One of my favorite parts was watching the staff make fresh beignets right in front of us; it's such a fun and unique touch that adds to the experience. If you're in Riverside and craving something fresh, flavorful, and a little different, I definitely recommend giving this spot a try.

Angela was the quintessential host for our triple warm ooey gooey beignet flight: Bananas Foster, Berries, and Caramel!!! It was ooooooooooohhhhh:::::::::::::mmmmmmmnnnn:::::: perfectly warm & creamy! The flavors were on point. We were invited to expand our repertoire of tastes by familiarizing ourselves with the breakfast and lunch menus. It all looked super yummy! The jerk chicken sandwich especially might get us to make a U-turn right back here very soon. Ambiance was clean, comfortable, and informal. We actually have been back twice since my last review but this time decided to eat inside because boy that sugar gets all over the place when we eat in the car! These beignets are especially amazing when eaten as soon as they're dropped in front of us, while they're still piping hot and crispy. I wish I could remember her name but the lady who helped us was so super friendly and attentive.

Went to New Orleans a few weeks ago. Was craving good Beignets. This little shop has nailed it. The service was good, it's a little front counter, with one person manning the register. And sounds like maybe one cook in the back. The menu isn't huge, which happily makes things easy to order. Beignets and some sandwiches. We had some Beignets, and OMG these were actually pretty epic. We had some caramel apple Beignets. The ambiance to the place, it's kind of semi industrial and semi eatery. If the windows on it opened up wide, it could easily make out for being straight outta Nawlins. If you want to try Beignets, but don't have the cash to fly out to the South. The Beignet Spot will take you there, without all the airport hassle.

After having lunch in the area I stopped in here for some dessert. I ordered one of their "artisan" offerings - Berry Berry. This consisted of 6 beignets covered with their house made berry filling, whipped cream, raspberry sauce, and vanilla wafer crumble. I also ordered a hot chicory coffee. My coffee was handed to me and I was given a number to take to my table. They make the beignets to order so they are delivered fresh and hot. It took a little over five minutes. There's a window you can look through to see them being made. The beignets were incredible, larger than I expected. The berry sauce that covered the beignets was delicious; I know that strawberries and blueberries were used - maybe other berries too. The whipped cream was just the right amount as was the vanilla wafer crumble. The raspberry drizzle was hardly worthwhile but it made for nice presentation. Berry Berry could be shared by two people but they were so good they were all gone before I knew it. I'd never had chicory coffee before. A few sips and I realized it wasn't a taste for me. I tossed it, which was a waste of $4. Gotta take chances sometimes. Parking, both in the nearby lot or on the streets, is all paid. Downtown Riverside is notorious for that. It wasn't horrible; $1.50 for 30 minutes (as of this writing). And certainly worth it for those fantastic beignets!

I was really excited to try this place and had high hopes when I went for their grand opening, but they took foreveeeeerrrrr to give me my beignets and it wasn't busy at all. The beignets were good, warm and delicious. I would go back in hopes they're more organized now. The cashier was friendly when attending me. The atmosphere was small, cozy, with some tables and bar stools and a cool window to look at beignets being made (reminded me of Krispy Kreme). After I sat down to wait for my beignets, I noticed a couple parties getting antsy and frustrated because they were taking long on their orders. And I overheard them speaking up on waiting for a while. I witnessed a couple leave because they forgot about their order and served someone who got there way after them. It was upsetting to witness that because they didn't get what they payed for.

I hate to have to write a bad review. I came here to buy an 8 pack of beignets only. My parents were in town so I wanted them to try it. I left my two babies in the car with their grandparents for this quick stop. I had to wait in line since there was a few people ahead of me who took a while to order (which was fine) My dad even came in to check in (which I believe at the time the manager had come in quickly) I finally got to order (order taken with Candace) I assumed it would be quick since it's only beignets but nope... I waited 20 minutes. Didn't leave till 11:42 And the only reason it wasn't longer was because another lady asked me if I had been helped since she saw me just waiting. And she said Candace had never given them the ticket! I would have kept on waiting. I could see my dad waiting outside the car looking upset at how long it had been and the kids just crying. At this point, the whole experience was ruined and I wasn't even interested in the beignets. I just wanted my money back and leave without them but the lady asked the cook to give her my order. So I quickly took it and left. I was just upset at the lack of customer service (Even though the lady who gave me my order was kind and kept apologizing) This made me not want to come back. Not a good experience and I hope they can do better next time. I wouldn't have Candace taking orders if she's going to lose them. Spoiled the whole experience.

