I did have a couple of very specific items that I would purchase if the price was right. I had a caliper/vernier on the list. Mine has lost its tiny electric brain and is crazy. I spotted the mechanical one that I wanted. The quality was astonishing, this tool will certainly last forever. Honestly, I could include this item in my will. It was certainly more expensive than the electronic one that I got from Harbor Freight. I've tried to use the Harbor Freight version, but it was useless. So for this particular tool pay for the quality. Making a shopping list was certainly more productive than actually walking into the store with a pre-generated list. I spotted a lot of items that I knew I was out of, but hasn't made it onto any list at all. I spotted a Dremel tool at a very low price. It may have been on clearance. Now I do want a Dremel tool, but I would use it so infrequently that it's hard to justify. However, the price was low enough that I felt much temptation. I must have been completely turned around the first time I was in the store. This time I found the clearance bins. As usual I found quite a few items to tempt me. I managed to hold my horses and resist but it wasn't easy. The store is also bigger than I realized. Which means the greatest barrier to shopping is finding your item in the maze. I didn't buy anything so my take on customer service is a little shaky. However, the staff did seem to be awfully efficient And the line moved rapidly. This store is part of a chain, and I have certainly been in bigger ones. But I didn't miss the size. They have simply jammed a lot of inventory into a smaller space. But you do need a sharp eye just in case you walk by an item. I like this hardware store. But there is one way close to me at home which I like faintly better. So I'm going home with my shopping list.

I live in a townhouse community, and they were very respectful of the shared space. They did an excellent job cleaning up the carport area they used for their equipment and materials. We ran into a few unexpected issues during the project, but Young was always upfront about what was happening and communicated his solutions clearly. His recommendations were thoughtful and turned out great. I would definitely use Kay Green again for any future landscaping projects and will happily recommend them to family and friends!

They ruined and broke numerous branches while admitting that these plants are very delicate. They rushed the job that should have been at least two hours and finished in one hour. I should have stopped them after the owner told me to go inside and they will let me know when they were done. You never tell someone that's paying you $500 dollars to take your time and do a professional job to go inside. I should have told him to get the F off of my property and hired someone else. I would have been better off hiring men from Home Depot. Totally unprofessional, rushed the job, ruined a couple of plants and didn't give a shit how it looked, even after I showed the owner the damaged plants and all the broken branches only to find more as the branches dried out in the weeks to come. He tells me the plants are delicate, but yet they didn't treat them that way. I will never hire this unprofessional company again and recommend that you don't hire them either. They have plenty of help to do a good job, but refuse to do so. This was a total rip off job to the tune of $500. I'm so sorry I hired this clown to do this job, every time I look at what they did it makes me sick and pissed that I didn't throw them off my property and paid them nothing. We were able to get everything we needed and more. Very happy with this location. Their sign is very noticeable from outside the mall, plenty of parking as well. Walking in we were greeted immediately. They have a bunch of small trinkets/pens/goodies to the left as well as a selection of skeletons and other outdoor decor further on. Just past the front counter they have all the home decor from various movies or themes. They've got a wall of blankets (some plush and some not so much so definitely check them out before buying!) and on the other side of that there are masks, larger animatronic spooky decorations and props. All the baby through young adult costumes are on the left side of the store while all the adult costumes are on the right side. They seem to have a larger selection this year than last when it comes to certain kid characters (different variations) so it was neat seeing the expansion. Could just be because it's a different location but either way this was a good location as our first choice.

We never once felt pressured; they completely avoided upselling and instead provided us with plenty of fantastic options to fit different budget ranges. Even when we requested late changes to the plan, they were always accommodating and happy to pivot. The execution was just as impressive as the planning. Their crew was exceptionally reliable--always arriving on time Monday through Saturday, and sometimes even putting in hours on Sundays to keep things moving. You can genuinely tell they take pride in the quality of their work. Every single detail, from the flawless concrete countertops and tile work in our new outdoor kitchen to the modern paver walkways, fire pit, and turf, was executed perfectly. In addition, we mistakenly showed up on a Monday in San Jose to pick up our assembled table and six chairs with a rented trailer (drove from the East Bay), only to find the store closed on Mondays! A few phone calls later, Charles answered from the Santa Cruz store, and drove an hour to San Jose to allow us to pick up our furniture. What other kind of store is that customer friendly and accommodating?
