I don't normally take my car to the dealership for service and they 100% reminded me why. A few weeks back I took my car in for an airbag recall. I dropped if off around 8am and they said it would be done around 11am. They didn't finish until 7:30pm and then tried to sell me on having additional work done! My air bag light has been coming on since then so I took it in yesterday morning and picked it up today. It took me over twenty minutes just to pick up my car and sign my name a few times, at least five of which I watched my guy chatting up a coworker. AND THEN THEY TRIED CHARGING ME FOR WORK THEY DIDN'T DO. Also, what they did didn't fix my problem and they quoted me like 1200 bucks to maybe fix it and 600 more if that doesn't work. Do I "want them to go ahead and take care of that?" Lol, um no! I'm sorry I have to give them a star. They don't deserve it. They place no value on my time whatsoever; I'm just another revenue stream to be milked. After two utterly miserable experiences in less than a month, I will never set foot in this place again. read more

I purchased a vehicle online for my daughter and the day before she was to pick it up they called to tell me someone sold it. They "claim" to have had a sold sign on it but it happened anyway. I asked for documentation confirming the sale. That took 4 days of me asking each day. As it turned out, they never ran my $5000 down payment (which they had for 10 days). After that, they said my check hadn't cleared yet. Why did that happen? They hadn't submitted it to the bank. People, it won't clear if you don't send it to the bank. I would like to point out that my salesman, Bryant Pelt was great but the manager, Roberto, was the one that dropped the ball. I bought my car from Bell Honda 4 years ago and they literally have not stopped harassing me about trading in my car, refinancing, etc. I have spoken with at least 5 people who said that my number was put on the 'do not call list'. This is OBVIOUSLY inaccurate. Have fun with the service department, they will try to make you spend an astronomical amount of money, and charge for service they did not complete....ie window washer fluid, windshield wiper change.... I 100% regret my decision to purchase a vehicle from them, and I cannot wait until the service package I paid for (which seems to not cover much) expires so I no longer have to 'deal' with this dealership. I've had 1-star experiences with other establishments before, but I dislike writing about my bad experiences. However, this establishment's automotive service has finally infuriated me enough to compel me to finally write my first-ever 1-star review after all these years with yelp. I've had it with being given a laundry list of extremely expensive repairs that are supposedly needed for my car, every time I come for simple scheduled maintenance, even for those that involve basically an oil change. I really should have paid attention to the other yelp reviews, as well as to the BBB rating for this establishment. I've finally decided to take my car elsewhere for service, and fortunately I've found a good one that does repairs only when necessary and lets me keep my arm and leg. read more

I bought a civic from these guys last year. It was a terrible experience. I agreed to a price that was advertised on the Internet with no money down. The sales manager still wanted money down when I got their. I gave him the a check for $500.00. Once I went to finalize the deal the finance guy wanted to sell me even more stuff. I told him that I only needed gap coverage. He was so pushy and rude I couldn't believe it. By the time I was finished I was so upset I couldn't enjoy my new car for weeks. I love Honda cars but dealerships like this kill it for the auto maker. Stay away from this place!!!! I only put a star because this app will not let me post without it. They don't deserve one star. I drove over to Bell Honda to check out the new Honda Insight because I was already in the area. The salesmen were a little pushy, but that's understandable considering the economic climate. What was not understandable was the extra charge Bell Honda placed on the Insights based on the fact that they are "new, popular models". It was $3,000 over the $20,000 retail price of the car... for a total of $23,000. ... UMMM, WHAT?! That's a 15% price increase for no good reason! Should Apple charge $100 over their retail price every time they release a new iPhone because it's new and popular? Should a restaurant charge extra for a dish because it was just added to the menu? Should Disneyland double the price of admission whenever they add a new attraction? I know Bell Honda isn't alone in this practice, but I've dealt with dealers that don't add an extra charge to popular cars. Toyota Carlsbad in California did not tack on an extra charge when Priuses were popular. Bottom line: don't deal with scummy dealerships that overcharge for their cars! read more

