While many places in the area offer dull, unflavored, highly processed Chinese food, Beijing Express is not one of them. At this place, you are definitely going to get the bang for your buck. Most Chinese food places will give you enough food to feed an army in order to make up for their poor flavor, but not this place. Beijing gives you so much food that they often cannot even close the lids of the cartons and it tastes delicious! As other yelpers have mentioned, the staff can be a bit "unwelcoming" at first, but I cut them some slack and you would too if you saw the kind of people that come here. I constantly see people being blatantly disrespectful to the staff for no reason. If you come in here with an attitude, you are going to get one back. That is not really the best customer service model, but as more of a "mom and pop" shop, it works out. The taste of their food brought me back inititally, but now the staff are more than welcoming and always chat with me. The only issue I've ever really had with this location is their Boba. The drinks themselves (like Thai Tea and smoothies) are delicious, but something about their Boba never really hits the spot for me. I've had times where I ordered it with my drink and it tasted delicious and other times where it tasted burnt or grainy. This inconsistency as well as their location is why I docked off a star. The total came to 8.97 not bad but then she added .50 charge because it's under 10 ok what ever they charge it Oh so sorry I forgot to charge you for egg roll 1.35 plus .50 for debit card so now it's over 10 dollars and your still trying to charge me twice!
