Will not take my car here again. I went in to get an oil change on my 2005 Honda Element and when my car was ready 3 hours later my advisor was telling me how 2 of the motor mounts are cracked through and need to be immediately replaced. Since I did not belive them I took my car to Daves Car Care where they inspected my car. Turns out that there was not a single cracked motor mount. I will not be going back to Bell Honda since to me it seems that either their technicians are either poorly trained or they're scam artists. read more

So my original review I rated them low because of my bad experience with finance but I had a recent issue and Amanda, the customer service manager was very attentive. My battery died after 6 weeks of purchasing my car, and Amanda helped me get service that same day and replaced the battery with a brand new one. I test drove a car there last weekend. I told the sales person we might be back. I called him back a little later and told him we had another engagement we forgot about and that we would think about the car. In the past 3 days we've had over 20 calls from the dealership. Even after we called and spoke to a manager we continued to get calls. I won't do business with high pressure dealerships, so they've permanently lost a potential client with me. For the record, I don't mind getting a follow up call, 20+ calls however is excessive and unacceptable, especially after we asked them to stop calling. read more

Bought a used car here and was pressured by the bartering. Finally decided to buy the car which was the worst. Me and my family told them we just wanted to buy the car and the finance person insisted we get all these upgrades and spend more. Every question I asked they spun into a we have an upgrade for that and wasted my time. Plus, since my parents were fobs, I could tell they were trying to target them to buy the things because they probably wouldn't know better and were the ones buying it for me. Surprise, my fob parents are cheap af so gtfo. Finally we all said no and he gets up to go get his manager to try to close the deal for these upgrades. Seriously? I wanted to tell both of them that this was pretty pathetic after the closer made us act like idiots for not paying extra for the warranty and stuff. I get you have a quota but don't kill the customer because we're not inclined to help you satisfy your salary. The only reason I give 2 stars is the people you work with in the beginning are ok and are more humane. I have been disappointed way to many times at this location and I feel so bad writing this review but people need to know. First, I leased my car in April and we settled so that I pay extra for more miles. Archie the person responsible agreed with us for coverage and extra miles. A few weeks later I find out the paperwork was not filed at all and when I went back to sign again they had changed the mileage amount without giving me a lower price. I adamantly asked for a refund. Everything was ok. I went for an oil change, the lady told me the first one is free. I paid extra for free oil changes so I was surprised as to why only the first one. Robby F was the person who told me I have free oil changes as well. Robby helped me get a new tire, telling me that " the good thing about buying a tire with us is that with that coverage you can cover every tire". I call today to found out of course that's not true. I was treated VERY BADLY, twice! I spoke to an AfricanAmerican gentleman (not that that matters) in "Fleet" sales and after 1 hour of haggling, I told him I could find the Civic for cheaper. I did buy it elsewhere for $2K cheaper. 2 days later he goes out of his way to call me and haggle me some more. He then became angry and called me a liar about the price on the car I bought elsewhere! Its like they don't want my business at all! Several years later, shopping for a car, I walked in to look @ a car that I was seriously contemplating on buying. But it had unmatched tires that were very worn with a higher-than-nearby price. After not even bothering to work with me on the price or answer detailed questions, I was willing to pay what the dealer offered (I really liked the car). But the Manager wouldn't even replace/exchange the terrible tires and was very short and angry I even asked! It seems they are NOT VERY INVITING OR NICE people to deal with. We took it home, and 2 days later we got a call saying THEY screwed up. They said that oops, I guess we should of checked to see if you qualified! They found another car for me, but it got even worse! I asked multiple times if the car had ever been in an accident, and 3 people assured me it hadn't been, but I found out about 3 months ago, that it had! Since it was in an accident, the value went down, and now we are stuck with a car that is depreciating at a fairly high speed. After we found all of this out we told them to NEVER contact us again. They totally ignored what we said and they call either myself or my husband 2-3 times a week! I am quite honestly feeling very harassed. Horrific experience. My husband and I had been doing research for months on true car and auto trader for the perfect car. Honda made the list and I was excited they were advertising fair prices. As soon as we actually sat down with someone it was a nightmare. Cars were stickered WAY above advertising and we were treated like trash for trying to negotiate to the ADVERTISED (of course I know dealerships want you to pay for paint protection and