I purchased a used 2011 car here last September. It happened to be at a tent event at the Peoria Sports Complex. No complaints about the sales lady, she was friendly and low pressure. The price was good. My complaints are about various other aspects. The car itself had large stains on the back seat and front seat. Don't they detail used cars before putting them on the lot? They told us we could come back another day and they would clean it, so a few weeks later we drove out from east Mesa, but a machine to clean it wasn't working and even if it had been working it would've needed to be left over night. Also, during the sale, we inquired about getting the free car washes they offer with the purchase at one of their other many related Honda dealers across the valley closer to us, and they implied this shouldn't be a problem but when we asked again a couple weeks later they said we couldn't. I was looking forward to those washes, however driving an hour for them isn't feasible. The largest problem however, was something that happened when I was getting the car detailed (because of the interior stain that they had not removed). While the owner of the detailing shop himself was hand washing the car a sizable chunk of paint came off above the wheel well. The detailer said that there had been a beautiful paint match done, but that whoever had done it had not applied any primer and thus my paint continues to chip off at every car wash I go through. This leaves me to wonder if Bell Honda did this paint repair to throw it on the lot acceptable? I am not even sure if I can use the Zak-Tec paint protection they made me buy because of this paint issue that will cost me a decent amount of money to fix properly now. read more

The sales approach at Bel Honda lives up to the "grimy used-car salesman" cliche. Reading the comments below unfortunately resonates with the experience I had yesterday at Bel Honda. Instead of listening to you and what your financial needs are, they try and sell you cars they need to change out of their inventory. In short, even after I gave them my budget, credit score, and financials they looked at me like I was off MY rocker for not wanting to pay 2x more than what I had communicated. I wasn't looking for a new car, yet that is all that was pushed on me. Little to my surprise when the numbers were presented for the 2018 HRV, it was WAY beyond what I can commit to. I have been using Bell Honda since 2006 when I initially bought my Honda Civic Hybrid. I moved away for a little while but now that I'm back on this side of town I needed a new or used vehicle. Jason Teel went above and beyond to make it a timely process for me. I was in and out in less than 3 hours which quite frankly I didn't think was that bad. It was Stellar service Stellar performance and they were patient. They listened to my needs and they leased me a vehicle above and beyond my expectations. I was very clear what I needed and they accommodated those needs. Sure they tried the final couple of pitches but I respectfully declined. They did not push, they did not rush, they were respectful of my time and my situation. The worst place to buy a car, bought a car last year and I keep receiving calls asking me to trade it and get lower interest, they made me an offer over the phone went up there from Avondale, get there and of course I knew they were not going to honor the offer ok, I get a 25.00 gas card. I bought my car in September of 2014, the problems started there. I was treated respectfully at first which I know realize was a charade. After test driving I decided to buy my 2006 Honda Civic si, I will say I do love the car but it was not worth all of the problems I have had since then. I ended up paying double what the car is worth (they knew I was a first time buyer). Even though I payed for half of the car up front they still took the time to royally fuck me. With that being said, that was ultimately my fault for allowing them to do so... But here is where it gets nauseatingly aggravating. About two months in to owning the car my fourth gear synchromesh went out causing that gear to be rendered useless. At first I did what anybody would, I freaked out. But I thought this dealership that prides them self in customer service would definitely help me out, boy was I wrong. I took the car to the dealership and after talking to them they told me the best they could do was give me the "discounted, at cost price" of $1900. I initially thought the price must have been a good deal but after comparing prices I learned that I had once again been deceived. Not only that but after talking to multiple knowledgable sources, I learned that the dealership probably knew about the problem when they sold it. So I ignored the issue because I could not afford to fix it at the time. Fast forward to last month and the calls from the dealership are non-stop, every day I was receiving at least one sometimes more. Why were they calling you ask? Not to fix the issue with my existing car that I had just recently paid off but to put me in a new car. They swore up and down that they would give me the best deal possible, and ensure my satisfaction, but I declined. I refused to buy another car from them and made that known. The calls stopped... For about a week. On one of the last calls I received, I once again explained my situation to a woman in the sales department. She told me that the dealership was under new management now and that after hearing my story she would ensure that I was properly helped. After the call ended so she could "talk to her manager" I never received a call from her again, nor could I reach her when I called. Now fast forward to today and I receive yet another phone call from a random sales consultant named Luke. At this point when I received his call I was done with this dealership altogether, but I tried to remain polite and listen to him. He gave me the same shit about how he could put me in a new car today and they'd take my car off my hands, as if they were doing me a favor. I proceeded to give him an angry (but polite) rant about the shit-storm I had been through. He acted as if he cared... For a minute. But once he realized I wasn't going to buy a car he didn't politely end the conversation, no he hung up on me. A representative for a dealership that "prided themselves in customer service" hung up on me. So I was emailing with the online manager and she sent me some Pilots that i was interested in. I also had used truecar. When i went there, 2 sales guys wouldn't take me to the online manager and pushed me to work with them. I was there for hours with my puppy and hadn't eaten for many hours which was really bad since I'm diabetic and need to eat every 4 hours. One that was learning was Yusuf and don't know the guy that screwed me over. I told him that Truecar showed a deal over $2k off but he ignored me on that. He started negotiations by scratching all option charges out, then got down to me paying 39k for the car. He had me initial that paper. Then i was trying to get home since i was feeling horrible & had a world competition starting very early in the morning. He said we were almost done, then he brought the actual papers that had more charges, he said that was sales tax and license fees so i signed and bought the vehicle. After the competition ended at the end of the week, I reviewed the papers and saw there was a warranty fee on there. The separate document that said something about warranty or service and options he said that i was signing saying there were no other options in the deal, so they added the warranty in there without telling me. I then saw that the options charges were added in!!! I was deceived and they took advantage of my health and exhaustion!! I complained to customer service that called and they had me talk to a finance guy who i told him i wanted them to come get the car, i didn't want it. All he did was give me the number to cancel the warranty. They didn't even go over the car with me so i don't know how to set some things or what some buttons are!!  I really can't stand looking at the car!!! I told them i was going to write terrible reviews everywhere and they didn't care!!! I have had 3 other Hondas and many family and friends have bought Hondas because of me.  And this is how I get treated!!! So DO NOT go there!!! read more

