I would not recommend this dry cleaner. I dropped off my coat in good condition, and when I picked it up, it came back damaged with scraped spots on the front and sleeve. i don't care what anyone on this app says. this owner is so nice. she is fair, and she went out of her way to give me a special offer based on the unique circumstances. when i picked up my item, she was so friendly and honest with me, and i could tell she worked hard on my alteration and cared about the quality of her work. i think that is REALLY important in the work climate nowadays where many people just do the bare minimum to get the paycheck. i trust this woman with every alteration i have in the future. also bonus that she's korean, if any fellow koreans on here want to support korean businesses! read more

They completely messed up my work uniform. I brought it in to get patches sewn on it. Took them a week to do and cost $44. The stitching was erratic and sloppy. On the inside there were strings going everywhere. It was a total mess. When I put my arm into the sleeve it catches the strings that are just everywhere. I could have done a better job at it, and I don't even know how to sew. On one of the patches they barely got the whole thing on. It'll likely break off really quickly because it is such poor work. I'm going to have to take this elsewhere to take care of and get fixed. Never sending any of my students there again nor am I going there again. read more

***Update 5/24/15*** I haven't been back to this dry cleaners for many, many years, ever since the curtain hemming debacle of yore (see my initial review). However, recently I purchased some button-down tops that needed a snap sewed in between two buttons on the chest area where the material buckles. Another reputable tailor quoted me a price of $14 and change to sew in a snap between two buttons - on each shirt! (One shirt cost $11, so it would be ludicrous to spend more on a snap for that blouse than the entire shirt!). Anyhow, the two ladies here took the one shirt I brought it, showed me a lightweight white plastic snap, sewed it on the shirt on the spot wile I waited, and charged me $5 even for the job. zero stars isn't available. This was the first time I tried them out for a service- alteration, i had a duvet cover that the seam opened next to the zip and the zip head fell off. I took it in and the gentleman told me 18$ which i agreed, when i picked it up the zipper head was applied on the inside of the duvet cover and the seamstress insisted that for this zip thats the right way on. and they did not fix any of the surrounding seam so i had to come back home and hem that together myself. Now i am seriously struggling to open and close the duvet cover with the zipper on the inside and I feel i'm worse off than when i started and 18$ out. Never again! read more

I have been a customer here for years but after my experience tonight will be taking my dry cleaning elsewhere. Customer service and friendliness has never been their strong point but I have continued to use them due to convenience of their location. However after the way I was treated tonight will not be going back. I dropped off clothes on Tue before Thanksgiving and stated that I needed them for the Holiday. The owner told me no problem as they offer one day service and would be ready the next day,Wed,by 5pm. I asked how late they would be open since it was the eve before Thanksgiving. He ensured me that they would be staying open until their regular time of 7 pm. I came the next night at 6:30 PM after work to pick up my clothes and was very disappointed to see that they had closed early despite telling me they would stay open. Tonight when I went to pick my clothes up the owner was once again there. I stated to him in a friendly manner that they had let me down by closing early Wednesday after informing me they would be open until seven and that I did not have the clothes that I wanted for the Thanksgiving holiday. He said absolutely nothing to me in return and just proceeded to go get my clothes. He charged me the full amount without saying a word and I paid him in full. I was not expecting a discount, although that would have been a great service recovery gesture, but could not believe he did not even apologize or say a word to me. As I was leaving I told him a simple apology would have been much appreciated. All he said back in response was "we put a sign on the door Wed that we were closing early". A lot of good that did me as I was going off his word from the previous day and not there to see a sign until too late. I am honestly sad I needed to write this and I am not one to write reviews. Bella Cleaners if you happen to see this I hope you consider a simple apology to others in the future. An apology and a simple "Hello" and "Have a good day" can go a long way with customers. A simple apology from you tonight would have prevented me from having to write this and you losing a customer of so many years. read more

