We were pleasantly surprised by the professional and friendly manner in which we were treated by the sales associate Fred. We called Bell Honda inquiring if they had a 2021 Honda CR-V hybrid on the lot. Fred said there was one available and he would have it ready for us to test drive when we arrived. About 10 minutes later, we met with Fred and he accompanied us on the test drive. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered all of our questions. We were also interested in the Toyota Rav-4 hybrid and he was able to give us some information about it as well. We told him we would like to test drive that before making our final decision. He directed us to the nearby Toyota dealership and gave us the name of who to ask for when we got there. After test driving the Rav-4, we decided we preferred the CR-V hybrid. We returned to Bell Honda to ask what we could get on our trade-in vehicles. Fred then found out that the CR-V that we test drove had been taken out for another test drive and sold while we are at the Toyota dealership. He promptly checked and discovered that the "twin" to the one we test drove would be arriving in a few days. In the finance department, we met with Robert and that was pretty streamlined and effortless. Like Fred, he was very knowledgeable and professional. In summary, we feel like we got a great deal on the brand new CR-V hybrid that was in transit, and Fred made us an awesome deal on our trade-ins. Their service team sucks, I had an appointment to get some coating on my car, took it in early just for them not to finish, I called and all they could say is they would leave a message for the guy handling it, waited all day but there was nothing until I called back and someone else answered saying they were closed and didn't get no call back about anything, every time we go to this service they always mess something up, before this I took it in for a routine service and they somehow managed to mess up an oil change which completely messed my engine up. read more

Your typical shady used car dealer. We had an online price they refused to honor. First they tried to add an increase of 25% to the cost of the vehicle in dealer incentives that were of zero value to us. Paint protection on a used car that we had to come back to the dealer which is 50 miles away every 6 month? No thanks for the inconvenience. Having to do the normal waste of time negotiating they took most of the incentives off but still wouldn't honor the price we built on line that included tax, title, license and doc fees. If your looking for the stereotypical shady used car experience and overpay for useless dealer incentives Bell Honda is the place for you. read more

I had a very poor experience at this dealership. They tried to say that the process would be simple and easy, but it was nothing close to that. I went to purchase a Toyota Prius. It took two days to get ready and when I received the car, it was still dusty and dirty inside. After driving all the way home, they forgot to give me my paperwork twice. I had to drive back on two different occasions. After all of that, within 6 days my service engine light came on and turns out. They sold me a bad battery pack. I tried getting hold of the sales team, the finance manager, and anyone else. I got zero response and I'm still waiting on a call. To replace the battery is over $3000. They basically have no 30day warranty or anything. I took it into another dealership that I liked. They stated the battery has been bad for months and if they tested it. They would have known UPDATE 6.15.19- They did end up replacing my battery. I had to have multiple conversations with the service team and still ended up paying $150 for service but finally taken care of. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My car's A/C quit working in August of 2023, the hottest summer in history, with excessive heat warnings of temperatures over 110 degrees. I took it in to Bell Honda on August 7 for my 7:20 am appointment. They said the diagnostics would be a 24 hour turn around. So Tuesday morning I called and they told me I had two leaks, one was in the shaft seal and one was in the discharge hose. I got a call later from them with the bad news that discharge hoses were on backorder and could take 3 MONTHS to get and the A/C wouldn't work without it! They claimed they searched everywhere for the part including after-market parts. I then called Arrowhead Honda and they had the part in stock and told me it would take 3 hours to replace the shaft seal and discharge hose and fill with Freon. So I called Bell Honda back to tell them I would take the car to Arrowhead Honda and they told me that they already filled it with Freon and the new shaft seal was due in on Wednesday and without the shaft seal the Freon would all leak out and they couldn't get paid on my extended warranty for the $300 worth of Freon unless they replaced the shaft seal. So then I was told that I couldn't get the car until Thursday afternoon. Of course they refused to provide me with a loaner. I called on Thursday and was told that they had good news for me. The discharge hose miraculously became available and they could do the whole