Worst nightmare come true. Don't let them service your car. They will try to up sell you every time you go in for an oil change. They serviced my car and left the broken engine mount inside the motor and denied assisting me when I still had concerns of the noise. I brought it to a different Honda dealership and one of their advisors found it in 25 minutes. That dealership was appalled with the poor workmanship and called over to Bell Honda on my behalf. He asked a manager to contact me and I never heard a word. Nor would they return my calls. Folks this is the short version. My experience with this dealership was so terrible I doubt I will buy another Honda. The service advisors are friendly but the people working on your car are sub-standard. read more

I've purchased my last two cars from Bell Honda, but after an experience last year, I won't buy from here again. I had no intention of trading in my vehicle, but for six weeks, I continuously got calls from sales trying to convince me to trade in my car, they needed hybrids, etc. I explained to the salesperson that I had just refinanced my vehicle for much lower interest rate and that I would only consider a new vehicle if they could get me in at the same monthly payment and terms (I didn't want to add on to the length of my loan). He assured me that they could definitely work with me. I made it very clear that I was not interested in playing the car buying game, so when we finally decided to give in and go to the dealership, we told them just this, and we have them two hours, tops (it was a holiday). The salesperson I had been working with was with another customer, so I was given another salesperson who knew nothing about the civic hybrid (I knew more about the car). When we finally got around to the deal, I reiterated what I would pay and the terms. The sales guy went back to his boss, and I told my husband ,"I'll bet you a dollar that his boss returns to convince us to buy". Sure enough, he did, and when my husband told him "you lost me a dollar," he wasn't too happy and proceeded to tell me that they no longer do terms of less than 72 months. What?!?! Why didn't anyone bother to tell me that in the 6 weeks that you tried to get me to buy a car when I specifically told you I wouldn't finance for 72 months. read more

My 2018 HONDA Ridgeline has a recall for the fuel pump. There were reports of fires breaking out in these vehicles. Bell Honda calls me once about it. I return call to set up appointment. 3 weeks goes by. Crickets from them about scheduling an appointment. Most car dealers blow and these guys are no exception. read more

I traded in a car here when I was younger - they saw me coming from a mile away - the sales person sold me the car with dealer financing at 15% (did not have much credit). A few days later asked me to come back after they had my trade in and said that due to a paperwork problem they would need me to sign again, this time at 19%. I felt pressured to do so and didn't have anyone to turn to for help. I trusted they weren't trying to take advantage of me.. LOL. They taught me a great lesson. These days I don't bother with dealerships, nor financing, and have a lawyer on retainer for any large purchases. Do yourself a favor and buy a car outright off craigslist or buy a Tesla instead. I hope in the next 20 years this whole dealership (aka, "stealership") model collapses and these places go away completely. read more