I should have read the Yelp reviews first and checked my receipts. I went here a few times with several shirts after being quoted $2 a shirt on my first visit. The first time it was $2 a shirt, so I returned 3 more times. The 4th time I dropped just 1 shirt, picked it up and was charged 3x's the amount. After questioning the amount I was informed that it was a different shirt and doing just one cost the same as 3! Worst place for dry-cleaning. They charge extremely randomly, suits cost 16$ for dry cleaning and a simple cotton jacket costs 18$, because it's "POLO". Worst example of profiling; their license should be scrapped for pricing by customer / brand. They were extremely rude when I inquired about the rationale behind such differential pricing and started shouting. To make things worse, when we got the jacket back, the small mark (which prompted us to go the dry cleaners in the first place), was still present. When asked for a bill they asked me to come back in the evening and started shouting again. Long-term customer at this location and I am now going elsewhere. My shirts that are normally $2 were $8 EACH today. I originally became loyal to this dry cleaner because shirts and dry cleaning were usually returned without issues and on-time which is really what I want. I didn't mind paying a little extra for this. Today when I picked up my 5 shirts, on hanger, I was asked for $42! When I explained my shock that shirts could possibly cost this much, since these exact shirts had been through their store multiple times both laundered to hanger or laundered and folded in a box without a problem and nowhere near this price. I was told they were dry clean only and the tags said so. I didn't want to mess them up, so I took my shirts home to check the tags. 4 tags say Machine Wash Warm. 1 tag says Machine wash inside out at 40C. None of the tags say dry clean only. Oh and I was also told that my wife was told this when she dropped these shirts off before. She only dropped them once, I dropped them the other times, and I checked, nope they said nothing to her and I checked my last receipt and sure enough they were $2 each. I have zero tolerance for this type of dishonesty. I was not able to get a receipt since I was offered a discount because of this dispute. So be warned, if you keep going here your $2 shirts might become $8 at this location because it seems their business has been on the decline and they need to make it up somehow. read more

The second time we used Bella Cleaners FIVE pairs of supposedly cleaned kahaki-colored pants had numerous blue ballpoint pen marks. My husband had worn several pairs before we figured out that they had returned from the dry cleaners marked up. Despite the fact that we showed them an unworn pair of pants that were also marked, Bella Cleaners was unwilling to take responsibility for ruining five pairs of pants. Also, the woman I initially dealt with was incredibly rude and combative. They get one star for re-cleaning all of the ruined pants. However, they could not get the pen marks out.. It took two weeks to get them to give us $50 towards new pants, too bad $50 won't cover the cost of one pair of pants, much less five. After having shirts returned to me with food on them still, orders lost and me continuing to return, it took a soiled comforter coming back to me with dry vomit on it to realize that this place shouldn't be operating!! When I confronted the store owner, I not only was called a liar, but was told the dry crusty vomit was "clean"! After flatly refusing to give my money back, it took another 20 minutes to get an offer to reclean (at not charge) and then (out of spite) she wanted to keep it for another week, when it wasn't there that long the first time! I used to go here when I lived in Eastside because a friend recommended it. Since then, I moved back to Seattle, with actual Seattle address, but I still just collect all my dry cleaning and take a drive out there to get them cleaned. It's hard to find good people to trust your clothes, especially dry cleaning ones which generally are more expensive too, so I'm sticking with them as long as I have clothes to get cleaned! read more

Horrible service and expensive fees. I sent 4 coat to dry cleaning there and was charged for ~$80. With this price, I'd expect a decent cleaning quality. But it is not the case. I found many dusts remain on the collar, sleeve and inside of the coat. When asked them why, they told me they don't clean inside. If I want to have inside cleaned, I need to pay double the price. This is ridiculous. It is first time that I heard a dry cleaning only cover outside of the coat and I need to pay double to get inside also cleaned. The owner also told me even if I bought new coat, it will be like this. This is obviously not true!. The owner also yelled at me for not telling them the button is missing. First, nobody asked me about missing button when I dropped the coat off, Second, I didn't even ask them about the missing button when I do the pick up. I have used this dry cleaners for years. In the last 2 years every time I have used them there has been a major problem. Today, I had 3 of my husband's dress shirts washed and pressed. Two of the 3 shirts are ruined. Both shirts are wine colored. One is now so faded it is ruined and will be thrown out. The other has a large stain that the dry cleaners created so it will also be thrown out. I looked at the shirts outside the store and saw the issues immediately. I talked to Bella Cleaners about both shirts promptly. I was polite, courteous, however factual. They had excuses with ZERO attempt to take responsibility. I will not go to this dry cleaners again. I have been a loyal customer and brought in a coat for alterations. I asked what the price would be and was quoted $25.00. I agreed to the price & was told it would be ready in a few days. When I went to pick the item up, it all of a sudden went up to $50.00 because of the lining in the coat. I explained that this was not what I was told and I didn't think it was right that they just went ahead and did the alteration without calling to get my consent. She said she would bring it down to $35.00 but would not give it to me the quoted price of $25.00. It does not make sense to me that they don't value my business enough to waive the additional cost. If you care about your clothes - don't bring them here! I brought in brand new pants and dress shirt WITH tags from Nordstroms here to get pressed for a wedding. I came back to find that they couldn't press the shirt because they found a hole in it. The shirt looked like it had been ran over by a truck. It was dirty had lint and threads stuck to it and had a giant very noticeable and very new hole near one of the front buttons - the button looked like it was almost going to fall off. There is no way that you would not notice this hole when buying the shirt - and let's be real this was not from Ross but from Nordstroms. In any case they denied it and were not apologetic. I forced them to find the tags so at least I could return it to the store - this was a very shitty bad experience. Avoid this place! read more

