I don't use Yelp unless the business in question has earned five stars, and Bell Honda has done that for me. I'm pretty picky! But I saw a few of the bad reviews on here, and I am just not sure where these came from. I wanted to share a little about my experience to help my neighbors who might be trying to choose between Honda lots in the valley. I have bought two Hondas from Bell, and this past experience was top notch. They have definitely fine-tuned the operations and approach at this location. The customer service at this place is stellar ... from the minute you walk on the lot until you are driving off in the car you wanted. My salesman was Joey and he is excellent at what he does. He was young and hip, yet still so professional, experienced, and knowledgeable about the product. I did not feel like I was talking to a slimeball ... not the stereotypical car salesman, more like a college buddy or friendly neighbor. I felt very comfortable negotiating with him, and in the end I felt like we all got a pretty fair deal, and we were all smiling. I do want to note that during the process I had several members of management come up and offer assistance, answer questions, etc. The real magic happened in finance; even though it was a Saturday, they were able to seal the deal and get me some excellent final numbers. I signed papers with Jamie, and he is also a great representative of the brand. I think he said he gets paperwork (the dreaded part) done in record time so you don't feel like your whole Saturday is wasted just picking up a new car. I was actually done before the car was finished being detailed, and they got me an interest rate and payment that was significantly lower than I had before. If you get this far in the process, ask about getting "tier-bumped" (which means they bump your credit up to the next tier based on car payment history) and ask about smart-note financing (where they split the payment for you and a larger amount goes to principal). Needless to say, I will be back to this location next time I am looking for a change, and I will also be referring friends and family anytime I hear someone is looking. Me and my dad went in and were helped by our salesperson Trish. She did absolutely the best job ever with helping me get into a car as soon as possible since my car was pretty much done with . She was very helpful in answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable in my decision without being that typical pushy salesperson. Then once the transcation started we were also joined by Gaston Villegas ( Sales Manager ) , to help the transcation come along smoothly. Both of them were helpful, relatable and really tried to understand what we were looking for , we had a few back and forth moments , which is excpected with car buying, but in the end we were able to come to a agreement and a deal that worked best for myself and my Wife . I took my Honda there because my extended warranty company said they would waive the deductible. It's Phoenix, it's July, and my AC wasn't working. After 5 hrs of keeping my car, and me on hold for 20 minutes trying to find out when I could find out what was wrong, Ventura called to tell me I had "impact damage" from "road rocks" that had damaged my AC and because of the "collision" (I don't drive off road and my vehicle has NEVER been in an accident) my warranty would not cover the repairs. I did not choose to proceed with the $800 repair. Ventura told me that they didn't call it to my warranty company to get an official denial because it "was late" and he "knew" that they would deny it. He showed me place in my grill with small holes from the deadly road rocks. (I was suspicious as I had never heard of a Goliath like pebble taking out an air conditioner before). I took my car to Automotive Experts on Bell Rd and 26th St, and they called after an hour to tell me they couldn't duplicate the problem. My AC was blowing super cold, but the fan was turned all but off and the settings were off when I brought it in. NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY AC! As a Honda dealer, they should have seen this in my Honda. Between shops, I drove with my windows down in Phoenix in early monsoon season for a week. Bell Honda wins my prize for most dishonest car repair shop of 2021! Also, when I went shopping there a year ago, they showed me everything BUT the type of car I asked to test drive. read more

If you think car dealerships will squeeze every penny out of you, the management at Bell Honda will confirm it. I don't know about the rest of the crew, but Anthony in their service department was polite and helpful. I own a used 2002 Honda Odyssey well over 100k miles. Anthony went above and beyond the call of duty for me with making sure I understood the priority of different services I needed to get completed to keep it in good running order. I'm a teacher who has fallen on hard times financially (hence the very old used vehicle), Anthony helped with pricing so I could stay within the range of what I had available. Also, I was very grateful that Anthony respected the time frame I needed to be in&out of their service department despite having no appointment. I recommend Anthony at the Bell Honda Service Department. I hope he is working there a long time. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the young ladies working their front desk obviously hate their job or each other maybe? Could have done without the annoyed irritated attitude so early in the morning like that. Could understand if it was the end of the day...maybe a rough day. I came here looking for a car and i was met with unprofessional staff and a disingenuous sales person Forcing me to purchase This cleaning service called "zaktak" for $500! I questioned this add on multiple times and was met with an answer of "it can't be removed" and "everyone buys it". Later on another higher up employee came over and i questioned it to him and he said it CAN be taken off. At this point i have lost interest in working with this dealership due to their dishonest staff and pushy sales tactics. These guys will sell you a car that has issues and then charge you for it later. If you DO decide to buy a used vehicle from them, get it FULLY inspected first by a third party. If you don't catch it in time, say hello to costly repairs that they weren't obligated to tell you about. Oh, AND DOCUMENT EVERY interaction with them. Record the line. All that. Don't just take them at their word because it may just be "forgotten" later. Or you'll end up telling the wrong person, and then it's like you never said it. They knew I had concerns with my car from the get go and brushed it off. They lost me as a potential buyer in the future and at least one other person (now at two). I'm advising EVERYONE I know against going here. Oh, ANNNND I even offered to pay for the parts if they covered ALL labor. They refused this counteroffer. Update: It's required that I contact them in order to verify myself to review them on Carfax and Dealerrater.com and now they're DEFINITELY avoiding me. Says a lot, right? Especially since the GM scoffed at any potential negative reviews coming their way as if it won't affect them. It most certainly WILL hurt their bottom line, even if it only amounts to what they attempted to charge me for THEIR mistake. It'll be more though. It already is. I had one friend who saw how they treated me early on and said "screw that" and another just said the same thing based on the outcome of this particular issue. If they wanna avoid negative reviews (which they do) they wouldn't push overpriced used cars with bad parts. Please do NOT trust these parasi- I mean people. I did. Look where that got me. Update: while I maintain my position, the previous update contains assumptions and incomplete info/research on my part. My mistake. I was able to find a previous Carfax email that allowed me to review them and the other site doesn't require it (that was one of my assumptions). Regardless, they were actively avoiding my calls and my personal experience has been beyond frustrating. This isn't even the half of it. I still urge anyone reading this to approach with caution or avoid entirely. Don't fall for the smooth talking or false assurances/reassurances. In the end, your experience doesn't truly matter to them, especially if they didn't sell you a new or certified preowned Honda. Yeah, genius over here (me) decided to get into a 2020 Nissan with them, then allowed them to strip me of that, raise my payments, and put me in a 2015 Chrysler 200, which I accepted out of desperation because the market was super rough for buyers three months ago. Do the math and they certainly took advantage. Likely a "bait and switch" (which is illegal, and I wish I would've spoken to a lawyer early on). Again, proceed with caution. Research techniques and predatory practices used by salespeople and dealerships, know your rights and document EVERYTHING. I can't even give this place 1 Star! Bought a 2017 Nissan Altima 2 weeks ago. Spent 20g on it. Under 90k miles. Nice car, for about a week! Check engine light comes on. You drive it for 20 minutes and it basically stalls. We bring it in to have it looked at, and they want to charge us for it! Whatever happened to standing by something that you sell. And that was it. They didn't care that I said I wasn't going to pay. They basically said, ok, go ahead and leave. Then I find out the guy who sold it, Rock, is no longer there. Where do I start?! Well I had some wonderful service advisers in the past. Recently it's gone downhill. My last service in November, somehow the tech forgot to put my transmission cap back on according to 2 other places I took my car to after taking it to bell Honda last week. Bell Honda said "your transmission drain plug is missing & it's leaking you'll need a new plug and a flush" & quoted me around $280. I took it to 2 other places after that and those places both said "your transmission shows no sign of a leak" and that the place I took it to took me to the back and showed me my transmission cap wasn't even screwed on! It was just laying on the side of my transmission. So I was lied to by Bell Honda...sadly I don't think I'll be going back for any services unless it's a major service. They will try EVERY trick in the book to wear you down and settle for their horrible deals. But every-time I have been to the dealership I feel that their sales people and their managers are rude in negotiation making you feel that you are uneducated. Would recommend Showcase Honda (even though, they are owned by same parent company and also I didn't buy the car from them as