job and have the car ready to go Friday afternoon. For what Arrowhead Honda quoted as a 3 hour job, Bell Honda had my car for 5 days! I was afraid to make a fuss for fear they would vandalize my car. They had it for 5 days for what Arrowhead Honda said was a 3 hour repair job. The mileage in on their paperwork was 37,568 and after I drove the car home the actual mileage was 37,421 so they just made up numbers! I thought the mileage when I brought it in was more like 35,000. I'm wondering if the reason they kept it for 5 days and made up lies about why it was taking so long is because someone was using my car. Also when I got the car back it was dirty. I commented on that and was told "we don't wash cars anymore". The car looked like it was either left out in the rain or was driven in the rain but there was no rain in Phoenix that week. A completely false statement from 90% of the staff we had an interaction with. We had purchased a vehicle on November the 6th-7th which was to be delivered, per the salesman, on November the 20th at the latest. We had worked out a deal and signed all the paper work, however, as the 20th arrived total lack of communication began to occur. Unfortunately, no one reached out to us until November the 24th regarding the vehicle not arriving, we had to call to attempt to get any information on where the vehicle was at, when it was arriving, as well as when we can pick it up. The salesmen we were dealing with was Rueben, who seemed to be very new and lacked all communications skills necessary to effectively defuse any situation that occurred. He also Gaslit my girlfriend on a phone call, alluding to the fact the information he previously stated was ever said. And we had no idea what we were talking about saying the car would just arrive "eventually" When calling after thanksgiving to see if my car arrived over Black Friday weekend, I was hung up on, ignored, and told again "the car would arrive eventually and it is out of our control" As a first time buyer my girlfriend believes this was the most horrendous, atrocious, and mentally exhausting process. She has stated she doesn't even want the car anymore, she is afraid of the car buying process headed forward, as well as will no longer do business with Bell Honda. They overcharged me when I made my down payment, sold me a car with an active recall without telling me, told me I was signing a 36-month term when it was really a 56-month term, didn't install the security system until after I had been paying for it for a month, the car was dirty when I picked it up, and they DO NOT stop calling you. I made an appointment to install the security system at 7:30 AM. The dealership called me at 7:25AM to cancel. I really just hate this place lol. It's comical at this point. I'm cool with it, bout to give him my card to put a deposit down. the dealer calls and says with tax it like 62k I'm like huh? i told them there's no way its 8k in taxes. there like will call you back, come to find out there's some extras on the Honda pilot that the dealer try's to sell people like roof rails,zantek ultimate, window&clear bra appearance package, protection package, bunch of stuff that nobody wants. So im like take it off, i don't want it and they didn't make me aware of it in the 1st place. My wife asked me to look into trading her car in for something new, so I set up the scheduled maintenance today on her car to kill two birds.... Anyway, I'm wearing sweats, a t-shirt, sneakers, a stocking cap mostly covering my long hair. I drop her car off at service and walk over to look at new cars. A salesman sees me and asks how I'm doing, I said "fine, I'm here to look at new cars" and he sizes me up and tells me that he's "busy, so go inside and a salesman will help me." I go inside and stand there, and stand there, and stand there. Most of the salesman totally ignored me but a couple that walked by asks me if they can help me but as soon as I tell them I'm looking for a new car they say they're busy and off they go. 2 of the guys walked out to the lot and stood there BS'ing, with no customers around, and they knew I could see them standing there through the glass. 20 minutes of that nonsense, and I finally walked out. You shouldn't judge customers by what a person looks like or the clothes that they wear. This could have been an easy sale. read more

If you rated higher than one star you've obviously never met their current "new car manager." The term "don't poke an angry bear" was coined from such experiences. I had pleasure of a conversation with a sales person on the phone a few days ago. My wife had found an ad their website for a $100 / month lease and gave them a ring. I then explained to her that $100 price doesn't reflect the extra fees, taxes, delivery, etc. The true cost is more like $4000 at signing and closer to 150-200 per month; if you've got perfect credit. A couple days later I got another call, I can't remember his name. I explained to the salesman that I was not interested. I don't want to spend any money out of pocket and don't want to spend more than $100 per month. Knowing full well that would likely never happen, I expected him to leave it at that. His reply "We