other nonsense, I'm referring to the price of the car alone) price. The sales rep even had the audacity to exclaim "what did you want to pay $5k, $6k!?" As though we had no business to give them. Needless to say we bought a brand new Hyundai accent later that day. I went in last night to test drive a 2016 Honda Civic. My sales person was Joshua Snyder and he was awesome. He did a thorough walk-around of the car which was really helpful and informative. He was very honest and upfront as well. Even though we did not finalize a deal, he remained positive and helpful to end. I went to another dealership-which I will not name but they nearly held my keys hostage and the finance guy was beyond rude. I am very happy with the assistance Bell Honda provided with getting the 2016 Pilot Touring Edition in the colors I wanted in an expediant fashion. Other dealerships said it would take months to get this car in with the specs I wanted, but Bell Honda was able to transfer the car in under a week. They are also a part of the USAA buying program which saved us money on the price of the car as well as a reduction in interest rate if financed through USAA. Final paperwork was done quickly and with no hassle. I would definitely go back to Bell Honda again and recommend them to others!!! After reading some of the negative reviews, I have a simple piece of advice... Whenever buying a large ticket item like a car or house, its always better to have your financing pre-arranged ahead of time with a different company than the company selling you the car. If your credit score is sketchy, that may not be possible. But, you can't blame the car company for that. They are primarily in the business of 'selling' cars, not 'financing' cars. Car companies do offer financing, but its not their main business. You cannot expect the best rate unless you get outside financing. And, if your credit score is low, maybe you should downsize on the car you drive, get some money in the bank, and then buy a better car when you can really afford it. This is not meant to be codescending. In my early 20s, I had bad credit and a high interest rate on my first new car, but it wasn't the car company's fault. It was mine. So, I learned to live below my means, saved lots of money, and sure enough, by the time I was 30, I had a high credit score and reaped the rewards of low interest rates. Using that same mindset, my husband and I got to the point where we could buy all of our cars outright with cash (no financing necessary). Its a process, but one that is valuable to learn...always live below your means, save, and you will sleep easy at night. :-) read more

Automobile purchases are difficult for the consumer for many reasons. From finding the Car/SUV you want to finding looking for the best savings and lowest costs. It can cause anxiety and nervousness not knowing how you will be treated when you arrive, what the cost of the vehicle you want is, the financing "Hassle". Broken down is my list. 1 - Showroom setup *Very bright and clean kept 2 - Reception *Very attentive and pleaseant 3 - Salesman *I had the distinct pleasure to have worked with Brent. He was very personable and easy going. Brent was EXTREMELY knowledgeable with the features of the vehicle of our choice. I will be asking for him when I go back for my next purchase. KUDOS to Brent. 4 - Finance *I do not recall our finance person's name. That said, he was very straight-forward with all of the information that he had. I detected no "BS" from him. He worked with us to get our payment into the range we asked. He was very personable and friendly. 5 - Service Center *Picked up a nail a week into the SUV. Called dealership and they had Honda roadside assistance out to the SUV and within an hour the tire was changed. We drove it to the service center where they plugged the tire. They were friendly and easy to talk to. I would say that I had a very pleasant interaction with the dealership and will return at the time I am ready to upgrade my 2nd car. The worst car wash, every time. They ALWAYS leave water marks (large ones), big streaks, smudged mirrors, they usually omit even cleaning rear view mirrors, and they never clean the interior unless u ask. My grill never gets any attention here and they also pay no attention to the tires or rims. This car wash is equivalent to a 5 year old cleaning my car, actually the child might do better. So, in browsing Yelp, I see Bell Honda come up...and I'm here to tell everybody: I've had dealings with them on 4 occasions...and three have all been absolutely horrible, miserable experiences. I won't write a novel, but I'll try to give enough details to make sure you understand that these weren't isolated instances. In 2006, I went in to shop for a minivan. I was shown several vans on the lot, then taken to Bell Acura by the salesperson, as both locations are owned by the same person; at the Acura dealership, I found the perfect van. I was brought back to Bell Honda and told the van would be coming soon. In the meantime, we started the paperwork and when they tried to sell the extended warranty, I was told that the Odyssey wasn't covered under the Honda Certified Used Cars warranty, because it wasn't being sold by a Honda dealership. Now, I'm not going to get into the ridiculousness of that statement, as there are so many problems with that statement...but, in the end, I had to pay $500 to get the van "certified". Later, I was in the market for a Ridgeline and went into Bell