We are so excited to see this spot pop up in our city. Bright, open cafe. Located in the heart of riverside. The beignet was the best fried food I've had. The oil tasted fresh and flavorful ( I didn't know that was possible). I was also so happy to find a place that serves chicory coffee. I had the large iced, it was wonderful! read more

Wonderful beautiful delicious! This spot is amazing and very stylish. I happen to be driving by saw the BEIGNET sign and who doesn't love hot powdered beignets. This spot sells everything all day which is a definite plus! The menu is not complex soooo you get 1. Delicious 2. Delicious 3. Delicious so on and so on (I ordered breakfast bc I was having a challenging day and needed a restart in the afternoon ) and the prices are right on the money. You must stop here if you're near the mission inn in riverside!! I think there may even be live music coming.... But that wasn't my conversation read more

This place is fantastic. I've visited twice since their soft open and they have not disappointed. Everything is fresh, so the wait may be longer but it's worth it in the end. The beignets are top tier. The first time I had a beignet was at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. They've set the bar for any beignet I've had since and Beignet Spot is the only place that's come close. Their beignets are light and fluffy, exactly like they should be. All of their artisan beignets are great. The berry beignets and the cobbler beignets are too sweet for me, so I prefer the bananas foster beignets. The spice on their jerk chicken is amazing. I really don't have a bad thing to say about the quality and flavor of their food. It's fantastic. I wish they offered smaller portions of their food and that you could order smaller quantities of beignets or the sides on their own, but those are minor quibbles. I really hope this place is successful because they deserve to become a food staple in downtown Riverside. read more

Stumbled upon this one, browsing through Yelps Stuff worth planning section. And man I tell you, this place is worth checking out. The Mrs. and I shared the peach cobbler beignets, which delicious. And we order an 8 pack with chocolate dipping sauce to take home, because my daughter would have killed me , had I not. They had other choices , like a jerk chicken sandwich and a breakfast sandwich that looked scrumptious. Can't wait to to got back and try something new . And the topper!!! It's A Black owned business. Fabrice ,the manager walked around making sure everyone was enjoying. Very nice and friendly. The place is very very clean. Was looking for a spot to eat yesterday, and happened across this wonderful place via yelp. Came in about 30 mins before closing, and despite it likely being a busy day the restaurant was nice and clean. Other spots I've been to you can tell they didn't really clean towards the end. AC was blasting and considering it was 100+ yesterday it felt heavenly. We both ordered the jerk chicken sandwich with the side of peach cobbler beignets. First thing we bit into were the beignets and wow they were absolutely scrumptious. I have a sweet tooth, and these definitely satisfied it. I would 100% recommend and can't wait to try it again. The sandwich was also delicious with the jerk chicken having an amazing taste. Wasn't greasy, and the aioli sauce was delectable. Really happy I tried this spot out! read more

I was searching Yelp for a place in Riverside that served breakfast but was not your standard diner fare so I am really glad I came across Beignet Spot. My family and I visited on a Monday around 11am. There were a few spots open but we found a table we could squeeze into (there were 5 of us). We ordered the Breakfast JFC sandwich, a Beignet Combo, Jerk Fried Chicken Sandwich, & "B" Rustic Fried Chicken Salad, sweet tea, coffee, and iced coffee to eat there. Took Berry Berry & Banana Foster beignets to go. Highs: Extremely friendly/gracious folks taking orders and serving drinks/food. Food was fantastic! Everything we ordered was yummy. (I generally do not eat chicken tenders but would absolutely get them from here again.) Coffee was smooth. (Was hesitant to get Chicory coffee as it can be bitter but I had 2 cups, black with 1/2 & 1/2 and wanted more.) Serving size of meals was plentiful so we had plenty of leftovers to eat later. The beignets we took home were unbelievable. Even though we didn't eat them right away, they were not mushy. I couldn't stop eating the Banana Foster. I would drive there for just this. Could use attention: Took awhile to get food. Same with sweet tea & iced coffees. We were informed that a large online order has come through just before we got there, but we weren't necessarily in a hurry so it was ok. Not sure why it took so long for the drinks though. (We were given a second serving of sweet tea & iced coffee for our wait.) It might be a problem if folks had somewhere they have to be right after though. No refills on coffee or sweet tea when dining in. Especially if it takes awhile to get food, it might behoove the owners to consider offering a refill as it gets really pricey to buy multiple iterations and customers may be left wanting. Overall: I would absolutely recommend and hope to get back here soon. read more