have all sorts of incentives, I'm sure we can work out some numbers and get close to that price." Surprised to hear it, I explained to him "I don't want to waste my time coming out". We setup an appointment and I said I was expecting him to work out numbers that meet my request. He said "I understand your time is valuable, you don't need to worry. We will have options for you to choose, we'll even pay you for your time with a $25 gift card." Today, I arrived expecting to see a new civic, then talk about numbers in the ballpark of their $100 advertised price. I asked the sales person before even looking at the car. "Can you come close to the price? I'm not interested looking at the car otherwise" I don't want to waste his time and mine. He stated "I don't work the numbers, I just want to be sure you know about the car and all its features." A sales pitch, a test drive, and 1.5 hrs later, the sales rep showed me offers in the 500, 400, 300, and 250 per month with down payments in the 4, 5, and $6000 range. I asked for the keys to my vehicle back, nicely said I was insulted by the offers and upset. It wasn't him, it was the guy who convinced me to come in today. He proceeded to talk more pricing and I retorted by ripping the offer in half and saying I'd like my keys back, this is insulting. He asked if he could try to make the numbers work out, fudged around with his pen which was out of ink for a good 10 minutes. My wife offered find him another pen, "no, I'll make this one work." he said. I told him I didn't want to run my credit, for the moment lets assume my credit is near 700, if the numbers work, we'll agree to a credit check. He took the offer to management and then the manager came out. The manager sat and said sternly to my wife "which one of you ripped the paper in my salespersons face? Was it you or him?" I exclaimed, I ripped the paper and you can please give me my keys because I am leaving. He responded with, "just a few minutes we can work this out, if you would just let me run your credit..." I stood up, insisted on my keys, said he was "rude and insulting to me, I would like to just leave." His reply was "you were the one insulting my sales person by ripping the paper." I said again "I would like to leave. This is me being considerate right now by asking for my keys and leaving. Arguing with me is only rude, insulting and pissing me off. Give me my keys, I'm leaving." He still tried to argue that I was unreasonable and should let him run my credit and some other B.S. At this point someone got my keys, but the manager insisted on getting super defensive over how insulting I was to his sales rep instead of letting me walk out the door peacefully. The manager proceeded to talk, argue, and insult me further. I sternly insisted he leave me alone and let me leave. He then explained that he needs to escort me off the property, and I told him there was no need, I'm already leaving. I attempted to walk to my car, and he insisted on following, telling me again how rude I was and at one point said "leave my property and never return, we don't want your business." I insisted on talking with his manager, he said "I am the manager". I'm basically over the top at this point, I really wanted to just cuss the guy out for being such a bleep faced bleep hat, but I kept myself to choice non expletive words. He continued to follow insisting on me leaving the premise (as I was already walking to my car). I really wanted to chew his bleeping head off, but before blowing a fuse, I was able get the heck into my car and GTFO. Never have I been so insulted, no it wasn't the sales person's fault, it was the dude who got me in under the guise of $100 per month. Guaranteed, I will "leave and never return." Your "new car manager" needs a serious lesson in calm, collected, customer service. Not that I was perfect, but... Don't tell an upset person to calm down, don't sternly tell a guys wife they insulted you, and don't tell someone to leave and never come back when they're already leaving your flipping property. I purchased the vehicle on Saturday 2/26/21. I received a call to come back to the office and resign the paperwork. On the the 26th I requested to keep my same license plate number and was assured this would happen. Today in the mail a new license plate was sent contrary to what I ordered. I have been using Bell Honda since 2016 and have been disappointed again. With all the Honda dealers in the valley there has to be a better dealer than Bell Honda. I will not use bell Honda for any vehicle in the future. The general manager Luis Becerra because he did not like this review. He called my house and spoke to my wife and said not to call this number and we were low life's and he was not professional. He also stated that he was putting my file in the trash were it belongs. But I saw a few of the bad reviews on here, and I am just not sure where these came from. I wanted to share a little about my experience to help my neighbors who might be trying to choose between Honda lots in the valley. I have bought two Hondas from Bell, and this past experience was top notch. They have definitely fine-tuned the operations and approach at this location. The