Only giving one star since there is no option for zero stars. I was a regular here for 3 years until they decided to charge me (without telling) me dry cleaning rates for my shirt. I got a nasty surprise when I went to pickup my shirts as it cost 3 times per shirt. The answer I got was "these are nice shirts". Well, the reply I gave was they were nice shirts when you did regular cleaning on them last month for one third the price, and the shirts came out just fine. So, depending on the person you drop off your shirts - you will pay a different price for the same outcome. Legalized robbery in a way. I stopped in a few months ago to see if I could have two pairs of curtain panels sewn together, so there would be 2 curtains instead of 4. The young lady at the counter said sure, no problem. I delayed bringing them in until right before vacation so I wouldn't have to be without curtains for a week. I brought them in folded into two piles and made a special point to be as clear and repetitive as possible about what I wanted in order to bridge any language gaps. When I picked the curtains up, they had been dry cleaned, but NOT sewn together! At first they said, "We're cleaners, not sewing" and I explained how I had asked specifically in advance and was told they could handle it (plus other reviews and I believe even their window says they do alterations). Then he told me that I hadn't explained to him what I wanted, and I responded that I distinctly remember being very clear about it, and I wouldn't have asked for clean curtains to be cleaned. The gentleman apologized and brought his wife over to discuss the sewing, but I didn't want to try again and asked for a refund of the $65 dry cleaning bill, which they did agree to. I'm sure if you wanted dry cleaning Bella would be fine, and I appreciate their professional response to the situation, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I'm not sure what the standard prices are here having just moved from Chicago, but in Chicago I would have paid less than $2 an item. I was very upset at the $7.50 an item cost and will not be bringing anything else to Bella Cleaners. I finally found my cleaners...! I've been trying different places here and there, looking for the right place with good customer service and reasonable price. I love the lady who owns this place--she's really nice and knows what needs to be done to my clothes. I have a lot of dresses that require dry cleaning, and they do an excellent job and now I don't have to worry about my clothes being ruined anymore. Dry cleaning results are good. They seems to take care with clothing hardware, e.g., zippers, buttons, bling, unlike some other cleaners I've experienced. However, their prices are too high, perhaps about 10-20% higher than average. They also do not do same day cleaning. I sent in a white shirt and a white pant for cleaning. When I picked them up, instead of my original pure white pant, they gave me an old-looking bluish white pant. I became very skeptical; so I walked out the door to check the color of the pant and it is even more bluish under the bright daylight. Also, I noticed the way they ironed it did not follow the line of the pant. So I became suspicious; I turned the pants over and discovered they were trying to hide a big blusih stain underneath. I walked back to the store to show them what they tried to hide and they first tried to deny it by saying that my pant came in that way (which I have to inform them that this pant has barely been worn; and being the most expensive garment in my closet and I had never tried to wash it at home.) The lady and the men working in the store were very rude and lound; the men kept arguing the pant is still white. So I had to tell him that my pant is pure white, not the blusih white. I basically have to beg them to try to fix it. So, i returned two days after to picked up the pant. The stain is smaller but still there; the pant is still bluish. I asked the lady to try one more time to fix it, which she refused right away. And as soon as I told them I am going to take it to another cleaner to have it fixed; the men jumped out behind the counter to yell me to go other place. I told him that I will bring back the bill from other cleaner for them to pay. So, he yelled back "Ok, Go." I will keep you all updated if he pays or not. By the way, about the shirt. I am not even going to go into detail. I can probably do a better job with my own washing machine at home. I also found 3 small hairs stuck on the shirt (my husband is bald.) read more