Our sales associate Latifah was amazing, understood what we were looking for, was not pushy, very patient and went the extra mile to find us a great deal. The sales manager and financial manager however were very sheisty. Find a car you want and come prepared with blue book values, similar year/make/model/mileage values and be prepared to fight. Go higher up the chain if you'really given too much of a hastle. They will try and cut corners around everything to give you almost nothing for your trade in and boost the price for their vehicle above list price and Internet price... just come educated and you'll be fine. read more

Went in yesterday June 4th 2019 to get my Honda Civic Si worked on in the service dept. Brenden Dearie my service advisor was amazing as always. Customer service is impeccable and love that he welcomes my dogs with treats and a belly rub when were there. Confirmed the worked I was going to have done to make sure it was correct kept me up to date thru the process and went over everything one by one when it was done. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!! I bought a new 2011 Honda CR-Z in Oct, 2011, and have never had a good experience with their shady salespeople. Today I came in for my B-12 service and asked the service advisor to get me an appraisal/offer, as I'm always getting post cards from Bell Honda asking to buy my car. He asked me to walk to the showroom and speak to Austin. I feel I must warn people from attempting to purchase a vehicle from this place. My wife and I had the worst experience trying to buy a car here. No other car shopping experience in our lives ever compares in such a bad way. Attempted to make a deal the first time I went in there and no deal was made which is fine. No hard feelings. However this place constantly kept hounding me day in and day out for weeks after. Finally because we liked the initial sales person we gave them another shot after they promised all the incentives and great deals if We came back in. It was all a scam. They checked my credit which is exceptional and ignored it and offered me an APR for the bottom feeders and lied to me. They said all these things were included standard on the vehicle only to learn they are add on they said were mandatory. They are a crackpot organization. After I kindly said we were leaving the manager who gave us the bogus numbers came out and tried to reinitiate a deal. I told him I just wanted to leave and he told me I was being combative. I was merely waiting for my keys. No bad language no nothing, but apparently me, the customer, was the problem. Sorry I didn't want to pay a Lexus price for a Honda. I just wanted to go home and not waste any more time. Save yourself the insult and go elsewhere. They even told me it was ok to lose money on me because they would make more money on the next customer. Little did I know they thought I'd be the next customer. No chance. First time I ever had a bad experience shopping for a car in my life. Buying a house was easier. Take this review any way you want. And judging from the rest of the reviews here, I'm not alone. Fortunately I got a great deal from another dealer who was interested in a fair deal. p.s they hound you two or three times a day at least everyday until you agree to come back in. When I bought my used Accord with 36K miles, sales guy and I agreed on 60 months $345 per month price. The gentleman that came to close deal that evening after the sales person who sold the car pulled a contract that shows 66 months $345 which would include a extended warranty. I was offered extended warranty for 6 more $345 months on the loan. I said that I'm not interested and then another sales guy came in that offered 61 months $345 a month for the extended warranty. Deal seemed solid since it's not a bad idea to have extended warranty on used car. Here comes the shocker.... I agreed on 61 month $345 for my Accord Ex-L V6 used. He printed a new page that showed 61 months and I signed. Then he said he needs me to sign other pages and not to worry about it showing 66 months since first page covers the change to 61 months. We closed the deal and I asked for copies of the contract. He said he will have it ready when I pick up the car next day. The following day I came to pick up my beautiful Honda Accord EX-L V6 and the paperwork copies were still not there. I was told the gentleman that closed the loan was out of office and to give him a call (business card was provided). After two months and numerous calls I get my paperwork. To my surprise the loan that was filed was 66 months with Wells Fargo. The warranty that was supposed to be $345 more was $2000. The first page that showed 61 month $345 was nowhere to be found. I called Wells Fargo and they show 66 months no sign of that page with 61 months. I'm deeply concerned about about this and want to share my story. This is unlawful and unethical behavior that Bell Honda should be ashamed of. read more