well, but they are at least respectful and were putting some genuine effort in making a deal) Or I would highly recommend Temple Honda(I guess they are owned by Pensake and they are the best). The most deceitful, beguiling attempts to cheat a customer I've ever experienced in my life. The acquisition person was cunning, calculated but pathetically transparent.... Natalie was her name. . She pretended to be ditzy, stated she had ADHD then proceeded to have us test drive a Honda Sport Accord that she claimed was a 2023. In the corner of the car windshield was a freshly slapped on price tag of 39k. When I asked for the MSRP and the description of the car what I found in the glove compartment was a MSRP of 30k and the year 2022. I was shocked but not surprised as I was somewhat aware that the 2023s had not been delivered yet. Besides it was exactly the same car that I had brought in for trade - a 2019 Honda Sport with only 20300 miles. I had about 9k equity in the lease (KBB) which explained the slapped on sticker price. When I tried to talk to the sales manager he was rude and merely bothered by my discovery. He was as unprofessional as they come and completely aware of what had transpired. Please take heed of the 2+ star rating and avoid this dealership. They have long lost all sense if integrity, transparency and honesty. I have three Hondas..a Pilot, an Accord and a CRV all with leases about to expire. I have owned or leased Hondas for about 20 years. This is the second horrible experience that I have had at Bell Honda, stay away!! I purchased 2 cars there about 10 years ago and it took me 10 hours to complete the process, they would not let me leave. So shame on me for giving them a second chance. I leased a vehicle on Dec 29th and was told that if I left a good review on Honda's survey I would get all weather floor mats for free. I do want to say that Earl the sale associate was great during the lease process but then disappeared after and never returned my calls. 3 managers later and I still have not heard from anyone about the floor mats. This is all silly due to the fact that I am leasing the car! It is the point of customer service. By the way I talked to managers Krystal, Robert and Sonny and still have no resolution. Bought certified pre-owned 2 years ago. Just now had to change a tire cause I got a flat and there's no lock key in the car. They proceeded to tell me I must have misplaced it (I've never had to deal with tires since I bought the car until now) and that I need to call roadside assistance. So when my warrantee expires or I'm in the middle of nowhere I'm SOL. They also continue to call me weekly trying to get me in to buy a new car yet they can't seem to give me a wheel key. We walked onto the lot and were immediately taken to the office where the salesman quickly fled to retrieve a manger. After the manager comes out, he heads away and has us wait again. He returns to tell us that it is impossible to get an HRV in the price range we are looking for. He claims to have checked nearby states also. He then proceeds to try and sell us several other vehicles we are not interested in. He tries an Infinity then attempts to tell us a Hyundai Santa Fe is the same as an HRV and continues down this path. Problem is, we know better. If you don't mind being lied to and being pressured to buy vehicles you never inquired about, then by all means, pay these guys a visit. Big thanks to Adrian at Bell Honda. I went in for a test drive early in the week and told him I wasn't ready to buy anything and was in the early stages of shopping. He was super kind and easy going and didn't push me into anything at all. I test drove a CRV and loved it. Decided to go back that weekend to purchase, I went through Costco and Adrian was an assigned rep, so he was able to assist me with the sale. Again, super patient with me through my indecisiveness of color and model, and made the whole experience super easy. The only negative was the finance department. Although the gentleman helping me was very nice and personable, I felt very pressured to buy extras. At that point I was exhausted, as I had been in the dealership for over 4 hours, so I ended up agreeing to things I probably wouldn't have, had I had more energy. It's my fault, he was just doing his job, but there's definitely a wear-down tactic at work! This negative does not detract from the super positive experience I had with Adrian. Ask for Troy Pierce!! I came in just looking to see what my options would be as I was in no need to rush... well maybe a little bit because I needed better AC for the summer. I told Troy Pierce from the get go I wasn't going to buy today and he respected my wishes and def didn't over push but also still took the time to show me my options knowing that I was firm on not buying, he still spent over 2-3 hours answering questions and letting me view. At the end of the day I did end up buying a 2018 Honda Civic, Troy fought hard to get down the lowest rate for me. Respected me calling my father to see if it was a good rate and me being hesitant and just overall being patient. I feel like over all being in a customer service industry myself you have to be able to read people and with age you also know if someone is pushing you, ripping you off, using you and I felt nothing but a genuine person.
