I'm giving this 5 stars not because it is a gourmet Italian restaurant, but because it is a consistent quality pizza parlor that also serves great Italian food. We eat in house and order out quite a bit. My favorite way to get the pizza is by-the-slice in house. (to go on a plate) The slices are bigger and they crisp up nice when they re-heat them. The to-go pies are great also, just a little smaller. We have gotten several of the pasta dishes and they are all pretty good. Large portions and made fresh to order. It's an authentic Italian pizza parlor run by mexicans. I'm not saying it because it's a bad thing, but that's the situation. They do a great job and care about the quality, but if you want a bunch of old guys yelling at each other in Italian then you have to go to Pizza Pastiticio which is the most authentic place in the area... but I have two Bella's within delivery distance and they are also great. read more

One of my favorite Italian places!! They have one of the best gluten free pizzas!! My favorite dinner here is the Buffalo chicken on a gluten free crust and a chicken avocado salad, it's perfect size to split! The owner is great, she knows what she is doing!! The staff was friendly and place was clean. Unfortunately, the pizza was flavorless. Perhaps I'll try something else another time.

Bottom Line: A good spot for carry out pizza and Italian. When I first moved to Arnold I ate Bella Italia pizza all the time and got very burned out on it. I stopped going to Bella Italia for awhile but I have once again found myself stopping in for carryout. For better or for worse I have fallen in love with their Penne Vodka. Penne Vodka is penne pasta, of course, in a creamy vodka sauce with ham and mushrooms. It is decadent, rich and delicious and hits the spot every time. It is absolutely comfort food. My husband is also on a pasta kick and he's been enjoying the Fettuccine Bolognese. The eggy-ness of the fettuccine noodles really takes the dish up a notch. We still get a pizza occasionally and our go-to is a pepperoni and mushroom pie. I'm still not a big fan of Bella's salads unfortunately. If their salads were better I am sure I would go even more. read more

Ordered an Italian COLD CUT. After waiting over 30 minutes received a well done oven cooked HOT Italian sub. The stupidity of this place is unsurpassed. Unfortunately there's not much food/restaurants in Arnold, MD. That's why this low level food service is able to survive. Well worth it to drive 5 minutes to La Posta Italian restaurant in Severna Park, MD. LaPosta is cleaner, classier, and the food is light years better than Bella garbage. Top it off LaPosta knows that an Italian COLD CUT sub is supposed to be COLD!!! read more

Great food and we have always picked up our meals! The portions may be a little on the smaller side than most Italian restaurants but we have never eaten inside the establishment so maybe they are bigger when dining in! Stopped by Bella Italia after finding it on Yelp while driving by. Walked in and it was totally empty, we ordered and in the few minutes it took our food to come, the place totally filled up. I like this spot. I've eaten here dozens of times but have never done a review. So here it is. The pizza is very good here and honestly it's my go to whenever I'm here. The pizza dough is nice and light. As is the sauce. Not too sweet either. I always add garlic to my pizza but I love a lot of garlic. Honestly I use more than enough garlic to scare away a vampire lol The mozzarella seems to be good quality and tastes as such. There's not a lot of grease on the pizza either. I usually get mushrooms and/or pepperoni on my pie. I like the canned mushrooms better than fresh so for me, using canned mushrooms on pizza is the way to go and Bella Italia does. The staff here is always friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean. The ambiance is very casual and they've almost always got a soccer game playing on the tv. We've ordered subs from here before and had no complaints (hence the third star) but hard pass on the pizza. Ordered the Sicilian and added sausage, mushrooms, and olives. The crust was baked until it was as crispy as a cracker, the mushrooms were definitely from a can, and there was hardly any sausage at all. TBH, Domino's pizza is better. I would say that it seems the dining area was designed more for a lunch crowd who will be there to eat and leave and less like a place to relax and enjoy time with the family. After going to the Annapolis location many times, and really liking their pizza, I was excited to try this location out. It was a comfortable place to take the kids and the people were friendly. Unfortunately, it was the worst non-chain pizza that I've had in years. The crust/dough was very undercooked and the cheese was a greasy and sloppy mess. I live in Arnold, and usually travel to SP to Squizito's for good Italian Style pizza. Never trying the Bella's in Annapolis we were eager to try this location when they opened. Hands down- the best pizza in the area. Very fresh, and good. A little more expensive than some of the other places around (for pizza) but definitely worth it. The prices of the pasta dishes are average. I've tried a few of the pasta dishes there, and not a huge fan of some, the Pesto Gnocci is to die for however. My family gets pizza about 4x a month from there! They have seating inside and are getting there liquor licence soon, if they haven't already! read more