I'm writing this post at 1:00am because I can't sleep due to how upset I am. I never write reviews but this was too much! There are snakes that work at this dealership! Please beware! I was recently hit by a kid with no insurance who was all cracked out, put my me in the hospital for a couple days, and my car was totaled. Leaving my family with one 2door vehicle and a two month old that doesn't fit in the car without my wife sitting plastered against the dash. We both have jobs so we are struggling every morning with dropping off everyone at the destinations. Wife at work, step daughter ant school and my 2 month old at day care. This was something that we had dealt with but it's been super stressful as we worked so hard to save up money for our first family car only to be taken away. So we finally get the approval from insurance and lean holder to seek out a new car be issue they are in the final stages of settling out the totaled car. This is where Bell Honda comes in to play promising the world and at first everything was great but we didn't want to jump at the first car we viewed. We did however decide to try for the 2012 used crv which at first they said they could get us where we wanted to be with the payments. Total time 3 hours! Got there at 6pm Left at 9pm Next day we go back and they say if we can't put down at least $1200 then it's going to be really hard to get us in that first choice. Fair enough. So they show a few more option baiting and tell us they can get is Ina similar crv but this one would be a lot easier on payment because of the vehicle price and mileage. Well the payment were still pretty high and my son and wife were hungry and we didn't have what we needed to finish that day so I made sure that when we came back the next day we would just go in an finalize the deal. Total time 4hours Day 3 As a precaution I call around mid day to make sure we are all set to sign and be in and out as fast as possible. They say YEP! We are all good see you 6:30. We get there and they have us sign all the paper work submit all our paycheck stubs references. Took about an hour and a half when they finally get to telling me the car I was supposed buy and take home that night has been sold earlier in the day and they made a mistake. Why wouldn't they tell me that from the beginning. They tried trick me again and showing me a different version which was lower mileage but beat up and had a lot of wear and tear. I know no one will read this but Bell Honda is the cliche slime ball Car dealership. I hope you met your quota bell Honda because in the end that's all they care about. Not all the bleeping time and money you took from me and my family. Now we are back to aware one! read more

Here's your way to get through this place. Use pre-negotiated USAA/ Amex/ Costco, etc price to purchase your vehicle. Ask for Conor Brennan, he's well behaved and honest. Expect to wait (and wait) for a while before finance, the dealership's bottleneck, can see you. If you opt out of extras and trimmings, decline to offer a reason why, as this is their grimy attempt attempt to up-sell you. The "sunscreen" is included in the price and even though you sign that it is "optional," it's not. Positives: 1. The sales rep was super cordial, picked me up in Tucson, allowed me to put 5000 on a credit card and took a personal check. He helped me get insurance on the way to the dealership. 2. The general manager said he would review the video and audio of the finance manager's misbehavior during closing. Negatives: 1. Finance guy was aggressive and would not take "no" for an answer. Asked questions like "Why don't you want to finance with us?" [really!] and "If these services were free, would you opt in?" 2.The MSRP quoted in my email is absolute nonsense, despite that I was satisfied with the out the door price. The MSRP is what it is and is published by Honda Auto, controlled for the features and handling costs. Period. 3. I'm not worried about my car's getting melanoma. Spare me the optional-mandatory "sunscreen." Impression: It's fine to buy from them if you so choose, but be prepared to enforce your boundaries and stick to what you came there to buy. read more

This place is a joke. No one sells cars like this anymore. Richard started off offering me $2,000 for my car as a trade in, and a payment of almost $600 a month for a used Honda Crossover. After many trips back and forth to "the manager" he ended up offering me $6,500 for my car and payments of $300. a month. Maybe this is the way it's done - this back and forth and haggling, but it made me very uncomfortable and I told the salesman right at the start that I didn't want to play that game, to come at me with his best offer right away. The experience honestly left me very amused - it was like a Saturday Night Live skit...so classically bad. If you go to this place, don't give them your car keys! I had to ask for mine four times before they would give them back. They will hold that sucker hostage and you'll be stuck inside with an overly aggressive salesman (or two) that want nothing more than to rip you off. Makes me wonder how many unfortunate customers took the first, or even second "deal" they were offered and left paying way too much for their cars. Ugh. And Richard et al. Stop calling me. read more