Today I had the pleasure of enjoying this gem of a cafe! It was so peaceful walking in but I believe it was probably the calm before the storm. According to the associate today, they get very busy and I can understand why. Their food is SO GOOD! We ordered the beignets ( not pictured) and the jerk chicken sandwich with waffle fries! Customer service was excellent. I felt extremely welcome. We will certainly be back! I hear the breakfast is delicious. read more

So I was so excited to try this place because I crave the ones from downtown Disney. These were ok because some seemed a little undercooked. I also was looking forward to raspberry sauce and of course they were out! Another customer after me ordered another flavor and I heard the girl say they were of his choice too. It seemed very clean and no one was in there at 10:00 am so maybe I came after the am rush? One of my peep peeves lately is how places hand you the keypad or total requesting if you want to leave a tip? I think this is a major turn off that food cashier's expect tips. Just my opinion! I will come back but only after calling to make sure they are not out of what I want... restaurants should be better prepared and have enough that they never run out of sauce especially. read more

This place is amazing! The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the minute we walked in to the second we left. The food is super great too. A chicken sandwich, waffle fries and 2 beignets for only $13.50 was great value and it was delicious. The fries were nice and crispy and the sandwich had a lot of flavor. The beignets were perfect too and sweet tea complimented everything. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Would love to try their brunch sometime. Have been looking forward to this place for quite a while now. It was a great experience all around for our small party of 5, 3 adults and 2 kiddos. We ordered 12 beignet with the chocolate and raspberry sauces. The order came out quickly. The beignets were fresh and delicious. I also ordered the B Spot Sandwich with sausage which took just a bit longer. It was fresh and very tasty. The fluffy eggs were better than I could have imagined. We had the stubborn sodas which were refreshing and delicious. My mom had the chicory shake which she called a meal and my daughter had the cold brew and really enjoyed it. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I am so looking forward to going back over and over and over again. read more

Great location in downtown Riverside. First impression was excellent. It was beautiful decor, all neutral colors. Very clean bathroom and dining room. Staff were friendly helpful. Then beignets were better than I expected them to be. They were light fluffy and airy and full of flavor. If you have ever had beignets or made them yourself, do not come to this "spot". I got my order and opened it in my car. I had never had a flat beignets saturated with oil. If you like your beignets saturated with oil this is your "spot". This place was extremely disappointing. I wish i could rate 0. read more

Love beignets so I stopped in real quick to check this new place out. And.... it did not disappoint. I had the cobbler beignets and it was YUM! Just like a peach cobbler but with beignets. The beignets are a perfect touch. They are soft but slightly crisp on the edges, with just the right amount of powdered sugar and complemented with warmth peaches poured over the top. This is a new spot. I love the decor, seating, and that you can view the kitchen through a giant window. The menu options is small and suits the name. Ask for beignets and that's what you get. I will definitely come back again and have already recommended it to several people. read more

I've been here 3 times since they opened and I love it! The food is fresh and delicious and the service is awesome as well. The owners are soo sweet and very friendly. I only recommend restaurants that I truly believe are great and this is one of the few! They have a nice seating area inside and everything is clean. Wow. This place was so bomb. I left with a good impression. The chicken was hot and crispy and not to mention very flavorful. It didn't even need any sauce. The beignets are so fluffy and soft like a cloud and are served with honey on the side. I can't wait to go back read more

Delicious! Tried the banana foster topped beignets and they were 10/10, would highly recommend. Be prepared to wait because they are freshly made. They recently opened and are trying to get into the groove, so give them some grace. I promise you will not be disappointed. Definitely will visit when I'm downtown. read more

I will say, their beignets are great. 4/5 for the beignets alone. We ordered a side of tater tots, the cashier said nothing as we ordered this, just jotted it down and read it back to us with the rest of our order. When we received our food, I checked the bag and to our dismay, there were not tater tots but cubed breakfast potatoes. When we asked the cashier about our order of tater tots, she replied with "these are our tater tots right now." Not sure I would agree with this statement... Would have appreciated an honest moment when we ordered tater tots, since this was an item we were specifically looking for. We've ordered this before and never had this issue, which is why we were confused when we did not receive the tots. read more