Honda to shop around. Had a good experience with a salesperson, but unfortunately, the numbers weren't right for me to buy at that time; the salesperson took my info and told me if another Ridgeline came in that fit my criteria, he'd call me. About 2 months later, I got a call from a different salesperson there, telling me they had a Ridgeline that fit my criteria. Bear in mind, my criteria were VERY specific, on both $ down and $ per month. I went in and was taken to the brand new Ridgelines...that I knew I couldn't afford. Dealt with the usual sales pitches as I'm asking the salesperson, repeatedly, "Are you sure you can get this to me within the guidelines I set?" Repeated answer: "Yes". In the end, they brought me in for signing paperwork and...in both aspects, it was going to cost twice as much as what I laid out. From that point forward, it became a comedy of errors as the sales manager asked me, point blank, why I was wasting their time, and why did I come in if I knew I couldn't afford the car. It was the most ridiculous experience in my life...especially when they lost MY car and left me stranded in their showroom for an hour. About a year ago, I received a letter from Honda, notifying me of a problem with the power steering on these Odysseys; it wasn't a recall, per se, but we were told that they were extending the warranty on them and that we should go into our closest Honda dealership for replacement. We'd been having the issue with the power steering, so it made total sense to have it replaced, and I had my wife take the van in to our closest dealership...Bell Honda. She got there, showed the letter, told them about the power steering problem (low RPMs, the wheel was really hard to turn), and left. They called her later and told her to come on in, it was all done, and when she arrived (dropped off by a friend), she was told that the problem wasn't covered by warranty, as it was caused by a leaky power steering pump, and that she had to pay almost $500 in order to get the van back. This is a summer day...with two small children...she gave them a credit card and got the van back. From there, I got involved, and had the same Bell Honda experience I've learned is their standard operating procedure. I went in and was told that she brought the van in complaining about a leaky power steering pump (because, of course, everybody brings in a service bulletin letter when they want something repaired completely unrelated to it) and after I got REALLY pushy, I was told to bring in the van that Saturday and the service writer and his manager would take a look, determine if the power steering pump should be covered (of course, their "fix" didn't do anything about the low RPM issues), and they would discuss reimbursing us. I came in on Saturday and...the service writer wasn't there, and the manager had no idea what I was talking about. It took me almost an entire year of dealing with Honda customer service to get reimbursed our $500 and get the power steering replaced under warranty (at Arrowhead Honda, who've been pretty good to us). Word of warning: fear Bell Honda. They will do anything, ANYTHING to make an extra buck. read more

I took my CR-V here last week and was told that it would cost over $350.00 to repair the hoses to my windshield washers. They seemed to have been chewed by a desert rodent. When I said that was ridiculous the service person put on a very cold shoulder towards me and tried to explain why this would be the cost. I said no AGAIN and asked for my car. He said it would be right out. A half hour later I asked again for my car and it finally was brought to me. I was under the impression that I could trust them. I guess not. A friend repaired my hoses for under $1.00. No thank you, Bell Honda. I tried giving this "no stars" but it won't work that way. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had. The service team had my car for over a month, then when I went to pick up my car, I found my gas tank was flashing empty. Not only was there trash and dirty rags that were left in my car, but there were black smudge marks on the interior. I was given the run around for dates that my car was supposed to be fixed 5 times! In addition, they lied to me and said they would cover the cost of the rental while they had my car for a month. They did not and stuck me with the bill!! Sketchy at best. The price on that car was about $24k when they brought me their first set of numbers they tried showing me their selling price of about $31k at 72 month term and $5000 down my payment would be about $800!!!!!!!!! I had: good cop, bad cop; making up numbers out of thin air; hide the keys to your trade so you can't leave; some very unprofessional guy came out of the sales office and even tried to tell us that our sales guy quit because i was being too difficult - pretty sure that was a lie but if it wasn't i wouldn't blame the guy; a third guy chased me out as we were leaving to 'save' the sale and started making up numbers that made no sense. The star ratings and reviews speak for themselves. I wish I would have come to Yelp before making the trip out there. These guys are a joke and an embarrassment to Honda. If I wanted to sell it I wouldn't repair it. But nobody listens at this dealer ship as we have gone round about this for 7 years. Your service department is the only reason I have used you because of convince. But that will soon come to and end. It won't matter much to the dealer ship to lose a