Avoid this dealership like the plague!! In my entire life I have never been treated with such disrespect and contempt by a car dealer. My wife and I have purchased three new Honda's in the last four years from Showcase Honda but they were sold out of the model my wife wanted (a base model CR-V, all they had were expensive ones) so I tried the internet sales thing through Edmunds.com and Bell Honda came back with the best price. So far so good, I had the internet price on the CR-V but now I wanted them to appraise my wifes trade-in 2013 Civic. So I called Mike Verville (sp?) in the Internet office and told him I was bringing in the Civic. I was explicit that ALL i wanted was their offer on my trade-in. When I arrive I tell Mike again in no uncertain terms that ALL I want is their appraisers offer. Mike hands me off to a kid named Angel. Nice kid. Pleasant. But seems like he hasn't been selling cars for long. So after an hour and a quarter the appraisal comes back and it's lower than I am willing to go so I shake Angels hand and tell him I will come back next year and we can try it again. He asks me to wait. I smile and agree. I know how the game is played and I'm willing to hang out a little longer if they want to negotiate. Sure enough, another guy who claims to be one of the "finance guys" comes over. I wish I had caught his name when he introduced himself but I missed it and didn't think it would matter anyway. But, here is where it all turned to shit. "Finance guy" lays out some new numbers in front of me. Well, not really new. The same numbers just rearranged with arrows and little drawings all over the sheet. And his attitude and tone pretty much make it clear that he thinks he is dealing with a yokel. Those numbers are no good I tell him. No hard feelings "finance guy", I'll come back some other time. I stand up to leave. he jumps up and says in a snotty tone, "Wait a minute, let me go run some numbers." He leaves for 15 minutes, comes back with another worksheet with all new numbers! Well, actually, the same numbers just rearranged again, but with some awesome little excel type diagrams. His attitude has degraded even further. Now he drips contempt and seems irritated by the fact that the idiot he is dealing with doesn't have the good sense to take the shitty deal he is offering, I have tried to politely leave twice now and I am beginning to get agitated. "Finance guy" starts talking again. He even got me a 0.9% loan rate. Oh joy! Never mind that if I take their offer I will be paying $26,000 for a $22,000 car. He keeps talking. He worked in the Scottsdale dealership and sold tons of cars. Neat-o! He used to work with engineers before getting into automotive. Awesome! He's really good with numbers. Really impressive! The whole time pointing to the place on the sheet where I should sign. Too bad though, we won't be making a deal today because they can't meet my price on the trade-in. I am past agitated, now I'm getting pissed. I stand up, stick my hand out, and with barely polite words tell him again that we won't be making a deal today. Then it hits me; I DIDN'T MAKE ANGEL BRING ME MY KEYS WHEN HE BROUGHT OVER THE APPRAISERS OFFER. Awww crap! I ask for my keys. Nope. Now "finance guy" is no longer making any pretense of being polite or professional. He thinks if he does the hard sell he can close the deal. Ha. Heated words are exchanged. I tell him we are done and walk out the back door (where they stage the cars under the ramada) telling him to get my keys and bring them to me. I will be in my car waiting. Suddenly the back door explodes open and he is standing there yelling (YELLING) at me; Finance Guy, yelling: "You mean you don't want to take this deal?" Me: "Get my keys!" Finance Guy: "l'm not getting your keys!" Me, spinning around, about 15 feet away from him: "What are you going to do hold me hostage until I buy a car from you?" Finance guy: "I'm not getting your keys." Me; "Get my keys now!" Finance Guy: "What are you going to do, hit me?" Me, approaching him; "No, but I will call the cops." Me, now we are nose to nose; "Get my keys." Finance guy says it again: "What are you going to do, hit me?" The insanity of what is happening hits me. The "finance guy" at Bell Honda is trying to goad me into a back alley brawl. I walk away again. Me: "Bring my keys out here now or I will have you arrested for theft." I go to my car, get in and wait. After a minute or two my door locks click. Apparently they didn't know I was already in the car and they attempted to lock me out of the vehicle. Finally, a couple minutes later Mike Verville brings my keys out. What happened he asks? Blood boiling and infuriated to a degree I never thought possible I take my keys from him and leave, Despicable, low-class, unprofessional scum of the earth does not even begin to describe Bell Honda. I've been a Bell Honda customer for almost 20 years, have purchased 9 vehicles from them and have always been treated well. Until now. My husband and I both purchased vehicles in December 2015 and while the process was simple, I'm beyond frustrated with how I've been treated since then. I was told I could apply for the refund on my trade-in registration, only to find out Bell Honda put a hold on it and transferred that money to my new vehicle without my knowledge. Not only was I not aware of this, neither were my salesman or my financier. I've spent two months trying to rectify this and get my $200 back only to get the runaround and a million broken "I'll call you back" promises. At this point, it's not the $200, it's the principle. 3/15/15 UPDATE: These people still haven't paid off our car we traded in, and won't return our calls. We've been getting phone calls from where we financed our previous car stating they have not received their check yet paying off the car. You'd think after they told us 2 weeks ago they'd send out the check via fed ex...clearly haven't done that yet. Just not sure what to do anymore. We're at a legit loss. Thank you bell Honda for screwing us financially. If anyone has a suggestion of what to do we'd appreciate it, we're lost. read more