customer service at this place is stellar ... from the minute you walk on the lot until you are driving off in the car you wanted. My salesman was Joey and he is excellent at what he does. He was young and hip, yet still so professional, experienced, and knowledgeable about the product. I did not feel like I was talking to a slimeball ... not the stereotypical car salesman, more like a college buddy or friendly neighbor. I felt very comfortable negotiating with him, and in the end I felt like we all got a pretty fair deal, and we were all smiling. I do want to note that during the process I had several members of management come up and offer assistance, answer questions, etc. The real magic happened in finance; even though it was a Saturday, they were able to seal the deal and get me some excellent final numbers. I signed papers with Jamie, and he is also a great representative of the brand. I think he said he gets paperwork (the dreaded part) done in record time so you don't feel like your whole Saturday is wasted just picking up a new car. I was actually done before the car was finished being detailed, and they got me an interest rate and payment that was significantly lower than I had before. If you get this far in the process, ask about getting "tier-bumped" (which means they bump your credit up to the next tier based on car payment history) and ask about smart-note financing (where they split the payment for you and a larger amount goes to principal). Needless to say, I will be back to this location next time I am looking for a change, and I will also be referring friends and family anytime I hear someone is looking. Went in to check out used cars with my wife because we needed to look a upgrading to a family vehicle, the car started at 7.1k and the sales manager promised a payment of 214 out the door after pulling our credit scores .Then to be thrown to an extremely rude gentleman at financing that pretty much told us "yeah I don't know why those sales guys up front would tell you that you would get approved for that but we will try it at a 13% interest rate through your credit union." We drive the van for a week not one call from any one only to later on find out that they never even contacted any credit unions like we had asked, they cranked our interest rate up to 28% for five years. He ran my credit and my score went down. He lied, then told me oh well it might go down 1 or 2 points after it already happen. The point is he lied to my face, what a Good way to drive away business. On Saturday October 9th my wife and I went in to look at a small used truck the dealership has published on Auto Trader. After negotiating with "Sales Manger - Rodrigo" he gave me a best and final price ($32k) that was $500 more than my maximum budget. Rodrigo was extremely nice and told my wife and I to sleep on it and if we changed our mind, to call him back. I responded via text the next day, Sunday October 10th and informed the dealership that I'm willing to pay the out the door price Rodrigo Quoted me the day before. My wife and I returned to the dealership on October 11th and dealt with Sales Manager - Will (in Rodrigo's absence) who told me that the price I was quoted Saturday never happened. Will brought out some notes that apparently Rodrigo entered into their system of record which outlined a price higher than what I was quoted. I asked that Will call Rodrigo to straighten out the discrepancy; a few minutes later another Sales Manager, Luis returned and stated that he spoke with Sales Manager Rodigo and claimed that I was never quoted $32K!!! I asked Luis if he's saying that I'm lying and to my face this dealership said that my wife and I are liars because the notes in their system said something different. Needless to say, after being called a liar, my wife and I left without the vehicle... It's a shame that buying a car has to be a nightmare! read more

I don't know about the rest of the crew, but Anthony in their service department was polite and helpful. I own a used 2002 Honda Odyssey well over 100k miles. Anthony went above and beyond the call of duty for me with making sure I understood the priority of different services I needed to get completed to keep it in good running order. I'm a teacher who has fallen on hard times financially (hence the very old used vehicle), Anthony helped with pricing so I could stay within the range of what I had available. Also, I was very grateful that Anthony respected the time frame I needed to be in&out of their service department despite having no appointment. I recommend Anthony at the Bell Honda Service Department. I hope he is working there a long time. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the young ladies working their front desk obviously hate their job or each other maybe? Could have done without the annoyed irritated attitude so early in the morning like that. Could understand if it was the end of the day...maybe a rough day. But 9:30am is too early to turn on customers. read more

It takes years to build relationships, only seconds to lose one. We will take our business elsewhere. As for the service department, it's been horrible since the new management took over.