service customer. Took my car in because the hub caps were making a very annoying squealing sound and my tire light was on, the advisor Trish came out and questioned me about when I replaced the hub caps because they didn't look like the ones Honda provides. (I bought a 2019 Honda Civic about a month ago from bell Honda) she had no idea it was a 2019 and almost didn't believe me that I haven't replaced them(who replaces hub caps??) fast forward to when she says the cars done and is being pull around they told me that the tire light was recalibrated and that there's nothing they could do about the hub caps and to just deal with it until it gets louder. This was on a Thursday, I didn't leave anywhere Friday and while out with my friend MY TIRE LIGHT COMES BACK ON. So I take it to discount and they Actually looked my tire and told me I have a nail. Don't waste your time at Bell Honda! I was given a price quote for a 2014 Accord Hybrid and the sales price was verified by the salesman's manager (all over the phone). They attempted to pressure me to come down right away to get this "deal". I asked for them to provide me with the price in writing via an email. After multiple calls to them, I finally got the quote. It was $3500 higher than what was initially quoted! The manager then tried to get me to drive the 45 min. (Each way) to get a $25 gift card from them! I purchased that car at another dealer that same night (very close to the price I was initially quoted by Bell). Not everyone will fall for their tactics!. read more

To make a long story short, Bell Honda failed repeatedly to deliver on multiple promises and services we paid for in advance during our recent certified pre-owned Honda Civic purchase. Whether this was due to incompetence, extreme disorganization, or flat out dishonesty is hard to say, though my husband and I both feel we were dealt with dishonestly by this dealership. A short version of how they mishandled our purchase: 1) They did not deliver the vehicle by the day we needed it for a new commute (the day they promised before we signed papers) despite repeated follow-up calls to get progress, and repeated promises on their part to get it to us in time. With each phone call we were giving different reasons why work hadn't been done yet and conflicting accounts of progress made. 2) A sales rep lied to us about the compensation he could offer to 'make this right' for us, setting us up for further disappointment and frustration. 3) When the vehicle was finally delivered, it had not been properly detailed inside (something we'd paid for as part of certification). Seats had not been shampooed; cup holders had sand and dead bugs in them; windows and other interior parts were smeared and dirty; dash was dusty with adhesive glue stuck to inside. 4) Upon dropping the car off to be properly detailed, we tried to find out of a protective coating had been applied to car as per our purchase agreement, because there was no documentation that it had. We were told it was 'in the system' and given a duplicate copy of our purchase order (showing we'd paid for it, not that work was done), alleging it was done, but follow-up texts with sales rep revealed it had never been done at all. We had to bring the car in yet again to get the coating applied. No one seemed to care that we'd already paid for it. 5) When car was delivered from second attempt at detailing it, it still looked pretty rough inside, though seats had vacuum marks. Still not sure what was done at this point. Dead bug was gone from cup holder, but there was still sand, dust, glue, etc. 6) After finally getting the car back from the second time we brought it back, we got a call from the collision department saying they had just received a work order to shampoo the car's seats and do a full in/out detail on the car, and when would we like to schedule that? This makes us wonder once again if the car was ever actually detailed or if someone just took it to the gas station, vacuumed it (maybe?), and gave it back to us, alleging it had been shampooed, etc. MIND, WE PAID FOR A PROPER DETAIL to be completed BEFORE DELIVERY of the vehicle. 7) We have requested and were repeatedly promised documentation on and operating manuals for an upgraded alarm system they had tricked us into paying for. It would be e-mailed to us, it would be dropped off with the vehicle, etc etc. We have yet to receive anything explaining the operation of these alarms, nor did we receive any manual for the car itself. So, we're not happy with Bell Honda at all and have zero confidence in their competence and integrity. We inquired about reversing the sale simply because we couldn't believe how badly they handled our needs and how shady they seemed; but of course they have our money and thus have us over a barrel, and we cannot. DON'T BUY HERE!!! By the way, if you ignore this and do buy there, be aware that they will present costs for this Zaktek protective coating and upgraded alarm systems as if they are part of the dealer certification costs, but they are NOT. They are optional, but they don't tell you that until you've already agreed to the deal and are back signing a pile of paperwork (incidentally, AFTER they've already cleared your down payment). This too seems dishonest. Don't pay for these things! The alarms are probably already installed on your car, and they are just getting paid multiple times for them. Or, save time/money/anger management therapy and SHOP ELSEWHERE!!! read more