Very disappointing service department. Brought my 2012 Civic in last May for an initial service and oil change/tire rotation. They forgot to return my wheel lock for the lugs. Oops. Went back - lost apparently. Oops. They also forgot to wash the car. 2nd incident - I Had my 20K service done there just 3 weeks ago - but this time they forgot to reset my automatic service notification - which started going off a few days ago. This honestly just feels like a slip-slop operation. Nice facility, but they are pricy and their service reps seem like amateurs - and the service people are absent minded. There are far better Honda repair facilities out there - from now on we will stick with Hon-Man in Tempe even though it is a drive for us. We have owned many Hondas over the years - but I would avoid this repair dept. read more

They broke my door panel while replacing seat belt tensioner. Besides that they could not solve SRS problem now for 2 weeks. Very unprofessional service. Will not recommend to my friends. Update: They finally resolved SRS light signal after 3rd visit. Technician guys are there complete nuts. They installed broken door panel replacement, but completely forgot to put back ALL of 3 backseat seat belt tensioners into their places. I had to open up backseat myself to pull up all sea belt tensioners back to its place. What a nuts!!! Never ever recommend their technicians to anybody. Will stay away from this place and go to other mom and pop repair shops since they care much more about their customer and are more thorough with their work. Absolutely 1 star place. read more

Where do I even begin? We were in a bind and had to get a car after ours broke down in Flagstaff. After giving them our budget, the salesman took us onto the back lot to show us a nice Honda Civic, only to stall us out for 45 minutes under the guise of "not being able to find the keys" Eventually they admitted that they couldn't even sell the car yet because they didn't have the pink slip. Whatever. We should have left at this point, but were in a bind, and they stalled us long enough to pull up a nice used low mileage car. We worked out pricing/trade value, and I thought we would be out the door within an hour and a half. Boy was I wrong. After waiting in the office for 2 hours, Heather finally found the time to talk to us, and gave us the 1.5 hour pitch on all the unneeded upgrades, wasting even more of our time, and would not take no for an answer, from either myself or my girlfriend. Once my girlfriend said no and explained why many times over, she had the nerve to ask "My I ask why?" CAUSE WE SAID SO!!! She also had a personal sob story for every one of the upgrades. I would suggest that Bell Honda should consider hiring smarter, more stable people that actually listen to their customers. After I got a bit heated, I left to cool off, and Heather brought in a male sales guy to double team my girlfriend on signing up for the upgrades. At this point, I lost it, and the sales guy had the nerve to ask "If my name is on the documents" I retorted "Is your name on the documents?" and let my girlfriend finish the deal. Heated, we left, glad it was over (or so we thought). When our car broke down, we were traveling cross country to take my girlfriend to school. The timing could not have been worse, and we explained this IN FULL DETAIL. We also told her that we would mail the pink slip back when we got to our final location. Days later, she was calling us and asking for the pink slip, and today, two weeks later, she is calling to tell us that the loan did not go through because my girlfriend is not currently employed, and we would potentially have to give the car back. We told this all to Heather, she did not listen, and thought she could bull her way through the loan and signing us up for a bunch of unneeded upgrades. It is amateur hour at Bell Honda, not sure what Heather learned at her little certification program she was bragging about, but it sure wasn't honesty or listening skills. read more

I would not even attempt to do business with this company. I simply called in about a current used CPO car listed on their website. To start, it has sold several days before and their online inventory was clearly not up to date. That happens frequently, not a big issue. SINCE calling them in the course of 2 days I have received 11 follow up calls from them. 3 in just the last hour. I have now explained to 3 different people I was only interested in that car, do not want to be contacted further they keep calling. Each person said they would add notes to the file to this effect, but the calls keep coming. NOT worth the hassle of even calling them about a car. I can't imagine how it would be if I actually bothered to go look at a car. read more