This is my first visit here, but it will not be my last. I ordered a rustic fried chicken salad didn't know it came with two beignets on the side and I ordered the peach cobbler beignets six of them. Oh my God delicious. I will definitely try this place again and eat something else off the menu but for right now I'm very pleased, the chicken has a little kick to it and it's good. The beignets come with peach cobbler, whip cream crumble bread. Oh no crumbled cake delicious. read more

The food was really good. Beignets are better than Disneyland that's for sure. Service was superb very nice people. Very nice place as well in downtown Riverside. Safe place by the court house. There Beignet are worth a try and for me to go back to. read more

The flavor combinations of the Jerk Chicken, slaw, pickles, and Aoli were on point! Loved the Beignet! Welcoming atmosphere and friendly service (Fabrice!) Driving down market and saw this spot. So glad we stopped. Not your typical spot where all the hustle is on Mission or university but still a convenient location. 10th and Market on the corner with an awesome wood door. Decided let's try the classic with a raspberry dip on the side. Alone delicious, dip even more delicious. The fact that you can watch them make your order is cool especially for kids or grown up kids like me We can't wait to come back and try different items. When he explained that I was already ordering, she repeated herself in a dismissive tone and continued making sandwiches without making eye contact once. What stood out most wasn't just the lack of hospitality, but the overall attitude from multiple staff members. The environment felt cold, dismissive, and inconvenienced by customers being there at all. Ironically, the café advertises community classes like yoga and live meditation classes on the window, yet basic customer service and professionalism seem completely absent. The food itself was fine, which is why this review is specifically about the service experience. Even after how poorly we were treated, I still left a tip because I refuse to match that level of disrespect. Management seriously needs to address the customer service culture here. One rude interaction can happen anywhere -- but multiple employees displaying the same behavior reflects a larger issue.

I must say I was hesitant to go here for a few reasons (none of them great, to be honest). First, the name--I didn't get the connection between "arcade" and "coffee" (then again what does that matter). Second, the location: it's in an odd building that doesn't scream typical coffee shop, with restricted and unusual parking. After overcoming these nonsensical, self-created mental barriers, we walked inside and saw that this is a sophisticated operation with wonderful products, employees, and a truly unique experience. When we entered, we saw a very nice menu with pictures showcasing the drinks and highlighting what makes each one special. The barista was super casual and friendly. She asked over the counter if we had any questions and told us to let her know when we were ready. Her welcoming approach was perfect for first-time visitors. We ordered the Mango Sticky Rice matcha and the Cherry Glaze matcha. Both were delicious, and it was clear that quality is a major focus here. The matchas weren't overloaded with syrup like some places; instead, they tasted naturally infused--subtle, balanced, and perfect. For snacks, we tried the salmon bagel and the blueberry scone. Both were excellent. The bagel was fresh and packed with flavor, again showcasing quality ingredients. The scone was one of the best I've had from a coffee shop--it tasted like it came straight from a bakery. The blueberries were large and bursting with flavor, and the texture was ideal: not too hard, not too soft. It was just right. (They should name it "Goldilocks"!) In addition to coffee, matcha, and chai tea, they also offer craft sodas and other choices for any mood. We decided to enjoy our drinks and snacks inside. As we sat, we noticed they have their own bean-roasting machine (totally unique!). I've never seen one in person, but for coffee lovers who enjoy fresh roasts, this means they bring in green coffee beans, roast them on-site, and produce the freshest, highest-quality product possible. (You could say "they have the beans" -- a little Curb Your Enthusiasm reference for fans of the show.) Aside from having "the beans," they also had a projector showing the World Cup. There are plenty of seating options: tables with chairs, standing desks, sofas, and benches. We will definitely be returning to this little slice of heaven on Earth.

I got my favorite mug here and for a pretty fair price too! They make a huge variety of tea blends, available in tiny pouches so you can sample lots of different types without making a commitment to a huge bag. There is a shop cat who lives here named Pepper. She seems clean and friendly, and the teas are hung up on the wall and not placed on a table so you won't get litter paws all over your tea leaves. Maybe it's just something to be aware of if you have cat allergies or just dislike them.

I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.

On this particular trip, I wanted to try their new syrup flavor (it was some form of orange zest, or something similar?), but noticed my latte had no real flavor in it after a few sips. Upon looking at the receipt, the person who took my order just gave me a regular cafe latte and didn't add the syrup I requested. The coffee was fine, but I would have liked trying something new. I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.
